It’s not very nice to assume that the History Channel is , as you say “milking the show”. There are a hundred thousand plus viewers that watch the show and in fact never miss an episode.! They are not milking anything. They are showing a show that we are very interested in and we wish the team the best of luck at finding the treasure because they all deserve it!!
The French king constantly borrowed money from the Templar and was in debt. For fear of them collection he ordered them arrested on false charges. Most were jailed, tortured and killed but a few went underground and hid.
It is a incredible history lesson we are all recieving. Wonderful to watch. Too bad those only interested in the treasure are unable to see what a treasure all these discoveries really are. Thank you!
What kind of discoveries are you talking about ? There is no connection between the knights templar or the Cistercians to oak island! Between the vikings at Newfoundland in the 11th century and the arrival of Columbus in 1492 there were no europeans in America!

The first ships that could be used on high seas were the caravel which were invented and in wider use when the knights templar already´ve been broken up by the Pope and the King of France.
Not entirely true. Josh Gates did a Explores Club on how polopenisian people where able to sail across the ocean on a raft. I forget the kind of wood it was made from.
Looking at the geology of Oak Island, it has traces of Anhydrite (angelite) which was a stone used in jewelry making. My guess is that Oak Island was mining Angelite. When exposed to water, anhydrite readily transforms to the more commonly occurring gypsum, (CaSO4·2H2O) by the absorption of water. Ground into a powder, the stone was used as a pigment throughout the middle ages, its particular shade of blue finding popularity for the depiction of heavenly skies. Angelite is deeply associated with the belief that this stone has the power to facilitate communication with angels and spirit guides.
Ive worked on oilfield drilling, i was a potash miner. If they would drill between the garden shaft and the ocean, maybe to a depth of 150 feet, then pump concrete or another water barrier; from 150ft to say 40ft on about 12ft ceners- over about one to two hundred feet that should be able to cut off any flood channels, or any natural water voids so that tbey can procede in the horizontal drilling. MINE shafts are sunk that way to prevent water from flooding the shaft. Marty is an engineer, smarter than i am.I doubt he will ever see this forum. Thanks Jim Mcfarland

WAY MORE than a thousand years! And Oak Island, "formerly known as Smith's Island and formerly known as something way before that", is just one of approximately 365 islands in Mahone Bay. Regarding historical significance, Oak Island was the ONLY island in Mahone Bay to have had those towering non-indigenous Canopy Oak Trees lining the east shore next to Smith's Cove with their origin from the Mediterranean Region/North Africa (See Google Images). None of the trees remain today. It is truly mind-boggling!
A few years ago I came across a book at the library whereby a man recreated a monks' journey in a boat made of thick leather across the northern Atlantic and how well the boat held up in the crossing. So the proof of finding an Oak Leaf may be resolved due to the fact the monk left and returned to his monastery writing of the journey about the same time mentioned in this video. The Nolan cross could have been a form of direction too for sailors in that era. The Nolan cross on Oak Island being a direction finder for the stars and constellations above it when standing at the points on the cross being answets to where buried treasure may be located.
As we search for the Oak Island treasure, another group will continue the Search for Al Capones vaults. Ah-ha, we have found Geraldo Rivera looking for a career and his dignity!

Yeah I’ve wondered that too. I mean there’s for sure something still in the money pit area cause of the water testing but whether or not it’s the templars is the big question. Burying the arc in a death trap seems odd. Why do people bury treasure? Answer to retrieve it later. I find it hard to believe that the most important information of that group was lost to time. A big point of the templars/free masons was to preserve/pass on information. If the arc was there I think its quite plausible it has since been moved. Especially since people have been digging there for hundreds of years. If you knew that people were digging for your gold and they were close, you would move it.

I go out and look for treasure around me about long ago two different forts around this area never received their salary’s. There is two different chest full of gold and silver still unaccounted for along with a bank robbery that their loot was left behind. Just to find anything remotely close to any of those keep me going back looking the story that it could tell if ever found. For the stories and the few times where one has came into money out of the blue from oak island and other clues from items found representing oak island from the time of the Templar’s it’s gone. Not saying they will continue to find a little thing here and there but that treasure is gone yet it will haunt them because of the time they have invested. It’s hard walking away from a spot you have spent time and a lot of time going over every square inch of the area. It’s very hard to just walk away.

Recall that episode earlier this season where Alex Lagina "translated" the three symbols that are on the H-O stone to be "Here Is Gold"--- staying true to the show's treasure narrative. I have believed for a very, very long time that the third symbol on the H-O stone is "God", not gold.
Milking Indeed, 11 Seasons and how many millions or is it tens of millions of dollars, and what have they to show for it, paper, clothes, coins, a cross, wood, etc. If there were real stock holders and not just those millionaire brothers, stock holders would of pulled the plug along time ago. This show is about the only thing on TV worth watching. I have watched every episode and have really enjoyed it.
