Nat Geo!! Congrats Eva. It's exactly where the most adventurous person belongs. Way to go girl!! Looking forward to watching.
I hope I can be an adventurous person like Eva too for my travel vlog 🙏
Totally 👍🏼
Jodybressi do you want her suffer?/dead?
Eva, thanks for being such an inspiration! After watching you ( and several other young people on UA-cam) strike out on adventures… I left my comfortable & luxurious life and moved from Central Ohio to Northern Vermont… alone, 3 months before my 57 th birthday ( had never visited VT prior to moving here) . I have been living in an unfinished garage with leaking roof, with no doors ( gaping holes though), sleeping on crushed stone on a 2” camping mattress for 4 months ( as my 600 sq ft cottage on the mountain is renovated). Three nights ago, it was in the low 20’s F and windy! Omgosh was it freezing! My kitty and I were sleeping inside a blanket fort but it wasn’t enough. I pulled my blanket over our heads and tucked all around our bodies. She laid across my chest under my neck. I breathed on her to keep her warm. I GET WHAT YOU MEAN.. I feel more alive than ever before!! We just got our first snow fall and a friend texted to ask if I was sleeping inside ( I slept outside 4 nights even after my wood stove had been set up in my home… it felt stifling to be inside. Currently only my bed is inside , hoping to be fully moved in within 3 days. I haven’t had cell service or internet until a week ago when Starlink came. After 3 hours online , I boxed it up and went “ dark again “. I was so much happier while not connected to the hive mind. Plugged in tonight because was first snow and wanted to listen to vintage winter music, but got pulled into you😊
ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE YOU! Keep grabbing life by the horns girlfriend!
Who gets excited every time Eva post a new video?! 🙋🏽♀️ she is so brave! Positive vibes for everybody here ❤
She does point the camera up at her bottom a lot. You knows that's on purpose. Clickbait. Stay strong men. Say no to e-girls.
@@marsettenmohn What is wrong with you? Are you okay?
@@marsettenmohn Your sexism and misogyny is the opposite of positive vibes. Awful comment. Be better.
Same tho. Her videos always make me able to take my head off of life for a bit, it's so well made. Always sparks a really pleasant feeling in my heart when I see her happy and reaching her goals. Thank you for giving us strength and inspiring us Eva ✨🌱
@@misutsuki She does point the camera up at her bottom a lot. You knows that's on purpose. Clickbait. Stay strong men. Say no to e-girls.
I often sleep in similar conditions, and I find that a classic rubber hot water bottle put inside the sleeping bag can really really increase your comfort while sleeping. It's very cheap and easy to use when you have a stove and access to water! I've never had it pop or spill, highly recommend
You know what i keep wondering?? How does the night sky look up there? It must be so beautiful without the light polution!! And what about the feeling of hearing just the nature around you? No cars, no people screaming, no machines. I wish i could feel this one day! So much peace🥺
@@GNMi79 yeah because I'm sure you've been there and also are her close friend 😊 we know nothing about how far she is from her neighbours
@@ilianasanto1440 she must be close
I would love to live with such beauty around me in some comfort. When I was just out of high school I had a chance to live in a canvas t.p,but when the real cold came we moved to an apartment. ✌❤🙂
@@jumano how do you think she transported the coaches, table and tatami. Do you know how much a tatami weighs?
One scene in one of her previous videos showed her car parked beside a pavement road. I think it is not far down the track from her tent.
Global adventures, Nat Geo excitement, English accent, Polish culture, natural beauty, inspiring conversations, and so much more = the very BEST of UA-cam all in one channel. Another top notch vlog/film Eva! 🎬
That is NOT an English accent!
So, Eva... First of all congratulations on the National Geographic gig! They were lucky to have you. Those of us who follow you, enjoy living (to some extent) vicariously through your adventures. Your presentations - like this one - always inspire, inform and entertain. Just keep doing what you do. We'll keep coming along for the ride...
To make nights warmer, I would set up a small tent in the big tent and put the bed in the small tent. I read that this was done with yurts in Mongolia.
I've commented in the past about letting Vilk be a "working" dog by getting a cart or wagon to allow him to help pull some of your gear up to your living space. Working dogs aim to please so he would certainly enjoy the process and it would also keep him fit allowing him to release some energy that he obviously has plenty of. There are tons of ergonomic harnesses out there that would allow him to pull heavy loads without putting too much strain on him.
@@KDad514 You need a rigid connection from the dog to the wagon. This keeps the wagon from running when the dog stops, without a driver and break like snow sleds.
@@dsmith9572 Not necessarily. I designed a spring loaded kinetic brake system for our carts that only allows it to roll forward when the dog is pulling on a soft lead. I found that when our dogs were packing their gear in using rigid pulls it put unnecessary stress on them when transitioning up and down hill. With my design they have a much more comfortable pull from a single point on their harnesses plus it allows them more range of movement in deciding which line they want to choose on the path.
Yes the strange drama of her carrying in her supplies each time has worn thin..
Excellent episode Eva and Vilk! You two seem to be living your best life in this video. Thanks for sharing, can't wait for the next one!
Yes my exact thoughts!! Vilk seems sooo happy and his zoomies is absolutely hilarious, he is so happy and comfortable with their own space and it shows. Absolutely love this for them.
25:01 in my limited opinion, having a home base, whether extravagant or simple, makes the hardcore traveling more enjoyable. Always having somewhere that's yours too come back to is the sweetest cap to a long journey.
Eva, congratulations! You deserved it. You can bet your almost 2 million subscribers didn't hurt when you pitched your idea.
Good evening, Miss Zubeck. I am a tracker and mountaineer. I would like to tell you that wolves are very attracted to ashes. I don't know why, but it is something natural for them. One suggestion to avoid attracting them is to bury them or keep them in a bag far from your home.
Congrats Eva! Can't wait to see your new show!
Nat Geo! Congrats! I own the same stove and it’s good you don’t have the stove jack yet because you should burn it outside first before using it inside. Make sure not to use treated or painted wood because of chemical fumes! Unless you keep feeding it throughout the night you should let the fire go out before bed time. One time my flue didn’t work properly and I woke up with a tent full of smoke.
If you are going to over winter there, I would suggest upgrading to a Winnerwell Nomad large, with heat exchanger and adding fire bricks on the bottom. This will let you efficiently burn wood, along with getting the fire to simmer for 6 hours. Typically, when the fire is simmering, the temperature is 20-25 degrees F warmer than the outside temperature if there is little wind. I also put a 2 gallon pot with water on the stove as a good way of capturing the heat and always having water available. Rock on!
You're videos never disappoint. Welcome back and congratulations!
I just LOVE what you do and how you embrace life and adventure! I’m truly heartbroken that you have to deal with this intrusion on your privacy and person.. so I hope you will be able to stay safe and continue to live the life you love and deserve.. we all will be right here waiting for your return to the channel and completely support you and are sending prayers for peace and a calm heart as you work through this temporary trial. Your strong, capable and a beautiful soul who will be back to your mountain view❤
My life has been amazing in it's own humble way. This makes me genuinely thrilled for you as part of the joy in life is to still share in the adventures of a new generation. Life is full for those who put forth the effort. Congratulations Eva!!!
EVA - I HOPE YOU READ THIS - IF YOU PUT YOUR NEW STOVE INSIDE OF YOUR TENT, PLEASE BUY A CARBON-MONOXIDE GAS DETECTOR/ALARM AND MOUNT IT ON THE WALL INSIDE OF YOUR TENT BEFORE USING THE STOVE! >>>>> IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE.
I have come to the conclusion that some of us are nomadic in nature and others are stationary. I should be nomadic but I'm stuck in one place.. thus I sit here idling, waiting for a moment that will never commence. You are nomadic in nature, out there experiencing, living. How ever you also need a place to come home to rest, relax, reflect and recharge before you are off on your next adventure. The change of pace from one to the other is how you refresh and become ready for the other. smiles for miles
Congratulations Eva! Nat geo?! You go girl! So proud of you!. I'll always follow you wherever you go.
I always love it when Vilk "helps" you set up camp. I think you are seeing the benefit of having a home base. You can still always go out on adventures, but now you have a place to come back to and de-stress and recharge for the next one. So glad you got a stove for the yurt, it will pay for itself the first really cold night this winter. I would recommend getting a bag of charcoal to keep under the deck for those snowy and wet days it's hard to get the wood to burn. You should also install a hand water pump at your spring, it makes getting water quick and easy, especially in bad weather.
Good shout!
One small advice, use saw for cutting the wood and axe for splitting. You will save much more energy and make job faster
I had seen people using saw, a sledgehammer and wedges.
When would you use an axe and when would you use wedges?
@@charonstyxferrymanit's very simple, for cutting use saw and when you need to split the wood you use the axe.
Eva, as a long time subscriber. Really felt your true energy in this video.
Speaking from my experience I was torn between the two dynamics. Of home base and absolute gypsy!
But you’ve settled that in my mind! It’s true that one soul can be both. I’m not confused anymore. Don’t have shame or guilt now.
So great respect to you, our modern day philosopher.
Thank you
I commented on your first NatGeo video that they should have let you film it in your own way, so I am so excited they actually did! Congratulations!
The problem is it centers her so much that it makes the people and cultures she visits seem like extras a lot of the time..She already has a YT channel about herself.
Thanks for sharing Eva. You are so fortunate to be doing what you love. I am enjoying this journey with you.
Lovely to see you back Eva.
I laughed out loud when Vilk fetched a tree. Congratulations Eva on the show with Nat Geo! I look forward to seeing it!
Have been waiting for your videos eagerly ❤
Vilk looks so fun!
Wolves are very unlikely to bother you, but they won't tolerate a dog in their territory. Keep him close at night and he will be safe.
Depending on weather conditions like where i live in the Caribbean for example, concrete houses are a must due to hurricanes but i absolutely love camping and sleeping under the stars when I can. Totally get what you mean about feeling alive, being fully immersed in nature instead of a house with all the amenities that separate us from the outside natural rhythms.
You need a rigid connection (wood or aluminum poles) from wagon to dog. This keeps the wagon from running when the dog stops. You don't have a driver and break to do that like the snow sleds.
It was time to get a heater/wood stove before winter. The forest is so beautiful, a great time to come home.
So happy your back! Yes we’ve all missed your content. CONGRATULATIONS ❤ You truly are an inspiration. Absolutely a breath of fresh air. Absolutely adorable ❤
Yes !!! I agree, someone to keep you warm❤
Me to! I couldn’t think of anyone better for the experience ❤
Oh my gosh, young lady! I am excited about the Nat Geo project. Happy to hear Kasia has recovered. They seem like great people.
I must tell you how happy your videos make me. I smile the entire time and laugh at some points. You, assembling your trolly, (a cart here in the states), and Vilk pulling it brought quite a 'guffa'.
As for heating your house, the stove will be a great addition. For another option, there is an older English gentleman, I believe a retired high school science teacher with a YT channel, (sorry, I can't remember his or the channel's name), that shows how to make a small heater from a couple of tin cans and a piece of carbon felt. It will burn several different types of fuel, requires minimal venting and no electricity.
I plan on building a 'greenhouse' this coming spring to extend my veggie growing season and plan on using one or two of those heaters to warm the inside all winter. One might be a good option for you.
Please keep smiling and posting. This video just made the rest of my week better. Thank you.
So freaking happy for you!!! I’ve been following you for years and always thought you’d be great for nat geo! Congratulations!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!
I save your videos for when i can sit down and really enjoy the moment. I definitely love your videos where you're traveling and showing us new people and cultures but i have to say that these videos of your every day life are my favorite, because it feels just like catching up with my best friend.
Great purchase on the Winnerwell stove. I have one and they are awesome! Get yourself a Co2 Monitor as well for inside the tent while using the stove. It will save your life!
And a fire extinguisher :)
I love what you said about living in the fast lane when you want and then returning to the quiet mountain life in your tent. I have done both as well. Sometimes I want solitude and other times I want to be busy and get out there with others. We can enjoy both. I love your videos.
I'm so happy to see you back! I among thousands of others, simply Love you. I look forward to your NG series!
you are such a boss. thank you for taking us all along for the ride.
Nice that you are back. Vilk is also very happy to be with you. Maybe you could put a garden hose in your water source and pull it down to your camp. Once the hose is full of water, you always have running water and no longer have to go up to the spring. Down at the camp you simply put a tap on it so you can keep the pressure in the hose. I'm locking forward to your next video. Poland is such a beautiful country.
Every video of you is so inspiring to me. I love that you share your honest thoughts & your learnings with us. Congrats on Nat Geo! Excited to see this series.
You SO deserve a National Geographic show! 😊
I'm very much looking forward to seeing it. And the view from your "porch"! 😯
Eva! I love and live through your adventures! Never stop exploring and trying new things.
Eva don't worry about us, if you need or want to take a break from regular posting. We knew what we were in for when we signed up. Will we worry about you, YES. But we also know that you are an amazing young lady, and we have trust in your abilities. Now, as far as needing a cuddle buddy goes🖐I'm pretty good at radiating heat. 😁Anyway, you and Vilk stay safe! As always BIG HUGS and much❤from America!
It's heartfelt to see you seem to have found the ability to pivot from 2 different lifestyles easily. Being able to enjoy both is a huge bonus you should enjoy as long as you can because it's not likely going to last for longer than a few years unless you've planned exceptionally well. I live a similar life & think you've made some great choices for you & Vilk. I also have a dog & I'm able to leave with my family for extended trips abroad as well as short ones. It's a huge bonus to have dogsitters!
It is so nice to finally watch a video from you. We missed you for the last few months. I still think you should build a prefabricated house on your land. Find a plan to your liking and then find a local team to build a foundation. By spring you could have a comfortable home. ❤
I can tell Vilk missed you soooo much, he's so very happy to see his Mama!!
Congratulations on the Nat Geo adventure! Awesome, and yes you have to take those opportunities when they are available. Your mountain home is beautiful, and you take charge of what needs to be done. And Vilk is the perfect companion dog - large enough to be protective and you are very fit yourself. Peace and good vibes.
Every video you do reminds me why you’ve created my favorite channel. You have an authentic & inspirational tone in each one & you are helping people out there more than you know. Keep living your life by your design & keeping it real. You rock .
Your introspection, your joy is so infectious! And congrats on your NatGeo adventures!
Wonderful to see you back Ewa! Cannot wait to see the next video. I hope you’re happy and content. The land that you can call your own is absolutely everything. You did great!
We will follow where you go
@Evazubeckvv 🔥🔥🔥
The colours of the trees are beautiful there now 🙂
Go with the flow and do what you like and enjoy
Yay I knew your Iceland Nat Geo experience was just the beginning of your Nat Geo adventure! I will watch whatever you do, from your Polish mountain retreat to the world you bring us with your wonderful laid back style, I will enjoy every minute of it.
my eyes swim down the ocean in watching you Thanks for it you get incredible moments to me
Eva, you are exactly right about accepting the fact that you canhave many lives. Being bold and active is awesome in your current season. Hardest part is when aging prunes away so many options.
Congratulations Eva....
This is Awesome news...

You are the most amazing person I have ever had the privilege to watch on this platform. Absolutely incredible. PS I got literal chills and goosebumps @3:44 when you finally got to sit down and take in that beautiful view. You are like magic behind that camera 🤙🙏🖖
Twoje poranki na tarasie przypominaja mi to wspaniale uczucie jakie towarzyszy moim porankom w namiocie kiedy przechodze jakis dluzszy szlak. I was "why would you give up living on the mountain the whole summer" and then went to, "oooh yeah fair, that is a excellent reason"
Congratulations Eva! I’ve been following you from the beginning! It’s awesome to see you thrive!!
Eva you are quite amazing!! But just a side note about your outdoor living experience and unless I’ve missed something about how you feel about creature comforts I would suggest you get some portable solar panels and harness the sun.
It would allow you to charge batteries for phones, lights, cameras , tools etc. I’ve seen these in use in other UA-camrs lives be it on boats or in off grid cabins and it seems to make a lot sense in your case too.
Beautiful footage of your adventure! Best wishes to Kasia on a speed recovery!
What a life Eva 😀 So many big, unexpected turns in your life, giving you experiences few people will ever have
Love your videos. Thank you
you can so have both. But one needs to find as well the patner that is happy to live like that and many other choices to make, it is a great question that you can still toy with and with your way of making the most of what the world offers us I am sure you will make the best decision that makes you happy. I envy in the most kind way your choices so far and I enjoy watching that growth of both your spirit and your personal abilities. Thank you for inspiring us slightly older ladies too ....
Congratulations Eva with the NAT GEO, pretty cool. Have a great week and God bless you.
That is so awesome!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!
It's your life to do and live the way you want
Clearly you love both. So why not do both! Stay home and build your dream home. When you feel frustrated with the build take a break and go travel. Take that time to reset then come home and continue where you left off. Either way, i still love watching your videos. Lots of love from Guam.

ms. beck, your style on being industrious, generously ambitious, and sharing your thoughts, being conscious and living makes you a "gift" to our times. perhaps it is the questions you ask as living that allow your growth to be witnessed, and an inspiration. carry on. if ever you feel the need for sharing questions with an old american southern fella art major beetle driver your welcomed to reach out. do you have a red riding hood?
p.s. congratulations on the nat geo show! you made that happen.
Wolves may be exciting to watch from a distance, but remember that they are predators. Vilk wouldn't have a problem defending himself if one came upon him while he was out playing but a pack may be a different story. And if you had chickens, lamb, sheep, goats, or any alike, they would be killed and eaten by them. Please remember. Glad you are back from you exciting summer filming gig with NG, to enjoy your future homestead. You do have a lovely view. Vilk was so happy to be back too and to have you again. I am sure he was in safe hands while you were away.
Actually, the risk of wolves attacking or killing people is very low and this is confirmed by research
@@Wojtixis If you would read before replying to a stranger your opinions, you may not have your input unwelcome and off putting. I didn't say anything about attacking people. They do attack the animals I mentioned, confirmed by people whom have lost animals to the attacks of wolves/coyotes. Research that!
Your Nat Geo contract will be life-changing. Am doing a happy dance at your news!
Hope there are no bears in the forests around you, Eva.
Have been thinking about your need to heat your tent and I see a few problems.
To install a wood-burning stove to heat your tent you need adequate ventilation so you are not effected by a build-up CO2 which can be fatal, and also a chimney or flue to expel smoke through a specifically made tent hole, one that has a flue feature. The stove also needs to be compact and made of materials that don't radiant redhot heat. And you need to place this stove on a non-flammable surface, like a sheet of fibro-cement.
Otherwise, propane heaters will work, but you must still be mindful of the danger of CO2 build-up.
And, it may help to cover your tent in a larger structure to make a tent 'fly', giving you a second layer and some insulation, protection from heavy snow etc.

Hello Eva: That was an epic gig: it doesn't surprise me at all that you were offered another National Geographic gig; believe me it won't be the last. I think you've cracked it re your lifestyle for the present; wild adventure then home to your place in the mountains; enjoy it to the full; it won't last forever. I think you've more than earnt the opportunity to work with National Geographic; all your other adventures were preparing you for it. You're very lucky to have two very good friends close to you. Take the wolves seriously. I will say a prayer for you. Pete Glyde

Hello there, travelers!
Ahhhh eva! You are so wonderful! Thank u for sharing whatever you want to share!!
EVA .... You have Vilk. Train him to be a pack dog, like huskies in Alaska, war dogs in the military, and rescue dogs for Fire & and Rescue services. He's old enough, and strong enough to do the work (early his kibble).
EVA .... for warmth inside your tent, Mongolian Bedouins, and North American Indigenous tribes, learned to create a fire pits or stone sauna pits to use stone heated by the fire, out in a cast iron container, and just pour water over th hot stones.
Wow that is amazing news.... can't wait to see the show!
Eva, a living, breathing Amazonian woman living in the country away from the decadent world of men. National Geographic is lucky to have found you🙏
As a 50+ year old man, I say with the utmost certainty, I wish I had the balls you have! Nothing but love, and the best wishes! Thank you for you're openness!!!
I've been wondering where you've been and not seeing any videos of you, vilk and his ambushes, and your property - now i know why! It was great to meet you and your mom and brother in person in Ashton Idaho, at the gas station...wish I could have given you a short tour of our beautiful area and show you our local hideouts. I missed my "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity.
Congrats on the May geo series, that’s awesome! So glad to have you back too! ❤
With that fragment about living your own life and coming back home, you hit the nail on the head, Eva. Simply be yourself and not be confined to stereotypes. I wish you a beautiful autumn in your Home and I'm off to my places in the Beskidy ;-)
Yeah! It's Eva! Love to see a new video. Regarding your stove, put rocks underneath the stove to stand on. Make a big hearth as it stops sparks that come out from the stove that can catch fire on the floor. Order a heat shield that goes on the back side of the stove. Get as tall a one as you can. I have a Kni-co stove. You can add a side table and a hotwater tank with a spout. Check them out for tent stoves.
Get a snow shovel for your deck and build some stairs with a railing. It will be slippery in the winter. Also get salt to sprinkle on the icey porch.
We all live our own way. I have a house full of things I've bought over the years and I do tons of things like ballet so I have ballet bars, sewing, camping, hiking, tools for building, woodwork car repair, lawn mower, rakes etc ..... I love all of it and would never want a tiny house. Just think of all the things you have from running and trips to run in snow with a sled etc. It's a matter of keeping it organized. The elite keep promoting this idea. They would love to live in huge houses while we slaves live in a shoe box. I dont need a mansion but for me I don't want a tiny home. Love the way you live is my motto. We are not all the same and shouldnt be. Each person is unique. That's what makes the world interesting.
Buy an ATV. You can put your trolly behind it and pack stuff in. See you will need a shed for your ATV and Trolley and an area for your wood in the shed. We build what we need to take care of the things we have. Living in the woods with a wood stove you will need a chainsaw and axe too. More things for the shed. Now what about growing your own food?
love this eva! gives me the chills! it is super motivating and inspirational to see you living such a life and to be you, who you really want. As a person who struggles with addiction and who also struggles with the question of 'what i really want to do in life', your videos give me purpose and motivation that days can be better and can be lived as such. It is wonderful to see what you are doing. you always keep us awaiting more! much love and respect!
Soooo happy for you Eva! You deserve it! You worked hard to get where you are
