Something weird I noticed with Immolators is that a Sparks pistol w/ poison cannot one shot even with a headshot. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch, but I headshot two separate immolators in a match and neither of them died in one hit. Just a random thing to be aware of

Chickens cooped like like that react strongly to the sight of blood, and if one of them gets injured, they will peck at the wound, sometimes straight up pecking that chicken to death if you don't intervene. Clearly the chickens are all reacting to the dead chicken's bloodspray, pecking the wound and getting poisoned themselves.
Homereel showed me pretty fun secondary option for Sparks in general and Poision Sparks in particular - short Springfield with explosive ammo. You do not even need to aim perfectly for a kill, and any explosive ammo kill is a true meme win in my book

Even headshots at large distances will not kill them automatically (at least with the Nagant, haven't tested this at higher calibers). Not a common scenario I realize, but the video stresses in-depth detail so I wanted to point out the observation.
Since ancient times, game has a bug with a poison status, when you get this status with an antidote, Hunt first check if there was an antidote aaand then apply blur on your screen and then poison on your health. However, in rare cases, ticks (or whatever Hunt use) got broken and apply blur in the first place. Blur linked with the poison timer on your health, but if you're never get that poison, screen effect would stay forever until you get another hit with the poison effect. I have 2-3 fights where this bug ruined pvp for me.
If you want to make sure you’re applying the effect then I highly recommend spending the point on poison sense and taking cover to check if they light up (make sure they’re within range), it can save you from pushing someone who has antidote active. The person shot can hear the sound of the poison round and I’ve been baited into pushing people who were not poisoned.
The only thing this video is missing is probably how long they stay poisoned with Mithridatist. Does the different ammo types still effect how long they are poisoned too?
The Chicken Coop tip feels like forbidden hunt tech, the kinda stuff only a few people know of and are either going to be sad or excited to see more people do it. Thanks for the insights as always

I always have a hard time finding the right place to draw the line when considering the scope of a topic. That probably would have been worth including. If I ever do a full breakdown on the poison status effect, i'll be sure to include it there.
I think immolators are 2 shot if you hit their arms - had a number of occasions where I definitely got the hit marker with the silenced nagant but needed a follow up shot to drop it.
Poison sense works on hunters in general - so you can also see poisoned hunters in your own team as well. Niche knowledge but sometimes helpful in randoms.
silenced poison weapons make the knife much more viable, which is great because its good for PVP, but makes immolators annoying. i enjoy taking poison on winfield as it lets me kill most bosses fast and if i'm in an emergency killing armored or immolators instantly is life saving utility.
Tiny detail but I think there actually is an indicator that a hunter is affected by poison. It’s super subtle and pretty impossible to tell in a gunfight. Think it’s like a super subtle green smoke around the chest.
Yeah, probably the most valuable find I had with this one. I haven’t seen that talked about anywhere else. A viewer mentioned it in a livestream. I otherwise wouldn’t have thought to try!

You forgot the most important synergy with poison ammo (and poison sense) : the BEETLE. Hit with a poison sparks, send the beetle, get a funny kill.

I recommend bringing Poison Sense to check whether you poisoned somebody or not.
