I love the quads too I bought a whole pack of them two Black Friday days ago and haven't used all of them yet but everyone I've used I loved have to be careful with them because the shimmers do tend to break
I really enjoyed this ranking!! My all time favorite palette is probably Whatever and California Love. I love rich, warm fall tones. I don’t like the pressed glitters in them through so I depoted those and replaced with additional mattes, and now they are perfect. ❤ I have my conspiracy theory too that packaging affects the formula of their eyeshadows! I do believe the formula of small round pans and larger round pans are different. I prefer the smaller pans over larger ones because mattes are more softly pressed and shimmers are more of traditional foiled metallics. And I do think the mattes in plastic quads are some of the best formula from Colourpop. I don’t know why but the mattes in those palettes are so pigmented. Perhaps that’s why they break very easily. I never thought of how the palettes with mirror and textured packaging are different from others. I’ll pay more attention to them next time I pull them out!
My favourite CP palettes are All Amethyst and Aurora Struck, and more recently Pretty Please. They are the most cool-toned-friendly ones they have ever released. Limoncello was the first palette I bought mainly for the packaging but I can still use about half of it and the quality is truly gorgeous! I'm not surprised you like it so much 💛
They had the Star Wars available in a bundle and couple weeks ago so I ordered it again. I got it when it first released and used it so much I destroyed it. 🤣 Limoncello is also a favorite. My two all time favorites are Good Sport and then the one that made me obsessed with Colourpop for awhile, the Yes, Please palette. I remember the hype on that one. It's old AF now, but I still use mine. So far no troubles. Great video!

You aren't missing much. Except for Lust for Dusk, if you like the shades it's one of their best, very neutral but still interesting color story. I've bought a few from them and have mostly regretted them and have decluttered but this one is the only one I've kept and still enjoy.
I agree :( their palettes are so hit and miss. Some of their palettes have amazing quality and colors, and others are SO dry and fade so fast. It’s unfortunate cause you never know what you’re gonna get

Since I sometimes struggle with impulse control, I just ordered the CP Eyeshadow Mystery Box about an hour ago where I fully expect to be disappointed with what comes in. 😂 Hoping it's some good ones and not just the stuff that they can't get rid of, but either way, it's always fun to anticipate makeup mail. And YES--it's so strange that you can basically predict the formula based off which packaging they use.

At Forest Sight, the collab with RawBeautyKristi, is my favorite Colourpop palette! The colorstory is great and the quality is probably the best I've ever tried from Colourpop! 😄

My top favorites: Trouble Maker, 12 pan Star Wars palette, Sweet as Hunny, Not a Box of Chocolates, Limoncello, Plush Like Me, California Love, Wine & Only. I love the 12 pan Star Wars so much that I actually bought 2 of them.

My favourite ColourPop palettes are the Limoncello, Plush Like Me, That's Taupe and Lil' Ray of Sunshine. I reach for these all the time and I love them so much. I also love the Gather Round Sisters palette but I keep that as more of a decor piece and for the memories and you can pry it from my cold dead hands.
I've heard so many people rave about it, which frankly surprised me since it's all brown--must be a stellar formula! (Curious which is better--Not a Box of Chocolates or the Juvia's Place Coffee Shop palette.)

The plush like me palette formula is the very best formula colorpop has ever done. I found that same extraordinary formula on the five quints they release two christmas ago and the horoscope quad three years ago. I wish they work only that formula on all of the palettes.
You won't get a syte in your eye..those old palettes are dry, no mould, kept clean and stored in a clean dry place, they basically last forever...I literally have 2 old quads, 40 yrs old, and every so often, I still use them without any eye problems what so ever (all I have is a bit of hardpan and have to give it a bit of a brush with my spoolie....) modern 'clean' make-up with no preservatives are more likely to go off and give you mould and eye infections!!!

I went on a Colourpop spree a few years ago! But my all-time favorite pallet is That's Taupe. I've used that pallet more than any other pallet ever. In the Aurora Struck pallet, the So Lit shimmer.... oh my goodness, stole my heart. I adore that shade. It's gorgeous. So highend feeling.
My favorite Colourpop's palettes are always the ones with an interesting color story as opposed to the monochromatic ones. Lush Life is a favorite, Gather Round Sisters, and Lust for Dusk get reached for a lot.
Love a lot of their palettes but end up just keeping ones I love in magnetic palettes-only used half of their mega palettes. My fav one just repurchased was sweet talk.

I was curious why they didn’t do an R2-D2 palette. It would’ve been better than that awful PML palette with the stickers on it. Tacky as! I’m a Star Wars nerd. The quality of the palettes I have are really nice! I’m in Australia so getting CP is a bit challenging (read expensive) but as a bought a bundle, and got free international shipping, it wasn’t too bad.
Love this ranking. The palettes I share in common with you are Aurora Struck, Lush Life, Star Wars (#2) and i have two of their little quads, Citrine You and Me and Get em Tiger. I enjoyed looking at your CP collection!
I think I have only two CP palettes, Bare Necessities and Going Coconuts. The mega palette is the one I use more, even though sometimes I’m overwhelmed with options. Love this series!
Hi Rachel. Great idea. I think for the most part, Colourpop does a really nice job on their eyeshadows, especially for the price. I love the 11:11 palette. Super nice shades. That's Taupe is one of my all time favorites. And like you, I usually prefer a warmer palette. I wish they'd make a smaller version of the Bare Necessities palette. The quads are nice, but yup, they're easily breakable. Oh no. Sorry. Hope you were able to get the shadow out of the carpet. Ugh. My favs: That's Taupe, Flutter By, Smoke N' roses, and Stone Cold Fox. ❤❤
