This summer I used these on the Wyoming BDR, the mid-Atlantic BDR and a part of the north-east BDR as well. Put them on in Montana and got home to Florida with 8,200 miles on the bike and they look barely 1/2 used … Love these things!!!

@@OneOldManRiding it was as good as to be expected. I have always done things and gone placed at speeds that my equipment can handle. Because I travel thousands of miles per summer I need tires that can “do it all” . These tires are very good in that respect. I never (on the WYBDR) felt like my tires left me wanting, as I know the limitations of the bike and tires I use …
I have done all of the BDR’s currently published and the only one I kinda wish I had pure knobbies on was the IDBDR. That one was a bit tough.
Of course, all of the west BDR’s would be a lot more fun on a 300-450 cc bike but getting there on a 300 from Florida would not work for me.
Take care and hope to see you on the dirt 😎.

I had a set on my R1200GS. I found them to be a bit sketchy on wet asphalt, with the 100+ ftlbs of torque making the rear end step out. Glad to have traction control. But I got over 12k miles out of the set!
I have a new 390 now, and haven’t decided what I’ll replace the stock TKC70’s with when the time comes. Thanks for the video.

Hello Nathan, I just ride from the PNW to Upstate NY on a set of these on a VStrom 1000. After 5K miles, I feel the tire is better on the 390. Like you I had some slips on wet asphalt with the VStrom that has never occurred on the 390. It feels like the big bike version of the rear is harder than the 390 size. - Frank

Good review, which i can confirm. I have riden my first set on heavily loaded R1250GSA ADV and can confirm you get an amazing mileage for a decent behaviour both on road and dry offroad conditions.8000 Miles + is realistic with average riding behaviour. I just ordered my second sets and this tyre perfomed way better than my MITAS E07+ which were finished after 4000 Miles and much louder. But just be careful on the road during the first 500 miles especially in wet conditions. They can be very slippery. Afterwards... fantastic!

I just put a set on my ktm 690 enduro r. I don’t get in the trails as much as I’d like to but I do use the bike to commute to work and quick trips to the shops a lot. My buddy has them on his BMW gs800 and he likes them so I figured I’d give them a shot. They were very slippery when I first mounted them so I’d be careful in the turns until you get them scrubbed in. They are much smoother on the road than the knobby tires that I was running. Hopefully they last a lot longer than the ones I had on there. I’m pretty sure they will

I've been thinking this for years, the space between the logs or knobs makes a huge impact in the capabilities of a tire to be great at off road. They could have a design that works on road, but with enough space to grab the dirt.

I just don’t like the rear mission tire. After 19k Km I’d say they don’t really do anything well. The slip on wet roads unlike any other tire I’ve ever ridden. They even slip on dry roads after the tread is worn down just a bit. Offroad they are just OK. The side lugs are well built and dig into ruts well enough. The front tire on the other hand is a damn good tire with astonishing grip wet and dry. The front tracks well in gravel. I’m going for mitas next.

Greetings, like your channel and will subscribe as a fellow 2023 KTM 390 rider. Have about 3,000 mi. on my bike now and looking to ditch the TKC 70's. I like most of what I've read and seen on the Trailmax Missions but hoping you can address my primary concern. These tires are really heavy. The rear tire is at least 4 lbs. heavier than AX41, E 07+, TKC 80 and Anakee Wild. That's a lot of unsprung weight... and while the 390 has some oomph it isn't an Africa Twin or 1250 GS. I know you ran the E 07's on your 390, could you notice any difference or comment on the weight effect or not. Also know you shot this video awhile ago so any tire advice is appreciated.

Hello Mike, the TMM are crazy heavy, and I absolutely noticed the weight of the front turning for a minute. Thanks for your review! How would you compare the TMM front to E07+ front in gravel, mud and wet pavement? I remember you praised the Mitas e07+ rear but not so much the E07+ front. I've already chosen me next rear tire but still doubting what to put on front. Best regards!

Hello JustWheels, The Mitas front would do better in really sticky mud, it does clear better. That said, for most riding I would choose the TMM. In everything but terrible mud I found it be a better tire. I am running an AX-41 that was recommended to me recently, with a Mitas E-07 rear, and I think that's my choice for tough terrain. I used it in mud, dirt, and deep sand in Florida recently. Performed amazingly well. - Frank

Great Review. New Sub. My buddy put these on his KLR 650, and they performed as well as you would expect looking at them. I know there supposed to be excellent. But it was early in the season, he even wrecked on the asphalt. It was early in the season. I wonder if they lost that performance in the cold weather? I wanted to try them, but they scare me now. Most of his wrecks I got on video.

Hello Adventure Glide, I am now running these on two bikes. The 390 Adventure and the VStrom 1000. I am noticing there is a difference in the tire performance between the sizes.
I have never had a slide on the 390 version. Just yesterday I was riding in forty degrees, riding a twisty mountain road. Zero issues.
When I was riding the VStrom from the PNW back to NY, I was in temps as low as 34. In Yellowstone I nearly put the bike down when I was on a tight corner as the rear tire just slid to the outside of the corner. SO much that I saw my pannier in the edge of my vision!
I rode the VSTrom in rain and hail many times on the trip, no issues other than the corner incident. After that I was VERY careful on corners. And I have to say I would NEVER try and corner as aggressively as I do on the 390. I have no proof, but my theory is that the larger size tires are a harder compound that does not deform and corner as well on cold roads. I know from warm days that the TMM corners very well on the VStrom. - Frank

Hi Frank, thank you for the review om the TMMs, I think I'll order the front now and a rear before my East coast trip.
My Vee650 came with Shinko 705's, The back is still like new but the front already had a lot of cupping, and even with the air pressure bumped up they howl, vibrate and under 10-15 mpg you can feel the bump, bump of the cupping. It is getting to the point of being frustrating. These tires will fill the bill of getting me from coast to coast without a tire replacement needed along the way. 👍

Very stiff tire. I went over 50 miles (street) back to my camper on a rear flat with this tire on a T7. If the deflated shredded tube wasn't out of balance I wouldn't have known it was flat. Stopped with me setting on the bike no one could tell it had zero air pressure.

So I've been seriously considering the e07 Plus. Looking at a few reviews there is several complaints about the front tire but practically no complaints about the rear. The opposite is true for the trail Max. I'm just curious since you have first hand experience with exactly both, what you think about running an e07 rear and a trail Max Mission Front?
