Bird Toys

While taking the video my fears re-emerged when I didn’t properly secure a toy.
For many years I’ve had doubts regarding bird toys.
Many years back I had a bad experience when my bird nail gotten caught on a nylon rope, luckily I was home and the bird wasn’t severely hurt.
I also had doubts about bacteria buildup and ingesting toy particles.
The idea of loosing my bird lingered in my mind for many years, so 15 years ago I stopped using bird toys.
Since today I’m able to spend more time with my birds, I will once again try it out.
But while taking the video my fears re-emerged when I didn’t secure a toy properly and a baby and the toy dropped to the bottom.
“The baby wasn’t hurt”
This was another learning experience.
