Dut the JZX100 Chaser is one of my absolute favorites and yours is looking on point and sounds so sick 👌 she's going to be a ripper with all these upgrades and the wheels nice choice 👌 cant wait to see you shredding the tracks with her and will definitely need a JZX Legends shirt for sure keep up the great work 👍
Hey Dustin - Tim mentioned it, but you should be really careful handling clutch material and other fluids without latex gloves on. That stuff is pretty nasty, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it causes bad health problems later on in life. Just want to make sure you're being safe!
Let alone no hearing protection. I’m 46 yo and have hearing aids as I have high frequency hearing loss from rattle guns , grinders with all our modern tools and no proper hearing protection .
Absolutely. My grandfather owned a shop for decades and dealt with brake clean, and everything without gloves. He had throat cancer very likely due to that
Could 100% be clutch noise but I’ve also seen said noises come from not replacing the input shaft bushing and/or not greasing the input shaft or throwout bearing sleeve. I would also be hesitant to drive the car with the milky oil. Putting off the head gasket replacement could wipe out the bottom end of the JZ. Not trying to be negative, just giving feedback so you guys could avoid larger issues. Nothing but love.
I've owned a chaser for 3 years. Love it. Even still, I learn a lot from these videos. Really appreciate your video style and it shows how great you and the team around you are mechanically that you are in a position to teach on these things on a chassis you've so little experience with before this car
Awesome video as always Dustin. The Chaser is such an iconic JDM car and it’s so awesome when the engine is concerned you need to the to Sammit he’s a pro when it comes to JZ engines.
Only thing that's gonna be fun is having to swap that trans constantly because you decided to throw an overkill twin disk... Stay single disk sprung otherwise you'll be going through transmissions. I know from experience and if you don't believe me, ask Sammit and see how many brand new R154's he went through by running his twin disk.
Regarding the ‘chocolate milk’ oil situation. Check your coolant level. It could very well be a head gasket issue which has allowed coolant into the oil while under pressure. Hope not though. 🤞🏻 Oh! At the end you mentioned checking the oil & coolant. Good!
for a non grippy tire, those actually grip really good without being a full on race tire. i had them on my focus st when i had it but now they’re on the dad suv 😂
dustin I would like to think that it would be better if dustin tried to contact sammit after all he is an expert on chasers and he has one of his own hand made drift chasers after all..dustin is the first to experience a drift car and wants to know which bodykit is more suitable so I recommend trying to contact sammit.. and I'm a dustin fan from the beginning of r35 manufacturing..i from Malaysia...🤙
12:35 how come this filming looks so weird like the focus in the background is distorted also the filming going to the tire shop is shaky as hell this new filter you got is garbage
If you would watch the videos, you would’ve seen that i dropped my camera. I have a new lens on order, but it will be about 2 weeks. Sorry for the “garbage” quality
Yeah, what a crazy thing to swing and miss on... one of the biggest benefits for DIY. Could be a tire sponsor deal though. Edit: not Bridgestones 😂 nevermind

Yeah and they were using rattle cans can't remeber if they had any face pro, but if they did I remeber it being very inadequate.

I worry more about out their backs. Every mechanic I know has a wrecked back. All that bending over the engine bay.
But it's ok working with anglegrinder without safety gard on it 😅

Agreed...
100% - needs a bit more mechanical sympathy rather than just changing the oil and hoping it magically fixes itself

Awesome progress with the chaser, I love those cars ❤
Love the chaser bro! Take good care of her
This is the epitome of the car guy. Car probably leaking fluid from every orifice, head gasket definitely blown. Time for COILOVERS BAYBEEEE 🤣
Amen brother
Milky oil could be condensation built up if car has been sitting for a while in cold/hot weather, that's if there's no sign of coolant leaks.
I came to the comments to say the same thing. Also from starting and stopping the engine a lot and never reaching to proper operating temps.
damn, i love this seats . looks so perfect
Love to see the cst hyper zeros / battles still on the jzx. We are twinning minus the red stripe. And i have them on all 4s

Its better when the clutch alignment tool doesn’t make the noise. It means your clutch is aligned good.

Love the chaser, on of my dream cars🙌🏻 btw I can't remember what happened with the K Swap Eg 😅
Pretty sure there’s a break in period for the clutch💀
It ain’t a Chaser without two different sets of wheels on!🎉
The DWS is such a great all season tire 😢
Chaser is coming along great…. Never seen a clutch that destroyed.. 😮
I have trippel copper plate on my R33 GT-R in Purple "700hp" from Exedy, build over 10 years ago.
Love this car so much! Can’t wait to get some Chaser Merch 🤞🏼
On the list for VIPs!!
After seeing the chocolate milk and the transmission the way it is I hope you didn’t pay a ridiculous amount for the car

Thanks man 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Come on lets get this man 1million subscribers!
The clutch looked like it had a balance mark and they weren’t lined up from what it looked like.
Casually drifting on continental tires. Those arent cheap😂
for a non grippy tire, those actually grip really good without being a full on race tire. i had them on my focus st when i had it but now they’re on the dad suv 😂
Chaser getting up to spec. 💯
🙌🏼
It's official, Dut can do donuts,lol 👍👍👍
missed out on the free tire mounting and balancing from Fitment!
You should invest in a wheel balancer/ tire installer machine.
Don't touch that stuff...... proceeds to touch it. One wears gloves, the other doesn't.
Honda's never looked so good 🔥🤟

You gotta do some crazy color wheels! It’s a drift build it’ll be sick haha
I want a Toyota chaser so badly

Thanks man!!

I thought it was gonna be a street build/drifter. Now it starting to look like a full on drift car.
Rear tow looks a bit off after the end donuts!
dut! you need to buy yourself your own tire machine!
Tjhunt in japan are you still there ???
Wish I had your skills Dustin. I love cars but wouldn’t even know where to start to learn how to work on them.

Think he had one with his girlfriend, or like a vlog channel
Unfortunately I don’t have time, but good luck with your journey man!
@@dustiinw no problem! I love the car content!!
Do chasers come with a full carbon dash stock?
I’m not sure if it was an option or an upgrade from the previous owner!
If you're talking about the trim pieces they came in Tourer S and Tourer V/Roulant G cars
very very nice!
Dustinnnn Williamsss❤🤭
LETS GOOOOOO
Be worth your while to spend your money on a tyer changer and wheel balancer for the shop.
Dustin always goes plain with the colors of wheels and cars this is a drift car put some color brother
Good car.. aside from the chocolate milk lol. Atleast it’s a Toyota. Thing will probably still run another 100k miles
Reverse problem is for all JDM cars lmao
