Discovered The Dan at California Jam in April 1974 when Rikki Don’t Lose That Number was played on the PA. Saw them the first time at UCSB Rob Gym in Dec of that year (Jeff Pocaro, Victor Feldman, Michael McDonald who was unknown)…been a fan since, saw them twice more. LOVE their music!
In addition to Walter Becker, Donald Fagan and the Steely Dan entourage the addition of Michael McDonald at backup vocals makes Peg a soulful and timeless song.
Donald & Walter ( & Co. ) are Wizards from some other World. On the cutting~edge of Tech., with skill unequalled since. If we're ever to be visited by people from another World, this music is how we should greet them, I think.
Best I've ever heard John cover this solo, and I've heard Him play it a lot, between Steely Dan and the Dukes of September. Rest in peace, Walter Becker.
Thanks TK, ljust spent an hour watching your Dan videos, best hour of my whole week!
You just made my day !

They Pegged it with this Song! To turn a name like Peg into a Music Masterpiece is Pure Genius!

ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS OF ALL TIMES
Best I've ever heard John cover this solo, and I've heard Him play it a lot, between Steely Dan and the Dukes of September. Rest in peace, Walter Becker.
Michael McDonald looks like he's having fun this is one nice track🎶
He didn't have to carry the load. It looks like he was just having fun playing with a fellow legend.
Most definitely, Donald Fagan does Ray Charles at the piano. He isn't blind, but you'd think so from the wonderful movements.
Tkv. Right on time. As usual. Nicework
The two songs this and Riki he pours his soul out
My favorite song 🎵💕

Thank you for making videos for songs that dont have one
16 in 1976 first record I bought was the royal scam. Such great songs.
Especially when it was done by Steely Dan
Peg rock my world
A hit from kool hitmakers.
Together with The Eagles in Arhem the Netherlands. How lucky can one get.
I think it's the F'in briliant Larry Carlton on guitar.
Not too shabby here, even in the rough video...
Michael McDonald as a backup singer. Only Steely Dan.
