- Опубліковано 6 кві 2021
- Istanbul Turkey is heaven for all food lovers and adventure seekers. The Turkish breakfast and Turkish coffee are famous around the world for very good reason. Let me show you what makes this the perfect way to start the day in Turkey. In this video, I’ll take you through the most visited area in Istanbul. This is where the historic Galata Tower and Istiklal Caddesi are located. I highly recommend stopping by here even if it's only for a short layover!

☀️G E T T O K N O W ME
Hi,
I am Jimmy, I left my career in the military to become a full-time traveler, documenting my memories along the way. Kicked off traveling in September 2017 with $4000 in my savings account and first started publishing my journey. Traveling and being able to work wherever I love ( as long as there are Wi-Fi and coffee)
Was this accurate? Did you see the experience the same!?

İ agree. İ lived in Turkey and will again. İ loved walking the streets of İzmir before the day started. Okay, İzmir is not İstanbul, but still. Turkey is an incredible place, never boring. I'm sure you'll miss it when you leave.
Our experiences are not the same because Turkish people aren't allowed outside like foreigners are, you know, because of the damn pandemic that you seem to forget about while you travel and put people at risk. Fucking bellend.
@@ndahadelos Yes, that's tough. It will be nice to travel again. I've been staying in way too much, curfew or no curfew. I'm sure you'll get the vaccine and be just fine. On the other hand, don't worry too much about getting the virus. I'm nearly 60 and tested positive around the new year. It wasn't any worse than getting a bad case of influenza. Besides, if you do get it, your immune system will get stronger and you'll have the anti-bodies naturally. That's a good thing.
Hello. I hope you are very well and having a great time. I'm really enjoying your videos. If you like yoghurt and doner kebab you should try iskender it's my favourite kebab. Your friends and you are really lovely. you seem like really good people. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. X
I miss the rich Turkish Food culture, delicious food and Turkish breakfast when I go abroad. The food culture of Greece is partially similar to the 'pot' dishes with olive oil and vegetables that we prepare at home, but they also lack spices and kebab types from the Middle East, and butter roasted herbs, pickles and 'pide' (not pita) types come from the Black Sea region.
In addition, it is difficult to find such a rich variety of delicious soups when abroad, each of which can replace a main dish.
That Turkish breakfast was next level dude 🔥
It really was!
Thank you man.Our door is always open
Hey Brother! I'm from Brazil🇧🇷 Istanbul is beautiful💞! Great Channel!
It really is! such a fun place, like brazil!
İstanbul is a great choice . History, food, culture ,atmosphere all worth the money. İ am sure you will leave pleasured .
It really is!
Istanbul has it all: over 2500 years of history, culture, and traditions, amazing landmarks, vibrant nightlife, and breathtaking views. This transcontinental metropolis is a fast-paced cultural melting pot you can't afford to miss.
Its a beautiful place
always pumping out quality pal
Ahhh i thought this one was bad hahah
Everyone I know cannot wait to go back to Turkey after their first visit 👍 Turkish people originated from North Eastern Asia and this is why Turkish is in the same language group as Korean for instance. And yes they act and look like Europeans as Turkey is literally the bridge between Europe and Asia. Turkish coffee/tea, the food, the culture, the history (just google Ataturk), the people, the super clean blue sea, the endless sandy beaches...👌
❤️ You are welcome Nina
3:01 it is borek. Actually it has egg. We use egg while making borek.
Ingredients:
8 water glass flour,
5 eggs,
1 teaspoons salt,
some warm water,
half a pound of cheese,
half a bunch parsley,
oil
Thank you for letting me know!
@@DivertLiving Eggs in the dough, it's smilar to Lasagne but made diffrently and made filo pastry in to "Borek" instead.
Called "Su Boregi"
This is really inspiring ❤️🔥 Love from India 🇮🇳 and Japan 🇯🇵
Thank you so much!
I saw that you also visited Kazakhstan! Did you know that Turkish and Kazakh people are both Turkic people hence related to each other? You should definitely visit Azerbaijan Baku next! The turkic world will welcome you as they have done with foreigners for millenia as the guardians of the silk road and iron road! Stay safe!😊
I really do want to visit there!

@@DivertLiving oi did you leave :/
Lovely Video👌. Thank you So Much for another Great escape ☘✌.
Really enjoyed the tour with you dear friend
Beautiful city, thank you for the video
Great to see your video again, waiting for more.
Coming next week!
My favorite takeaways. Turkish breakfast looks like a Turkish food coma! And the Turkish shawarma sounds like a chicken cheeseburger burrito, lol! Stay safe and stay awesome!
Thank you so much! It was so tasty
This thing "shawarma" belongs to neither Turkish nor any other Turkic cuisines. It is a so poor imitation of Turkish döner by made some arabs. We (Turkic people) do not prefer that kind of so spicy, so salty, so oily, -probably- stale and non-hygienic meals. Even the word "shawarma" is the poor imitation of Turkish word "çevirme" too.
@@lilatomrissoze6237 DONT BE A RACIST !!!!!!! don't be a nationalist!!!!

Visit urban areas, beach towns, historical sites, etc. It's lovely in here except in summer. Summer is absolutely terrifying, as early as June, due to humidity, it feels around 40-45 degrees celcius outside.
My country 🇹🇷❣️...
The typical extensive Turkish breakfast normally includes much more ingredients. I believe you were served a mild one because the place you went to doesn't seem to be a genuine spot for breakfast. Besides, of course, because of the Covid, they might have to take precautions such as serving packed food so their options are limited.
And also, the reason you got a 10 TL discount on that purse is that if you use cash instead of a credit card, the sale is not registered, thus they don't have to pay tax for the sale.
Tam gurme cikti 😎👍
The thing that you ate at first is a kind of pastry which is called "Su Böreği" and it contains cheese 🤣
WHAT!? Really!
Yes, it's kashar cheese, which is a kind of mozzarella or parmesan 🙏
Also it's contains approximately 5 eggs 🤣
i’ve been to Istanbul on the European side it’s so good over there
Fishing with a camera bag 🙌🏽
Had to catch some dinner!
3:01 it is "börek" 😂
Great video man, I've been wondering about how Istanbul is going for people. I've never been and I don't know much beyond what is readily available online.
I'm thinking about heading to Istanbul for a few weeks starting in June if they swap to proof of vaccine as being acceptable.
I'd like to visit Istanbul & the Balkans in one trip.
Turkey 👍👍👍
Amazing love from turkey 🦃 🇹🇷❣️
Thank you so much!

Great video man, do you have the name of the place you purchased the wallet?

of course it's worth
i think the one you thought had egg was "su böreği" :D
İt's not a hate message but i'm just wanna say that, you should see Anatolia side Turkey is not just İstanbul. Even most people think Istanbul of capital Turkey,it's sad :( Anatolia is underrated 😔
I really want to see it there!
we do not call it shawarma, it's döner kebap...
I am so lucky you have Indonesian subtitle
I made them just for you!

I have been twice in Istanbul. One of my favourite place in the world. Since watching this video I miss this place more. Could you enter Turkey even during covid?
To bad we didn't have footage of Itamar getting hit by a taxi before the Turkish breakfast 🤣🤣🤣
I know hahahaha
💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏🙏
It's DÖNER, not shawarma :D You should drink ayran with it, it would help you about spice :)
How did you find that music around 2.34 haha
shhhhhhh🤫
Nice Vlog and great Breakfast ))) but Its not shawarma its "Döner" you ca have it in "dürüm" ( wrap ) or in Bred ( Ekmek ) or the Originaly at the Dish with yoghurt souse and butter etc... called "Iskender Kebap" and Döner is the Original it cames to the Arabic Countrys and the Balkan Countrys after the Ottomans ... because of it you can find this and many Turksh dishes in many Countrys where are before in Influence of the Ottonmans .
I was about to comment the same thing
Aww im so so sorry! I didnt know this!

Out of curiosity, how do you get all the drone shots in your videos within cities? Are you using 3rd party videos or taking them yourself? There are so many times I want to fly my drone when traveling but I'm always paranoid about local authorities.
Well, you basically answered my question by not answering my question.....
5:10 "Erotik Shop" lol
shawarma is arabic version of döner. döner is pretty popular in balkans and some european countries such as Germany.
O yediğiniz döner dürüm 👍
🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🙋❤️🧡🥰🤗
Lol I guess it was a su böreği 😅 and after breakfast what u was eating is döner.shawarma belongs to middle east and most Arabic country's in turkey they call it döner and eu and usa u know it's gyro
Shawarma is a turkish dish though... called çevirme. As the arabian languages only have 3 vowels, they aren't able to pronounce it :D
Çevirmen and Döner both closely translate to "Turning around"...
Simple name, awesome dish!
🇹🇷
can u do a video about apt. and location and price.
As a Turkish Our breakfast like dinner 🤣.
