- Will we ever find out if there are more Mercedes or BMWs in Los Angeles? No, but I'm doing my best to help you find out.
New year, same cars driving terribly. Do I think people will start driving better this decade you ask? HAHAHAH, no. But I do think we will have self driving cars full automated by 2030 and I cannot wait for it. Maybe then we won't have to deal with as much craziness on the road, but until then my insurance keeps going up. Which I don't understand because I'm clearly a good driver, hence the videos.
And you better believe I uploaded two months in a row. Anyone else shocked?

5:23 the ambulance is never “supposed” to be first. It depends on a lot of different things. The accident can happen closer to a fire station or closer to where the available police are, etc. The closest ambulance may be on another call, so they would have to respond the next closest one. There might not be information from the person calling 911 about there people being injured, so the ambulance might not be called until others get there first. The ambulance may be in traffic or coming from the hospital. Could be a number of different reasons, but that’s just my perspective from being an EMT. Really enjoy your videos tho, keep it up!

Most of the time the fire department arrives before the ambulance, that's why most firefighters are trained EMTs and can provide life saving care until the ambulance arrives. In some states/cities, they're trained in ALS, or advance life saving procedures.
All these pampered people. You dont want to pay taxes and still expect wide roads and unhindered passage.
Those green light sitters were unbelievable! Not to mention the slowpoke on the windy road and the driver who doesn’t know how to back out of a spot.
LA traffic looks nuts. No wonder some people get so impatient there.

5:18 - the ambulances in Major cities are often so over burdened that they have to stack calls on top of each other causing them to be as you said “late to the party”. That’s why the Fire truck is there because they often are trained in emergency medical practices to start care until they can get there. So in conclusion only call an ambulance if you really need one because of incidents like this that they need to be at.
I'm an L.A. driver and you capture daily driving perfectly. I always thumb up your vids.

Were any of these clips recorded after New Years? If so I don’t think the drivers are getting better. Especially all those trucks who park where they want.
This helps remind me of one of the reasons I'm glad I live on the other end of I-40. That traffic, all those lousy drivers, and you pay $1.60 a gallon for gas more than we do! I was in LA a couple of years ago and was really surprised how much I enjoyed downtown (Angles Flight, the Grand Central Market, the Dragnet building... er city hall. All very cool, but the traffic!
My commute is about 50 miles each way. Four traffic lights, takes me less than an hour.
Was in LA last week... It was exactly like I expected

OMG! I used to live in Paramount and then in Fullerton. Traffic was always so bad no matter what. Full of inconsiderate drivers. Then all of us, my family, moved up here to Portland, OR a while ago and now there are tons of rich Californians moving here and establishing themselves here. The traffic here has become what I was used to in Cali. What a pain in the neck. As it is, Oregonians are not used to so much traffic so this becomes an issue. They get nervous and brake a lot! Which of course, coming from L.A. and Fullerton, is rather frustrating for us who come from Cali and deal with drivers who are not used to driving in this type of traffic. In the end I feel your frustration when it comes to traffic and idiot drivers.

So basically California drivers went to Russia for driving school.

In Michigan we have several lights only one car goes through, like really. I live in a college town and it gets hectic real fast.

When you're so far back from a green light, it takes time for the movement to get to you. When you're in a left turn lane, especially one that also allows you to go straight, you need to expect stops. Yes, even at green lights.

No, the ambulance isn't always first - nor does it need to be. Especially if someone needs their door pried open to get them out - ambulance crew and paramedics don't do the door prying, fire fighters do. Emergency vehicles can use any of the street/road they can to get to the emergency location. If they're able to pick up their speed, even on the wrong side, then they just might be able to arrive sooner - which could mean life - if they arrive to late then it could mean death.

I'm subscribed to this channel because it's crazy how drivers act/react to different situations. This guy is in an area in which I might visit someday and might even be driving. I do my best to be 'traffic aware' anyways, but it can help to be prepared ahead of time, if possible. It'd be nice if those that record such videos as this were more respectful than those they complain so much about and capture on dash cam to share with anyone that decides to watch.

You really don't seem to understand the basic rules of the road. I don't have time to go through each of your items, but the first item, the other driver did not execute proper lane changes. Failed to signal both times, entered the lanes late and after OP did, AND over a solid line (which isn't illegal but not recommended). *_"Maybe they're talking to each other!"_* Doesn't matter. Analysis, no. Observations, yes. You'd be wrong... I'm a better driver than the guy that does these videos - and plenty similar videos done on other similar named channels (of the ones I've watched thus far).
It's obvious you CAN'T "refute" anything I said. I most definitely do know "the basic rules of the road." That is NOT what my initial comment is about nor referring to. Everything I said is strictly regarding this guys ridiculous complaining and has NOTHING to do with his driving unless I use specific wording implying as such. Sarcasm is ridiculous and I will not recognize it as such. Absolutely nothing I said is "irrelevant" at all.
FACT: Backed-up traffic is just that. It happens. No law can control backed-up traffic. It's not an excuse, it's a valid fact.
