How many times do I have to be cut off in a day? The limit doesn't exist. I'm genuinely exhausted, even today as I was going to work this guy literally went out of his way to roll down his window, pull up next to me, and flip me off. I literally just acted like I was taking a picture of him with my phone and he stopped real quick and tried to drive away. Obviously, we're stuck in traffic so he basically moved 1/4 of a car length. If you want to be nasty be ready to play the game.
Just like I said at the end of my video, in semi bad quality sorry about that, I swear there isn't any justice. Although nothing is quite satisfying like doing something completely illegal in front of a cop and seeing them get pulled over. Ahhh, instant karma is just sweeter. Anyways, I’m not convinced anyone ever gets pulled over for casually driving awful such as running red lights or making the worst lane change / merges of their lives.
I will say that if you get a red-light ticket in LA as long as you don’t look up the number in the system you don’t have to pay the ticket. Even if this just helps one of you one day I think this knowledge is important haha, look it up!

The way they drive out there, you'd think the traffic lights, traffic signs and pavement markings are only there for decoration!
Tell that to the drivers and theyd say they are. Most of the people driving in LA dont care ticket costs and do dumb stuff and look at careful drivers like their stupid. Worst time is morning when ppl wake up late and they cut u off left and right. Im so glad i moved

Edward Miessner literally. I remember the first few times I drove in LA, I thought I was going to die. Still feels more safe driving in Mexico and South America. They speed like hell, ignore signs and lane lines don’t matter, but somehow they are safer drivers.

I think this was the most sedate bad driving I’ve ever seen on UA-cam ! You really are a cool guy when it comes to dealing with them - no shouting, no exasperation, no horn honking etc.
How do you manage that ?
I can’t drive but being a pedestrian and public transport user, I’ve had my fair share of bad drivers and bad passengers - you wouldn’t believe how many people can be really thick not to realise I need to sit down on a bus as I’m on crutches. I’ve even fell on peoples laps before now to prove my point !

I was once stopped at the lights. The car next to me rolled its window down and the passenger asked did “I want any, coke, meth, ket or E?” My response was “no thank you officer” 🚔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🏳️🌈🇬🇧

Great video brother, I used to live in LA too and I feel your pain. Now I live in Las Vegas and most people drive normal, thank God. But here and there I find a crazy driver, but most of the crazy ones have California license plates, just don't get why they drive like this. I had to install dashcams on my cars cause of all the things are happening now days!!!!

Very good defensive driving. At the end of the day, you can't control others behavior, but you can control how you react. No ego battles or retaliation/"fuck you" honking. Horns should be reserved for immediate threats to life or property. Otherwise, you are only encouraging further unnecessary confrontation. It's very hard sometimes to keep that restraint when someone is so selfish and irresponsible. Very good driving

Traffic has been horrendous all over the LA area today due to the wildfires. It’s gonna be a crazy few days as these wildfires happen.
As a native Angelino, I can assure that a majority of the drivers in these video are not from LA. People in LA do, in fact know how to drive. We usually drive 80 on the freeways, know what streets are better options than others (want to go to the beach, ignore the 10 and take Venice Blvd). People from LA don't drive like maniacs because we don't want to risk messing up our car.

First, yes, you should absolutely continue making these videos. Yours are among the very best, so keep it up! Secondly, I try to avoid checkpoints like the plague. I almost got nabbed at one even though I was sober. I posted the video on my channel awhile back. The officer said my pupils looked small. Well duh! There was smoke in the air scattering sunlight making everything really bright. He conducted one test on me and then kept asking if I was taking any medication. I hadn't taken any and he kept asking if I was sure of my answer. It was scary and highlights how overzealous cops can be with looking for DUI. A lot of innocent people have been arrested. I'm considering getting an app that shows any checkpoints and then to avoid them. Police officers aren't adequately trained to determine DUI with better accuracy in a lot of cases. There are a lot of medical, environmental and physical conditions that can cause "symptoms" that mimic DUI symptoms. Sometimes after a long hike, sunscreen runs into my eyes and makes them red and bloodshot. That's the LAST thing I need if going through a checkpoint. The police need better training and tests to discriminate DUI from other conditions. And field sobriety tests are a joke. Even most sober people can't ace them. They are a setup for failure.
I was driving the other day and stopped at an intersection. All of the sudden a motorcycle cop pulls up next to me. The left turn lights are left turn only and the girl on the other side u-turned right in front of me and the motorcycle cop. He instantly pulled her over. I was laughing so hard. Moron!

I drive around the same areas you do, so I’m always checking your videos to see if I see myself hahaha. I have one golden rule, “No signal light, no entry.” I don’t care if they’re scooting into my car they can hit me and it will be their fault. That’s my biggest pet peeve.

This video is the most relatable video ever for driving in LA. If you stay in your lane and dont move cars WILL hit you. You can redo your whole car in a year from how dumb people are. New door new paint new bumper. EVERYTHING

I am a truck driver and honking in la is a risk especially in poor areas because they will pull out a gun.
I have seeing people from poor areas pulling out guns over a minor honk.
Never use your horn on someone that is driving a poor car in la because they come from rough neighborhoods and they won’t hesitate to shoot

Right! I had to go through one when I was visiting LA a few years ago I was so scared even though I was sober. I know there is a large problem with drinking and driving here in Cali but something else should be done.

The majority of bad driving I see, is cell phone related.
The majority that I see is people thinking they are somehow more important than the rest of the traffic. The light is red? Oh, well, I'm in a hurry so I'm not stopping. There's no such thing as courtesy anymore.

To answer your question, yes it needed to be shut down for that. How nervous are you while inside a car with the idiots that are on the road? Now imagine being on foot, in the middle of a interstate, with all of your attention on treating someone who is injured while those same idiots are still on the road.
If shutting down multiple lanes is needed to give responders a safe environment, shielded from impatient asshats that care nothing about anyone but themselves, then im all for them doing it.

Every large city has its fair share of bad drivers.
It doesn't even have to be a large city. Suburban driving is starting to get pretty rough too.. too many distractions and people who think they're entitled to drive.

2:11 not illegal, you can go on Red lights all way as long as you have already stopped FULLY, plus going over double solid yellow lines if you're turning into a driveway is the only legal way to pass them. I have a similar situation out in front of my work and I kept ruining it for the highway patrol that used to write tickets for turning into our parking lot, they stopped after a few months of winning zero of them in court. Traffic lights and paint don't stop your right to travel they're there to guide you to safer execution of those rights and establishes right of way liability.
