You don't. My reticle, after zero, was at the bottom left corner of the screen. I had to shim the crap out of the scope to physically move the screen to on target. Lame. Can you imagine if a regular scope was like that? Nobody would buy it, obviously. Shimming a scope puts undue stress on the scope body, and greatly reduces the rings grip on the scope, which is even more import with a heavier scope and this is the heaviest scope I've ever seen. I don't have much recoil so not an issue, but it will be for some people. Interesting how they don't mention this reticle issue on the website or all their advertising. Obviously it would reduce sales, so why would they. When you zoom in it tries to zoom in on the reticle, so at full zoom it was much closer to center, but that's not a fix. I do not want or need zoom. I'd prefer 0x if they offered it. With the poor resolution and extremely narrow field of view, zoom greatly compounds these issues. So zoom is simply not an option imo. For bobbyhale who said he rec'd a replacement scope that worked, I can only assume the screen on the replacement was pretty much spot on out of the box? Or perhaps he's always at enough zoom to not see the problem.
The crosshairs will stay where ever your zero is. It will not go back to the center. If your zero is so far off center you need to remount the scope and try to level it as much as possible. Then re-zero.
