Today, we finally have more mods for the jzx100! In today's video, we install BC Racing coilovers and build a custom set so we have the perfect spring rate! huge thanks to fitment industires for helping us find and secure the perfect suspension set up for the Chaser. BC didnt have the spec we needed, so fitment helped us source the right spring rate and dampers we needed to make this work! Then, i ended on some TLC and got a headlight restoration kit from Meguiars and COMPLETELY restored the Chasers old 90s headlights!

You should get a hold of drift hq for parts
You only have 1 event on the car. Should probably just get seat time as is with the new coilovers. No need to go for angle right away. Will lean you towards relying on angle as a crutch

I can give tips on this car if u ever need or want advice, ive been drifting mine in japan about 3 yrs and just brought it back to the states with me, even did tandems with fdj drivers out in japan

Replacing springs scares me. Whether its easy or not still scares the sh*t out of me.
But God damn those coil overs look sexy! Need to get some on the '66 and crush that fear of springs finally cause quality suspension is so nice!

Could I ask an honest question? What made you get back into drifting? I remember back then, you did get into it for a bit and then stepped away for a long time until recently. Does seeing all the homies doing things like drift matsuri, LZ world tours, drift series and just drifting together as a whole gave you any FOMO? Because for a long time it really did seem like you tried really hard to do your own thing and stayed away from doing content with everyone when they got together for those events and never included yourself with everyone when they all got together to do drifting together and with drifting getting more and more popular each year and some would say that drifting is in its golden era right now, did feeling like you missed out on that made you want to get back in now? and would you be wanting to attend things like the LZ world tour in the future?

No, we are going to go drive it and check oil mid day to see if coolant is still getting in. We believe seal is bad on the coolest lines passing the oil filter

I hate how everyone shills for BC Racing, they have a hell of a sponsor program I guess. Sure they're perfectly fine for most people, but there's better stuff out there even in the same price point.
That headlight resto kit reminds me I need to pick one up, again. My G35's lights were bunk a few years ago, so I got the cleanest junkyard lights I could find, opened them up for a custom blackhousing/yellow highbeams job back in 2020. The original plan was to custom fit the I think Q45 gatling gun projectors in the highbeam/fog bucket, but I neglected the fact that the pictures I've seen online were all of coupe headlights. I have a sedan, and apparently the buckets are like an inch smaller...
Anyway, the custom lights' UV clear failed in like 3 months after installation. I bought a set of UV Laminate film from LaminX awhile ago, but haven't gotten around to buffing or using one of those restoration kits yet before applying the film to hopefully avoid this problem in the future.

Chaser looks so rad. I have a request tho, can u lower the rear a little and give it some Ebisu squat? Feel like it would complete the look. Can’t wait to see your progress with the new suspension and interior, the driver mod stuff is huuuuuge. Also talking about street car, maybe a drift week someday??
