Question. How can Plato, Socrates, all others etc, be saved by Christian salvation before Christian salvation existed? Surely every single human being born before the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is in Limbo then???
Inside are the "virtuous pagans" such as Socrates, Homer, Aristotle and Plato, who achieved great things in life but were never exposed to Christian salvation.
@@TheExplainer22 also, limbo is sort of stop gap place, for souls to wait until either judged good for ascension or bad for Hell. Honestly, Dante's Limbo is much better place than Hades realm for Plato and Socrates bunch, means God gave them right to be accepted one day even though not Christian, or so I see it from the book.
I think people sometimes forget that Dante's Inferno is just one part of The Divine Comedy, which is biblical fanfic, but it's not officially canon.
