My main problem is the pitch of my voice after stroke. Am stuck on one level so will keep using your videos to help. Thanks so much.

I couldn't hold my breath as much as you can. My range sounded flat too. Hope this improves.

It think those things can improve if you keep practicing and listen honestly, like you are doing!

Hello my sister just had a stroke about 3 weeks ago she’s doing really good, but can only say yes, no and a couple of very short sentences. She hasn’t started her speech therapy yet we’re still setting that up. I just wanted to thank you for sharing on how I can help thank you.

You are so welcome and I'm grateful for your comment. My experience tells me there's a great chance she will improve and make great progress pretty fast- if she really works at it. She's lucky to have you helping her 🍀! Wishing her a speedy recovery!

Wow Troy! Are you involved with music now or will you be again soon? SO GREAT for building neural connection after stroke! If you have suggestions for next videos/exercises, I'm all ears 👂👍!

Hi Kirsten, my husband had a stroke and we have been watching your videos daily and Rick is very engaged in doing the exercises and is improving in so many areas . I read somewhere that using pool noodles are easy to grip and can be used to tap the beat to a song . Another suggestion was using the noodles to move the fingers on the affected arm up and down on the pool noodle, like to a music scale or counting . Have you done any videos on using pool noodles ? The noodles are cheap and one can just be cut to be a good length for two noodles . Do you have any advice on using pool noodles ? Any advice would be appreciated . Thanks Rose

Hello Rose! I have not heard of using a pool noodle but it makes great sense to me, and what a good idea! I have a couple of pool noodles floating around I think- I may play around and get a feel for what I could suggest in the way of an exercise. I’m so glad to hear about your husband’s progress! Please tell him thank you for watching and working along with me 🙏🙂
