You must deep dive into Red Velvet’s discography..their b-sides not just their title tracks cuz they do have some retro funk/disco type of songs. They have a nice groove as well as the vocals being gorgeous as ever. But yeah the producers that participated in composing/arranging the song is Swedish. So there is a lot of ABBA/funk/disco influences in the song. It’s also fitting cuz MIDSOMMAR is a Swedish folklore/tradition.
