Thanks for your channels, yup many tourists go there nowadays. The country is mountains locked instead saying Landlocked.
Independent State/ country location at Northeast India & Southwest China, next to Nepal , after Bangladesh was born, India map circle this Country.
They are a good people, no highways system widely, Jeep and truck's going instead of Buses. No fishing & Swimming for sure.
However, they are a very good pilots in the regional.
20 years ago, when i worked for Tour guide, we were flying with Fokker aircrafts many times.

I am surprised that the ATR has the single engine performance to operate there. I guess the engine out safety turn/routing is quite complex.

Very dangerous approach especially by Night!
Luckily there are no scheduled flights at night at this airport. The airport only has visual approaches, in good visibilty. But it still is a tricky airport!
Slice off some mountain tops. Terrain is scary on landing approach. But beautiful country this appears to be

If you play in a sim you get the same warnings. It's not the easiest placeto land for sure, which you can see in some videos I did on it. I'm not that great anyway but these landings bith runways just sucked. (mine at Paro I mean)

Viewers think, it is difficult to land at Paro. The fact is that it is easy to land at Paro airport. Because there is no cross-wind. Only thing, you have to have a special training for landing at Paro airport. Flight path is already programmed in the system. All you have to do is to control the plane.

Richy One There is nothing fake about this video. This is an ATR flight of Druk Air, Royal Bhutan Airlines. The approach to Paro is well known for its heartstopping momments.
I am surprised they have the performance to get out with a V1 engine failure given the terain.
