I've watched COUNTLESS videos of beautiful and luxurious boats on UA-cam. The review of this boat has overwhelmingly convinced me that I've finally seen the boat for ME!!! :) (I hope SWMBO agrees)
Well if you put on grease there is nothing that stays locked in place, so it's a choice between squeky parts or spontaniously moving parts, to lubricate or not it's a freedom of choice.
There was only one part that squeaked .to me that's a non issue . not all the parts he moved plus you failed to mention the background noise that thr mic is picking up from nearby ..
@@anderspersson7084 not true. Latching mechanisms can be greased freely to reduce friction (that's what causes noise) without hindering the operation of the latch itself.
Great boat not only for a couple but a single person. Very easy to dock and handle short handed. Would take one of the cabins and make it a storage cabin. Add a washer/dryer combo and a freezer and its more than a day or weekend boat. Its also a place where you can spend a week in it. Not bad price either.
Paulo Grinke I see that aspect of it, but it is such a departure from the express cruiser that I’m more familiar with, that it seems more like an RV then a boat.
@@OrganistRichardBunbury true. Its like a vw van and transform it into a camper. Would like to see one without the flybridge to see what the interior would look like.
@@paulogrinke7020 without the flybridge the interior is exactly the same as with the flybridge. Only difference is the lack of stairs in the cockpit and you get two sliding glass hatches in the roof. Personally I think I prefer it without the flybridge. Saves 20k, less weight on top, and that flybridge is more of an external driving position than somewhere to spend the time at anchor anyway.

I've bought this boat in 2020, changed the extra small and made it within the master cabin for a separate master bathroom. ended up paying 232k total & it is worth it
Some big boat features in a small boat, and a very efficient use of space for a reasonable price. Great review. Great boat. Will be adding it to my short list, which also has a Sargo 36 and a Nord Star 31 on it.
best designed cruiser ever. great review. needs a lid for the top, a seakeeper gyro, triple outboards with garmin autopilot, fly by wire, joystick control etc for that price
For me, it would be a 45 foot trawler yacht powered by twin diesels and I'd spend my summers cruising the fabulous Trent/Severn water way in Ontario, Canada. From Picton on Lake Ontario, you travel hundreds of miles through beautiful, scenic lakes and rivers AND pass through many locks, including the incredible Peterborough Lift Locks, all the way to Georgian Bay. You can even take "side trips" to connecting lakes. Plenty of places along the route to stop for supplies, fuel plus there are many waterfront restaurants, inns and campgrounds. An amazing trip. One point! Avoid mid-July to mid-August. It's the busiest time on the system and wait times at the locks can be long. Detailed charts are available from the Provincial government. Put THIS trip on your "bucket list." It's worth it. I'd take three weeks at least. p.s. You can even continue on to the magnificent North Passage of Manitoulin Island.
I'm thinking that in around 10 years time, 3D printing will come into boats and the price will drop significantly and this price will be for 55 footers. Well I hope so then I might be able to afford one
For those who think this is a bit pricey for them, the smaller Fisher range without flydeck but still enough for a couple, with good spec options for cooking etc., can be had for just over £60k.
Indeed a lot of boat for the money! However: that master bed mattress is sectioned off at the middle- doesn’t bode well for a smooth night! Question; any deck wash downs ? For the anchor ? Or at the swim platform? Air conditioning option? Thanks
@Alexander Tietze: Hugo does bang on about it but it's... "More space". A pair of D4's need more complex fitment etc etc. And the two F300's take up less space. The Americans love them and it's now the go to fitment for sub 10m boats. Also their petrol costs are peanuts compared to Europe but if you look at the consumption figures your wallet will empty in spectacular fashion at WOT. Great value, perhaps too much white plastic. But an undeniable bonus in living accommodation. So the question is how many did they sell at SBS 19 last month?
@@PhilbyFavourites I sold those MF outboards previously, now sell the competitor Swift Trawler inboard. Very different purposes. Yes the outboards are easier and less stress maintenance, give much more space inside, but are noisy and more expensive to run. inboards attract a different demographic as the trawler is semi displacement. I would go for MF1095 if i wanted speed on demand and to sleep more people. Trawler 30 for more extended cruising for long weekends etc.

The fact that a boat this size has 3 state rooms had me very interested. Saw it at the Miami boat show and was blown away how big of a joke the fit and finish was. I would rather a Bayliner or Rinker, no joke.
Agreed, the fit and finish on the Merry Fisher-range isn't its great. But it is Jeanneau´s budget-range of boats and gives a lot of boat for the money.
Personally, id prefer to buy a used 500k boat with 3 years on the clock for 200k Than, buying this boat brand new! Yes, its cheap, but you do get what you paying for!

Nice that there is something that is nice for less than $500K ....
That's a lot of boat for reasonable money. Looks good too
I like how everything is so reassuringly squeaky 😂
I can't understand why they are not using some grease when assembling the moving parts, this is really annoying.
Well worth 200k when they can't be arsed to use any grease.

would this be suitable for the using decently far from the shore too?
It's rated CE Category B for 8 persons, which means suitable for use offshore in winds of up to 40 knots and significant seas of up to 13 feet

could have made the rear just a tad longer so you dont have to slide the seats.
£200K some assembly required?
It looks so strange with the outboard engines on a typical inboard engine boat.
"The fly bridge is another 20k on top". Nice pun.
Nothing on the head!
Are these exposed engines easily stolen. Just curious.
mike ooi: if you can crane them off...... not one to tuck under your arm and do a runner. That limits you to stealing a 4 hp and that’s it.
Good loop boat whats her range
She should be good for around 200nm between top-ups at 10 knots
I would get claustrofobic in those tiny sleeping rooms
