Loved the guy! Cried like a baby when he passed ❤
Best Manager England never had...A True Legend!!
The Forest we know and love today is due to what he achieved.
True❤
Thee greatest Forest manager ever(and not forgetting his side kick,Peter Taylor, who was good at spotting talent.Garry Birtles for example).AND the greatest England manager we never had.Cloughie should have got the England job after the 1982 World Cup,when Ron Greenwood stepped down. The reason he probably didn’t get it,is because the FA were afraid he’d change that organisation from top to bottom. And he would have done.😉
@@DerekHarrison-d5d ❤👏well said!
A true football genius.
Forever remembered, forever missed. ❤️
True , a very special manager ,smart, charismatic ,that's why Forest is great ❤❤😊
SIMPLY A LEGEND.🌟.
We’ll never see the like again. A truly great man.
They broke the mould when Clough was born. I loved going to the City Ground to watch his sides play. I remember his the thumbs up to the crowd, his wit, his love for the club and the people.
Legend in his life time; forever within the game and beyond.
Even today the FA would still be too scared to give him the England job, the country’s loss was our gain 👍
Brian was a brilliant man and should be remembered for what he was; a genius of the game.
What he achieved in the time space, and the budget at a fairly unfashionable Club - is the greatest feat in the history of Football…bar none
It will never been seen or experienced again!
And NEVER be forgotten either
I was blessed to be alive and witness it with my own eyes 👍🏼
A remarkable and charismatic manager and human. unbelievable it's been 20 years since he passed

❤ CLOUGH WHAT MAN😢
Legend. Made my childhood special x
Can remember the excitement and optimism when he was appointed. We were bottom half of the old 2nd division playing in front of about 14,000 most weeks.
Thank you Brian. It was a heck of a ride. We owe you so much and honour your time with us. RIP ⭐⭐
He was a Legend at Sunderland and Middlesbrough as a player and a person he is still thought of up there as one of the best
True Legend 😉👍
Greatest man to walk this earth
The word legend is used a lot these days, often when it shouldn't really be, but Brian Clough was indeed a legend at Nottingham Forest, and we were both privilaged and lucky to have him as our manager. He was one of a kind for sure and we all loved him and still love him for it, I do have to say though, that it broke my heart to see what happened to him towards the end of his life, it just goes to show that even the Gods amongst us still have their demons to battle.......Rest in peace Gaffer!
The Greatest ❤
How can it be 20 years already? Time passes so quickly!
I was so lucky to go through my childhood watching the Famous teams of Sir BC,and had the privelage of meeting him 3 times,a momth before his death in his sons newsagents and we had a nice chat for about 5 minutes,i met a legend,a real one,RIP Brian
Brian the GOAT Clough
When I was a lot younger I was at the Nottingham Forest School of Excellence (pre-academy days). Even from a young age we were taught the Clough way.
I've still got the letter all players received when it was announced he was leaving as manager.
i had a conversation with a notts county fan when mr clough came to forest. i told him that forest would win the first division in two years and we did. iwill always be greatful . iam now 77 yrs old .
Son Of God Blessed Loved for ever Brian Clough Legend
I had the pleasure of meeting him at the Forest ground in the 80's at the jubilee club. Great bloke...😊

He was in the “top one” a legend.
So good seeing a resurgent Forest with big Chris Wood leading the line ,Clough would have loved him !
One of a kind , he will never be repeated . A true football genius . Clough won it when money didn't run the game like today , turned a team possibly bound for the 3rd division into div 1 n 2 x European Winners within just a few years nobody could do that or will ever do it again .
England biggest loss but forest greatest gain . Forever in our hearts and memories Sir Brain Clough 😢
I'm not sure whether I would say that Brian was the greatest manager ever - but he was definitely in the top one.
With his attitude and comments he makes in interviews ange postecoglou reminds me of THE GREAT MAN ❤CLOUGH ❤🌲
Was I kid during the miracle years, and just thought it was ‘normal’ to win everything.. feel blessed to have seen him and his teams.. not forgetting the only man who could make him laugh, the late, great Peter Taylor; and at the risk of sounding like an Oscars acceptance speech, Jimmy Gordon deserves a nod too..
🫡🌳⭐️⭐️
danger! genius at work.
Just a genius, us in the 70/80's/90's playing football on the grass was a sight to behold... way way way ahead of his time...
The manager England lost out on.
