I can't tell but from the video it looks like some of his drawers aren't opening all the way. I had the same issue. All you have to do is open the drawer till it stops and then give it a firm slow pull and it'll open the rest of way. Only have to do it once per slide. My guess there is a build up of grease in the back keeping it from opening all the way. Helps if you do one side of the drawer at a time. Absolute game changer for me
Love the Tekton ratchets. Swapped out my Snap on ratchets with them. The comfort grip seems to fit my hand better. I’m an HD mechanic since 1980 and have been a Snap on guy from the beginning. The new mechanics have it so much better than we did. You can buy quality tools cheap, and not have to sell your soul to the tool truck. Like all of us old dudes had to.
I have that same ruler and didn’t know what the heck it was for. It makes sense because It belonged to my grandpa and he was a retired engineer from GM. The one I have is a Sterling slide rule
When I was in high school......talking late 60s here..... I had a drafting class. While I did not exactly master it, I was pretty handy with a slide rule. I still it but probably haven't touched in in 50 years.
Another good tour. 👍‼️ I always wonder if these home shop guys have tool truck guys easily available or if they have to chase them around town. Try to include that question maybe❓
@@RIDEONDIRT14thanks for the quick reply. I was still watching the video! I’m a retired electrician but I’m fond of snap on so if I want something I have to turn into a stalker 😂
I have multiple sets of those Craftsman Professional wrenches, they are absolutely fantastic, the first couple generations were made by SK, with the later made by Danher.
Cool video! I own mostly snap on and Matco stuff. But I will say that after I took a chance on tekton I have become a fan! Bought some 12 points for taking engines apart and they’re great. They handle torque and they grab great!!!
@@ToolBoxTour I’m loving the socket storage they have. Just ordered some holders for my sae stuff to actually fit it in my top compartment of my cart. Wish you could see it man it’s freaking legit!
I wonder how many of us vets use our old heat guns for work today? Vets date themselves when they claim to have polished boots during their service time.
Does Richard have a UA-cam channel I feel like I know him or seen him somewhere as usual great video you have shown me something I have to have or you cost me money more tools please keep them coming thanks 👍😎👍
@@ToolBoxTour your right, mountain usually cheapest, but unless you buy off tool truck its almost impossible to get warranted. platinum and sometimes k tool is found and warranted on truck, of coarse Icon is harbor freight if you choose to deal with brick and morter store and dont have access to truck. The cornwell set is the highest comeing in at over $400
Wilde makes pry bars for menards, channel lock, hyper tough, tekton which are pretty much same except for color & some are easier to get warranted than others.

The one key word this guy said Tool boxes dont make you any money it just holds tools and he would rather spend money elsewhere I just have a HF full tech holds majority of tools i dont use daily on the side a milwaukee packout 3drawer that holds miscellaneous and hardly used tools my daily cart is an ironton sliding top didnt spend much on carts etc but the tools i can buy is where the money makers are
Hello, we're ONOWTE, a manufacturer of Camera Systems. Now, we are looking for partners to test and review our camera system and of course it's paid. Are you interested in getting a sample to review and working with us? I had emailed you some further details and looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
That little bolt head finder, OLSA has been inundating me with adds for one they sell Ln47acf, got a pair to use on planes a couple wewks ago....INVALUABLE. Id buy them again for double

Good catch! and thanks for the tip!
I tried this in the store, works!

Yeah the options everyone has today is great.
Thank you for your service
Thanks for watching John!
Great set up! Thank you for your service and thank you for my freedom!
I really appreciate the model numbers. I've found a lot of cool tools I didn't know about from your channel.
Glad I could help!
This was a lot of fun.
Thanks for watching!
I love seeing the home fabricated tools. That punch holder is great!
Had a problem, and solved it!
Thank you, Mr. Richard, for your service! Cool stuff, nice and neat toolbox and shop. Thank you for sharing!
Love how the Snap-On ball joint add-on package, costs more than Icon's entire 'knock-off' BJ press kit, lol
Forged vs cast. When you are putting that much load on something might be best to fork over the cash if you value your health.
The reversible Gearwrench wrenches IMO can’t be beat.
this guy is trying to hypnotize me with those eyes😂
Coolest dude ever
Nice home box set up

Cool you were able to learn that in school. Id like to learn how to use one someday.

I got my snap on reps #, so I just call and set up a time and place to meet him

@unwired1281 you can buy online direct
My Snapon truck just comes to an auto shop down the street from my house, in a sleepy little town.
Always learn something in these vids.
Thanks for sharing.

I have multiple sets of those Craftsman Professional wrenches, they are absolutely fantastic, the first couple generations were made by SK, with the later made by Danher.
Cool to hear they hold up well. I haven't seen many tech with them.
Those hard handles are awesome!
Right? I prefer them over the comfort grips.
Those old Craftsman professional wrenches are really good, they were made by SK.
Glad to hear people having good luck with them.
Great video ,really nice bloke and a military man to
Great tool box tour
Glad you liked it!
Awesome guy. Great video
Can you do more heavy equipment tool box tour and service truck tool and fabrication tool box tour
More to come!

Yeah Tekton has made some really good stuff lately. I hear no complaints from guys that buy from them.

I don't believe he has a UA-cam channel. But he should definitely start one! He has a ton of great content with the fabrication he does.
@@ToolBoxTour thank you
I was thinking "we got C-A-L Ranches here in Utah, too", but I guess he's not in Utah.
VERY smart guy.
Totally agree. I should have shown more of the build he was on. It was awesome!
Kabo makes those carlyles as well as matco, platinum, icon, cornwell k tool & the mountains
Funny how different brands charge different prices for the same set.

Of coarse Carlyle is sold thru Napa auto parts stores.

Yep! I'm way more impressed with a HF box filled with Snap on tools than a Snap-on box filled with HF tools. Always nice to find a balance on things.
Love your videos so much,!! Noticed you arw doing the glitch editing like some other youtubers its hard on the eyes!
Glitch editing? Sorry can you elaborate? Thanks for watching though!
Wow !!! You two guys are making me feel OLD !!! You are looking at a slide rule, and don't know what it is !!!
Haha I hope to learn how to use one someday.
Ramboard also works great for templates
Good to know!
The Icon sockets, can buy them calling Harbor Freight.
Good to know!
Dude is a dude from American movies

How much would equivalent SnapOn box cost? I guess somewhere around 14k?
SnapOn box, stainless top, and hutch is closer to $20k.
