Great boat! My pet peeve with these smaller boats is that why is the space-wasting cabinet necessary in the bathroom? For God sakes, what do you need to store there? Get rid of the cabinet on the right, recess the floor slightly and put in a shower curtain, so now you have a dry head with a proper shower. Put in a wall-mounted tiny sink somewhere, heck even on the shower area wall and save a lot of space. Have a wall shelf, mini cabinet, or rack above the toilet for the bathroom tissue, hand towel, toothpaste, etc. That's all you need in there. If you need anything else in there, you have issues, store it in your ditty bag in the berths.
I totally agree. This class of boat cannot be treated as a serious weekender ( or longer) without proper serviceable and comfortable shower facilities. Otherwise a very attractive boat.
Hi @pasjedawida6395. Thanks for your question. Cruising speed approximately 18 to 23 knots. Fuel consumption 50L to 60L per hour - both engines combined. So 25L to 30L per hour per engine. Accelerates fairly quickly up to around 35 knots.
Is this a boat that would be suited for crossing the English Channel, maybe even some more adventurous North Sea journeys? What's its limit? I appreciate in perfect conditions a small SIB can do those things, but realistically, is this a boat you'd expect to be able to do those without absolutely perfect conditions?
The Jeanneau Merry Fisher 895 s2 is rated CE Category C (inshore) for 10 people and B (offshore) for 6 people. We have multiple customers who undertake crossings to France or to the Channel Islands.
I’m not sure the interior design of the boat suits my taste, it’s utilitarian rather than tasteful. I do like some of the features, the bed that allows a side entry, turning captains chair, single glass front window.
Many thanks for your question! A license is required to operate the VHF radio and whilst there is no license required to pilot the boat, all skippers should be competent and able to navigate in a safe manner, with due care and attention and consideration for other persons. We would recommend all skippers are trained in basic navigation and piloting skills.

Think they are about £200k new.
I would like to ask about consumption because i can’t hear clearly. Cruising speed is 20-30 knots And consumption is 50 liters for 2 engine ?

100% agree. Really like some of the smart design features , but the utilitarian finishes seems a bit disconnected for the price you pay.
Prix merci
Very Nice boat I like Very much

do you need a license for the boat ? might be a stupid question 😂

@@morganmarineukhere in the USA you are required to have a boating license after a certain length of boat
@@X1DELTA1X Good point! I should have said in our previous comment that it was referring to the UK.
@@morganmarineuk It’s all good
@@morganmarineuk unless you're in the US, no license for either.
She just stand to much out of the water. She will catch the wind too easily while docking and rock like crazy at anchor.
