Been seeing similar lip colors that are popular in China and Korea as well. I think the main thing, though, is they like to blur out the edges while keeping it dark in the middle. Thus, it makes the color not so dark overall.

I feel like cool-toned makeup is easier to pull off if you're super fair, which seems to be the ideal in E Asia. 🤷🏻♀️ Stuff I also have: Dare to Bare. I only pull it out in the winter when my skintone goes to light bc it's pretty cool-toned. Normally I wear the warmer She's A Natural and use it the way u described - as a base and w a SS. Those all-matte quads were the best - so buttery and blendable!! I got 4 backups of She's A Natural when I saw they were being discontinued. That's Taupe. I have Nude Mood, which I felt was a bit too orange in the one shimmer and too red-brown in the darker mattes, so ordered Going Coconuts to see if I it would be more flattering, and That's Taupe to see if the cool tones would work on me. Even tho we have similar skintones and in ur reviews u liked That's Taupe more, I was super surprised I had the same reaction. Going Coconuts was dull looking on me, but That's Taupe looked really good, even while I was I still a light-med bc of the undertones. Ultra glittery SS - I have a few that I never use bc they're too glittery. 😅 I like the medium glitter ones and more satin-y ones bc I use SSs for quick work looks. I feel like this little "episode" of the top 10 series really fits my kind of aesthetic. Mauvy cooler purply/neutral tones are my favorite for cheek and lip products. And I love cooer tone makeup even though sometimes I find it difficult to apply sometimes. Your videos always seem to spark my imagination and interest when I do my makeup looks and practice on my own. And you inspire me to try different styles and colors. the jellymuch shadows are waterbased so filtered water and a good mix should be enough to revive them!! ive done this a few times and it worked just fine

it's a bit of a misconception about china actually that selling in china = not cruelty free! china only requires animal testing for products that they export out! so if only sold domestically or for products imported in, they can still be cruelty free :)

personal preference but i like the glitter sticks for cause they are easy to apply! but ss is more versatile as u can use it as shadow + liner!
