+Jamie Novotny I live on a farm, my neighbors are dairy and bison farmers. I see coyotes all the time. And my neighbors have never lost an animal to coyotes either. They only thing I see them doing is catching rodents and rabbits. If you want to kill them, that's fine, but don't try to tell the world you're doing a great service by doing so.
+Listening Point They rarely come that close to houses. Unless their population has over expanded like it has here where farmers are losing multiple calves per season, we're seeing them in town, etc. Hunters could plug away at them 24/7 and they wouldn't vanish. Hell you can youtube video's of people's dogs getting attack by coyotes. So don't pretend like because you've gotten lucky in your area (probably because someone is hunting them and they are paranoid of humans) that these guys are just making excuses to kill stuff. I know a farmer who lost 3 calves last year to coyotes, and 2 people who have lost dogs. Just like people who get attacked by bears, and cougars when their population gets too high, food becomes scarce, and they get bold and come near people to hunt.
For anybody blathering about on the killings in this video, you MAY have heard of but DEFINITELY haven't understood these: 1. Rights to maintain and defend one's property 2. Ive grown up in places like this and came out of it trandsending the world with better understanding too. You need to see why this stuff is so reckless. People like this are literally the definition of selfish. There are so many other more effective alternatives to protecting your livestock. And this doesn't fix the issue. This also isn't right dont you agree? That this way is reckless, careless, ignorant, and selfish? We have to care about both sides. Start caring about life instead of just their own. 1 shot 1 quick kill every now and then is 1 thing... but im talking about how these are only a few clips out of the thousands where they miss and absolutely screw up the animal having it suffering
@@irvingceron1016 nah its cheap as fuck to trap or dart and relocate...and who tf cares if its expensive, look at all the shit you're investing for the livestock. You need a fence anyway
I too once thought that coyotes were harmless until I moved from California to Missouri. I'll never forget watching a pack of coyotes surround a mother cow that had just giving birth to a calf. They quickly dispatched the calf and then began a slow, violent killing of the cow by ripping it's intestines out through its anus. The farmer went to get his rifle, but it was much too late. By the time he got back the mama cow was on her side and one of the coyotes had literary climbed in her belly and was eating her alive from the inside out as she bellowed in agony. I never quite felt sorry for any coyote after that.
It doesn't matter cows are worth shit. If there weren't animals like pas wolves and coyotes around the ecosystem would fall apart you fucking dumbass. I support Wolves. WOLVES FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!
wrongname wrongeveryting I support this, shoulda taken the other two down too. It's all PETA and love until a coyote eats your dog or farm animals. Vermin gotta be kept in check.
So I'm really curious. I've seen a lot of these videos and I notice what appears to be coyotes feeding on one or more dead cattle. Where did they come from. Were they kills by the coyotes or other predators?

Those animals should learn that place is not their territory, and once they learn that they're not welcome there, they should leave.
@@spacedragon2753 but we are not aliens we are animals just like them, animals kill animals all the time(yes even for fun) it's just a part of life, and this is probably the most painless and humane way you can kill an animal.
@@naknampucha5236 Yeah, and what about if it's the people that invaded the wolf territories? It's not that that isn't their place, it just got occupied with "predators". You can see the same logic in the cat mouse situation. And also you can't say that man killing is Nature's way, simply because of technology. Would a man be able to kill a wolf without a fire weapon? Maybe, but ofc the chances are way higher with a gun. How is that the natural way? Guns are not natural, everything that animals have/are comes from Nature itself. A cat killing a mouse is natural, it's meant to happen. Another example: man using worldwide resources in his favor, and as we all know it's destroying the planet. How does Nature allow itself to get destroyed by something you claim to be the natural way? No other animals are destroying the planet, it's purely the human actions, again by the use of technology
The reason why they are hunted and killed is because they group together and kill farmers stock. It's either take the coyotes out or lose cattle. I think coyotes will survive enough to lose a few.
The reason he is waiting so long to shoot, as many people seem to be remarking in here, is for two reasons. 1, when your actually behind the gun trying to hold still, its actually hard to figure out when the best time to shoot is in order to get a quick, humane kill and not make a bad, wounding shot. Real life isnt a video game, you cant just point and shoot like you can on a screen. Unless you dont care about making a good, humane shot, but then your gonna give these whiners in here more stuff to complain about because your being a douche. Dont give misguided people more reason to hate hunters. 2, In some of the clips like the one starting at 4:07, he is clearly waiting for them to come closer/within range of the rifle. Once again, this isnt a video game. shooting something at 300 yards is different than at 200 and 100 and so on. especially since these coyotes arent that big of an animal. Most of you probably couldnt hit a minivan at this distance, let alone a dog. remember in real life there are plenty of variables that games/movies dont account for. wind, unpredictable breathing or hands shaking, the rifle your using, the angle and distance you are shooting at, etc. Military snipers dont go through extensive marksmanship training for no reason.
you may be thinking about humane shots but come on lmfao he was trying to get a collateral i don't think he gives to much of a fuck but i get your point.
No wonder why my granfather had 3 sniper gun in the barn Kinda realizing how he hardwork to populate the sheep and goats and start hunting in the night together with my father And yet i had my gradfather gun and start sniping to avenge my lost 3 little puppy *doom music starts playing*
Before everyone starts saying how this is cruel or unnecessary or whatever, please be mindful of the situation. I'm fairly certain that these are farmers protecting their livestock aka how they support their families and themselves, and coyotes are viewed as pests that constantly threaten their way of live and destroy the few means to sustain themselves. They aren't an endangered species and they have the right to protect their lands. If you want to "dislike" something, search for poachers in Africa taking down elephants for tusks or illegal shark finning in the seas.
+Luis Amador people never complain about livestock. They are made to die and it is very harsh and cruel for meat. At least the Coyote lived in the wild and get hunted. The farmer/hunter probably had a reason to kill that coyote. And hunters use all the meat and its whole body. Coyotes live everywhere and may be considered for being pests so at least he has a reason :)
Luis Amador You didn't read the first few words of my post..about being mindful of the situation. All life matters, but you can not compare an animal to a human being. If your way of life (how you support and feed your family, elders, people in need) is being threatened, especially by an animal that is not endangered and in fact overpopulated in many states, you'd be out there too with a rifle. Save some coyotes or potentially starve a family in this crappy economy? Hmm...no brainer.

@Albert Silk So because farmers have to kill predators to peotect their animals therefore all farmers are bad , do you not buy food at the store , were do you think that food comes from .
Albert Silk Get your head out of your ass. Yeah, cattle live like hell in many farms in America especially. But that doesn’t mean every farmer treats the cattle like shit, that belongs mostly to industrial farms. If you even know what that is, doubt you do considering your ignorance. Go chew your leaves.

I would recommend that people who don't understand the purpose of hunting and killing coyotes take a DNR Hunters Ed Course and ask plenty of question so you can fully understand the gravitas that hunters have in an ecosystem in their local area. Coyotes are considered pests to all farmers and are fairly invasive. If you saw the true savagery of what a pack of coyotes is capable of not just killing cows, goats, sheep, etc. you would be doing your ecosystem a favor in killing a very dangerous animal. Side story: I was sitting in my tree stand waiting for a decent sized buck to come by and I saw a doe and its fawn lay in a clearing in the field in front of me it was 6 in the morning and it was a peaceful sight so I dozed off into about a half hour nap, I didn't wake up on my own volition. I'll never forget the sounds of screaming deer and coyotes killing the doe and its fawn in that field then I realized how terrible these animals really are and the education course doesn't do it justice to kill these animals. And to keep you from asking what happened in this process, I killed the fawn and doe to put them out of their misery and buried them. I tracked the pack for the rest of the day killing 5 out of 8, doing my civic duty as a ethical hunter.

What you have to keep in mind is that these animals primarily don't have many predators themselves, the biggest culprits would be bears, wolves and lions. So as a result they can over populate and expand to more areas like residential neighborhoods for example.
He had the chance to get 2 or 3 with one bullet, but for some reason he waits years till he fires, even when the target is close and doesnt move, thats frustating and probably the reason for the massive downvotes.

I am not a CoD kid, i am a soldier in the army, look at my pic, thats me. It depends on the rifle, bullet type and range. It is possible to hit several targets with one bullet, when it doesnt hit hard bones. Remember John Kennedy, the same bullet penetrated him and then hit the guy in front of him.

+Listening Point Just because you have been lucky doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I have lost 2 good German Shepards to coyotes.
For anybody blathering about on the killings in this video, you MAY have heard of but DEFINITELY haven't understood these:
1. Rights to maintain and defend one's property
2. Rights to keep and bear arms
3. Sentiment
4. Food shortage
5. Overpopulation
6. A way to actually use the full potential of your brains instead of just sticking it inside your skull
Edit: And I am nobody to tell you what you like and dislike, just keep your storms in your skies and don't rile up anybody else's
Clean kills , straight shooting, good hunt ! Great video!
I didn't even read the description. Given the surroundings, I figured it's a farmer, or hunter, protecting livestock, or something to that effect. After reading the description, I see I was right.

+Mike Lord boy u are stupid. You can see two dead cows
coyotes can't kill cows
Mike Lord how the fuck can a coyote kill a cow? Please explain that to me.

There is a difference between who hunts to live and who hunts to have a fun.
Both are perfectly fine
@@collar1967 Yeah, it's fine for you because you're not the one being hunted. If aliens invaded our entire world and hunted you down just for fun, I'm sure you wouldn't find it as amusing. The right thing to do doesn't depend on which side you are. The right thing is always the same. To leave everything be, because Nature always finds it's own way
@@spacedragon2753 natures way..pfft, killing is Nature's way. Man acting on his instinct is Nature's way,..do you find it pitiful or merciful if a cat played it's own prey the mice?? Those pest ain't gonna kill themselves so better hold your gun before your cats and dogs have gone missing.

1 Kill xd
The reason why they are hunted and killed is because they group together and kill farmers stock. It's either take the coyotes out or lose cattle. I think coyotes will survive enough to lose a few.
Oh well Bubba, that's nature.
Military snipers dont go through extensive marksmanship training for no reason.
pretty insightful stuff!
nickster105 its not hard try trapping
yeah and then you have to know how far to aim ahead for the time the bullet is in the air to the time it hits the target when at longer ranges.
you may be thinking about humane shots but come on lmfao he was trying to get a collateral i don't think he gives to much of a fuck but i get your point.
nickster105 You are exactly right

Before everyone starts saying how this is cruel or unnecessary or whatever, please be mindful of the situation. I'm fairly certain that these are farmers protecting their livestock aka how they support their families and themselves, and coyotes are viewed as pests that constantly threaten their way of live and destroy the few means to sustain themselves. They aren't an endangered species and they have the right to protect their lands. If you want to "dislike" something, search for poachers in Africa taking down elephants for tusks or illegal shark finning in the seas.
+H.J. S K Agreed
because only human lives matter.. stfu
+Luis Amador
because only human life matter! Humans rule the world and not some animals.

The amount of dislike is astounding, I bet most of this person think that meat grow in supermarket.
He or she isn't eating the coyote.. they are just doing this for the fun of it.. they aren't starving
@@harvester4876 its to protect their animals
Those who yelling at this video are still eat meats this day.
@Lancey Lance its pest control to keep them under control
@Lancey Lance but you need to have an open space for a horse and plus you need more food for those animals if you want them alive and for a donkey you need a dry clean barn or a 3sided shelter and you need to remove its waste daily. It also needs space to wander and nibble
As for alpacas its a great choice cus all they need is a gpod shelter for them provide vet care shear their wool once a year feed them well and carefully breed them
But if you wan to save some money then go ahead get a .22 amd just shoot them in the head as quick and painless but if you wan the animal option you'll benifit
But ur neihhborhood qho dosent have them shoot their toast
Now if you'll excuse me bye.

If anyone ask why I said this my first deer did the same thing because I severed the connection of the spine to the head and it reminded me of what my dad said more innocent of a place then you think it would come from
First half of the title got me picturing a coyote with a thermal sniper scope absolutely picking off random souls

los coyotes son como perros, que pesar que los maten así, ellos se domestican tambien y su ADN es practicamente el de un perro, tienen la capacidad de procrear entre si y los cachorros entre un hosky y un coyote son muy lindos y leales.✌
