YEAH, I'm crackin' up, esp. when they said i looked like a wedding/ sweet, etc. ha! If these 3 knew how demonically horrific (yet, amazingly well done) this movie is based off of, they would've winced through the whole thing, recalling the uber mind-f*cking scenes Midsommar used to shock-&-awe everyone lol.~
@fallinoutad8476 😂 Yep. There was a scene where they showed the persons neck glowing red. And then later the girls were dancing while a ball.of red light came down. Sun god summoning ritual??? 😂
Yeah, I'm guessing it's confusing if you don't get all the references. It's okay if you guys haven't seen Midsommar. (It's not like you *have to*, it's psychological horror and it's full of hard-to-digest scenes, which you can see here in the mix of scenes going from flowers and fresh air to straight up blood and sacrifice.)
Cosmic is pretty much my favourite in the album. The chorus has been stuck in my mind since it dropped.
The way this song has pulled me in. So bright yet still chilling. Cult RV back as usual 🔥watching this MV is the closes to the horror movie illustration get. Scared me too much 😂
I see many folks already beat me in recognizing the Midsommar references in the video. RV has done dark stuff like this before. Think “Peek-a-boo”.
I like the flow of this EP. It’s definitely something to play on a road trip.

The MV looks beautiful. The track sounds great.
I will say no need to know the Midsommar references but personally it made this music 100x more eerie listening to it know what the music video is about. Makes it less cute romancey and more hidden meanings, a calm sort of possessiveness maybe?

The music in the beginning reminds me of the guitar in the chorus of Attention by Charlie Puth and the strings in the chorus remind me of I will Survive by Gloria Gaynor (the part that Ive sampled for After Like).
The beginning honestly reminded me of Le sserafim's Fearless. No hate it just reminded me of it.

I like the story and the script but no matter how much I research I can't figure out what a Sanziene, Siren, Dryad, Naiad, Oceanid, Nereid or nymph what they are
SM is for sure fucking up!! Same shit bound to happen to aespa once they grow older as a group and have debuted for a long time. Since SM tends to toss them aside after a certain amount of time even if theyre one of the most popular groups just cuz theyre gonna cost more to promote 😭
What’s crazy is that this is a he weakest song on the EP. Midsommer is basically about a cult that every summer they sacrifice someone to have eternal sunlight it’s a horror movie so it’s not really a chill video lol
