Thank you for this idea I'm doing the fake brick like that in my kitchen and at the bottom of my stairs funny thing my whole down stairs is all mirrors like that room was lol but I have Italian smoked glass in-between each mirror but at the bottom of my stairs some broke I don't want to take the rest down because that was 1 of the reasons my mom wanted this house and she passed October 19th,2022 so I want to keep them for a while but when I do take them down I will be having them cut down to size and made into beautiful mirrors and give them to family as a keep sake from my mom .❤❤❤

I did a wall with mortar and thin brick slabs it looks great and it wasn't hard. It's a half wall and I wish I knew how to add a picture to this to show you. I love to do crafts and did the wall before UA-cam and it still looks great. Lol.

My idea was to just go in and paint the areas with a paint close to the rest of the morter. Aww you painted the brick I liked it the red color. but it does look good.

When you first started doing the project with the red brick I was thinking wait, didn't you just white wash all the real brick in your mom's house because you said it looked dated! Then when I saw you painting it white I thought oh okay perfect! When You said it was going to be yours and your mom's office, does that mean your going to do your real job by your mom's house from now on? 🙂💕
looks so good!!! also a little tip for the uneven walls... if you took the measurement that it was off from the wall on top (1 3/8") and marked the bottom corner at 1 3/8" in, then just draw a line from the top corner to the mark you made on the bottom and cut on that line. therefore there is no need to find the angle. That is if you didn't want to put trim over it. :)
