@DeltaForceGame if you delay the console version until summer, then that's a big miss because it's too close to battlefield release.. I will lose interest in playing and I am sure a lot of people will. Iim not waiting until summer. If the console version comes out in the summer, it's going to fail on console.
I watched the tournaments, nobody used snipers.. Why use Snipers when smgs are jack of all trades, monster at close, monster at medium, monster at long range. Essentially if u play anything other than an smg, you are at a disadvantage.
Meanwhile marksman rifles are also very bad at what they're supposed to do. At the very least they need twice the damage drop off and higher headshot multipliers.
Half of the people here complaining about the game are the typical bots ingame that cannot differentiate between green and red, the amount of times i saw people literally looking at an enemy and just not reacting is mind blowing to me. I like the game its pretty nice so far. Also, why should a tank be allowed inside enemy troops? It should be punished like it is now thats expected behaviour. The whole thing about any military vehicle is that it attacks from distance. Maybe they should improve the gadgets to counteract that but so far no big problem with vehicles in my opinion
YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THE BELOW WHICH IS A MASSIVE ISSUE!!!! The region I play in, Delta Force: Havoc Warfare, has a low player population. In the last couple of days, I used to connect with EU players, where I experienced a ping of 80 to 90, which was perfectly fine. However, now the game forces me to play on my region with a 20 ping, which results in me facing mostly bots. This has significantly ruined my gaming experience. I now find myself questioning whether the person I'm fighting is a real player or just a bot, which completely kills the immersion and enjoyment for me. I must be clear - I dislike playing with bots, and having them in the game at all detracts from my experience. As a player with a competitive mindset, I prefer playing against real players. If I wanted to play with bots, I would choose story modes or single-player games. REMOVE BOTS from Warfare Mode!!!
They made a statement on their discord server saying the maps in less popular regions will be filled with bots at first until eventually more and more players spawn in an active match. Hope this gave you some information
Totally agree about the wall hack arrows. I'm not a fan of built in wall hacks in any games, but devs seem to enjoy doing it for some reason. You've got a good list overall. The game is pretty good, but if they just focus on some continual improvements they are going to have a really great game here.
Hey Ghost... You need to mention a call-out for the smoke barrier and artillery when playing in Shafted map which is underground.. Its just too much combining with smoke spamming..and doesent make any sense when you are deep underground😮 And second thing, Delta Force is going to implement thermal scopes that can see through all smoke grenades.
This honestly just sounds like a player issue. B'cuz you defo can the only times you wouldn't be able to is if you're literally pushing a whole 5+ ppl.
Spot on. Installed this game and played for like 2 hours. Spent 50% of that time sitting in corridors blinded by 17 smoke grenades. And then when that ends, it's just 20 guys sitting on head glitches. Easy uninstall and I won't be going back
Does it come to your Mind that you maybe could run through that Smoke to find some Friends? Even as a defender you should consider that. Ok there is a lot of smoke and yes almost all the time but how the Maps are shaped they are definetly necessary to push. Without them everybody could just holding all Angles and thats it. With less smoke they would just hold their Nades and Launchers back to spam in the Smoke everytime. Keeping players on the Move is always a good thing imo.
@@veyron142ngl you just spoke logic to idiot and if something doesnt go their way even if they did it to themselves, in their mind "its not their fault".
Just sitting on corridors when they’re smoke spamming is the stupidest thing you can do, you can literally counter it with utilities or by just entering the smoke yourself whole prone
Here's a fun thing you can do as an engineer. Play as Shepard, place a mine down, then place your Sonic Traps around it. The trap can sometimes go off and blow up your mine killing anybody walking through it like a big claymore that is harder to detect (if you can hide the mine behind cover). Even better, sometimes the mine can go off accidently and somehow kill friendlies.
Not just smoke but all the visual distortion including sonic traps, sonic drone, blinding Light drone, drone swarms, smoke and artillery call ins. But fear not, every once in a while you can see a real enemy with out a spotting arrow first. Been playing since the Alpha and was impressed in the beginning. But the more I play the more frustrating I find it. We also went from BF4 like movement to COD bunny hopping, pre-firing corners and belly crawlers in smoke. It is becoming a cheesy hacker friendly mess sadly. All I can hope is that EA and DICE can actually learn from another developer copying their mistakes and failing.
It's worse than CoD: ua-cam.com/video/oca6T71RKhE/v-deo.htmlsi=zNHuhXd6Gmaj1nW_ Lol But the thing is that most issues here can be fixed with some fine tuning, while BF2042 would need to be redone from zero to be good.
Honestly for warfare they need to limit the amount of players in class, been seeing too many recons, medics and assault not doing their jobs and getting mowed by vehicles they can't or aren't destroying. Assault: 13 Medic: 8 Engineer: 7 Recon: 4 This would be healthy vehicle destruction, plenty of res's, maybe force and reduce the number of scans flying, and healthy front line for both obj pushes and vehicle destruction assists.
1. Turn off ability's in warfare. Doing this will allow them to make more unique abilities in ops mode 2. More recoil. Lmgs can't play there intended rolls because other types are better due to being able to be mobile and have Lazer beam like accuracy. 3. 1 class should have smokes. These imo should be the first changes
Balance and operators aside, I dont think they will do much to change the game for the Battlefield clone/Warfare mode. It is there to attempt to capture and try to hold parts of the COD/Battlefield community. DF dev focus seems to mainly be the "Streamer Friendly" Extraction mode. Even if all of these issues mentioned were to be solved, DF still has all of the issues 2042 had at launch, plus more. Cant join friends mid game, cant manage your squad, no way to map select, no server browser, no custom games, no community or platoon support, ETC. As well as these issues, its also extremely light on maps. 5 maps at launch (for the Battlefield mode), next map not coming til March/April, then the next another 3/4 months after that. DF gets a big free pass as its FTP, which is fair enough and understandable. But for all the hype it got/is getting...if a Battlefield game, even a FTP one released in this state, it would be crucified.
All very true. I think a big part of that as you say, is the F2P factor, but also that Battlefield is held in such high regard - they always have big boots to fill. On the other hand, I didn't have any expectations for Delta Force at all, so was actually pleasantly surprised. That being said, it only really has to stay entertaining enough until the next BF rolls around, and if that turns out to be worse than Delta Force then that'll honestly be on EA.
My top 3 reason why i dont play: * Operators and their gadgets, they need to be gone in Warfare. * Footsteps or the absolute lack of them in Warfare. (dying over and over for the sole reason that you cant hear other players is just too frustrating) * "Screen Spam" (i despise it so hard that its and instant quit)
Yes sir. Right on the dot. Same for me. This needs to be addressed ASAP. Even before the cheater problem. I can personally play a game with limited amount of cheaters but I cannot play a game with operators, screen shake, and bad footsteps audio (audio in general).
2:55 What they need to do is remove all operators (abilities gadsets what not and keep classes) from the warfare mode. Why? It's not just smoke, rest of the operators also have toxic abilities. Edit: Viewed the entire video and pretty much agree with all but the first part. Which is, again, don't nerf operators but remove operators from warfare mode. Want to add 1 more thing to the list. That is, bad footstep audio. Bad audio in general. Cannot hear footsteps during gunfights or with light surround noise. Cannot hear vehicles (from behind sometimes).
@@davidgcosta You see the thing about SBMM is that all the other things are making it worse. Beamy weapons, toxic operators, constant ability spams, overpowered snipers, campy vehicles, etc. If they remove all the other toxic things from the warfare mode, I don't think the current implementation of SBMM is strong enough to make the experience worse. Especially if it truly is 2 bracket SBMM. (I don't trust them, but I also don't have proof that there are more than 2 brackets of SBMM. Feeling something is not proof.) That being said, I do agree with you that right now SBMM (along with other things) has made the experience very bad. I quit playing the game because it is just not fun.
I agree about sound queue. Cannot ever hear a footstep if its not pitch silent. But they ain't gonna remove operator abilities whatsoever cuz if they do they wont be able to sell skins.
@@caydenph2741 I usually don’t click on links in comments but honestly after seeming THAT, I want to say I’m shocked but I’m not I’m just disappointed 😭😂 the fact his ability recharges on 1 kill is stupid lol
Skill issue. They are assault after all and are supposed to help make space for team pushes to obj. Not everyone who picks Vyron or D wolf can play like this. On the other hand, Luna needs rework to her arrow which requires 0 skills yet free wall hacks in a large radius. Combine multiple Luna who fire arrows one after another and you always know where every enemy is. THAT is frustrating. Getting scanned every 10 seconds.
The engineers trophy turrent is great to use on shafted. It disrupts some of the grenade spam. After three activations it goes into cooldown though. It is far from useless but on the big open maps with lots of vehicles coming at you, it is not a good pick. It is for cqb in tight maps where there are no vehicles.
With tanks they definitely need to make it so you either HAVE to leave the spawn, or so tank shells lose accuracy over range. It doesn't have to make sense, its a balance issue.
movement speed didn't fix the tanks in BF 2042, it just acused the people who yoloed to yolo faster and die. nobody with an IQ above 5 will push in a tank in BF 2042, because everyone and their grandmother can just run up to it, have tea for an hour in front of their machine gun, and after they get tired of eating 50 cals to the face, and finally decide to blow up the tank, they'll do that while calling their grandmother on the phone and leisurely walking away. Vehicles are utter trash in the modern warfare, same with helicopters, I love seeing them because I know its a free massive point spike to my name. Vehicles should be like they are in BF1, durable but not impossible to deal with, but will take a little focus from your team to completely eliminate. Right now in both Delta Force, and BF you sneeze in their direction and you've killed it. Besides the AA tank, and other bad limiters on AA missiles that should be buffed, they are fine in Delta Force.. You shouldn't be going neck deep in infantry like you're saying, you are doing your job staying just behind the infantry line and lighting up the enemy. I also disagree that heli's need nerfs in Delta Force. AA just needs to have more of a lock on range than a measly 400, but not too much. Around 500 should be fine.
The FINAL update for BF4 (a game I played for *YEARS*) included a Spread increase Per Second (SIPS) adjustment in battlefield 4 fucking RUINED that game for me. I'm still so extremely salty about that. It 100% ruined the gunplay of that game.
The worst feature in MY opinion that affect the games "attractiveness" for New players(Besides Cheaters) are the fact as for me who started 2 days ago my weapon fires Much slower and the recoil is massive compared to those who have advanced and tweaked their guns just like you have here. We have almost NO chance of survival or to even get in a kill as there is simply not enough time to fire. This feature may seem fun and all but it seriously makes the game Very much unbalanced. In a Real battle situation the newer guys would NEVER get the worst guns(Pea-Shooters). The recoil is a natural feature when firing guns and not something you can get rid of in reality. the whole point is to learn HOW to shoot in short bursts and account for the bullet drop versus recoil like we are all used to since forever. We newcomers can't even really help at all in the game as it is now. More or less spend the rounds waiting for someone to eventually revive us, time and again until the round is over. It really seems like they intentionally made the game for Teenagers/Kids and NOT for anyone over like 20-30 as we are used to a Completely other way of playing these kinds of games(Battlefield and so on). Not just hotting up a gun until you have no recoil simply picking off "sitting ducks" match after match. I seriously can't see what would be so very entertaining with that(Like using cheats in Counter-Strike). Or are people nowadays so absolutely terrible at playing these kinds of games that they more or less Need this kind of features for their guns in order to hit something?. It's a shame really
Vehicles in the right hands destroy games in BF4/2042, one good heli pilot or tanker is untouchable raking up high kills and making points untouchable as infantry at times. limit the time a pilot can have access to fly/drive a heli or tank (one per round) then there may be some more balance to game play than the team kill rape that goes on during certain games.
I didnt mind it the first week or so, but playing with the same maybe 400 players can get tiring. I'm Marshall rank, have a 3.1 overall KD, usually top 3 in score every match, so I basically only match with other top percentile skill level players. There's a reason that people like Enders and FocusBF are getting so frustrated: when they're playing, they're getting the same experience as me. When those top level streamers are live, I will be put in their games pretty much every single time just because I live in the same country. Again, I just see the same literal 300 MAYBE 400 players in my games every time I que up, and everyone is a try hard sweat like me. I don't *want* to farm noobs, I just want variety!
2 thins NEED to be changed before we consider coming back. 1) SBMM has to be removed and 2) you have to be able to join with more than just 4 friends. If those things are not BOTH addressed, then we will not even reinstall the game.
I highly disagree with weapon spread. It introduces randomness that isn’t needed. I’d rather them increase recoil which can be combatted by using the right attachments which would require you to maybe not use a suppressor and use a compensator instead. Adding randomness to recoil is one of the things I hate with modern gaming. Just give trade offs instead
Good suggestions, but I'd argue with some: 1. Aslong game doesn't have thermal scopes smokes are fine as is. Bf 4 had smokes and on small maps they was the same as here, but you could slam thermals on your lmg with bipods and just lay inside on the belly. Half of the lobby had smokes because you can't push without them and half had flares to blind thermals, very entertaining. 2. Definitely needs changes, maybe up c/d time atleast. 3. It's not a glitch It's a way how they made it, didn't bother me, but reworking it is a good idea. 4. Random spread is s horrible idea Dice did it and it's sucked, literally everyone was whining about it. I agree with everything else to some extent, but don't forget how helicopters was in beta, good pilot could wipe whole lobby and AA was losing 1v1.
I don't know if I'm biased or the devs are, but all "Chinese" thing in this game are more powerful than the other, take the weapons for example, the CI-19 and the QBZ, both are Chinese assault rifle, have extremely good stats and recoil, and Vyron who has very high instant mobility and the ability to destroy armored vehicles while being an assault class, which has access to the most weapons, including both the above mentioned ARs.
I know this is basically fundamental to game and would take a complete rework but can they take out the “operators” from warfare and make classes? Operators belong in operation
Ngl you're better off going to Battlefield. The whole "operator needs to go" and "there should only be in certain modes" is just stupid. What these type of takes scream is "im shit so i will blame the other players class choice". This is how ik you aint thinking "Operators belong in operations" dawg yk their kits have been the biggest issue right?. At that point i would agree with the remover operators in general and have a neutral class like in battlefield.
Bro classes require choice too and some sort of strategies. You are right about the operator choice but it belongs in operations. Operators in warfare lead to useless/unpopular abilities and spam of the good ones. If players are only going to use a few operators anyway what is the difference from classes? Also devs have to come up with some bs ability for every new operator they add.
@@mohamedb8562 what they need to implement is limited number of classes per team in warfare. Again you're better off going back to battlefield. Abilities havent proven to be OP in any way, the only one i see being a problem is lunas arrow. Plus that last one you mentioned is honestly just cognitive failure. Future modes they add will promote use of other characters, if anything minor buffs and nerfs are what are needed.
Happy New Year! A big thing for me is the Battlepass XP limit. This is the first game I have played where you have a weekly battlepass limit to the XP you can earn. They should either increase the XP cap, or remove it entirely. Havent really heard any reasoning behind why they would cap it, so there might be areason for this, but it is annoying.
Its interesting how vastly different the experience is for different players. When me and my squadmates dont destroy enemie vehicles, nobody on my team will. Most of the game there is 2-3 vehicle from the beginning to the end of the round but the moment i enter one it wont stay alive for more than 10sec. It would be nice if only stinger has the 2 smoke grenades. Way too much smoke and always inside the own member instead of smoking the enmies. Recon too many points? In my Game the worst players are always recon players - sitting in the spawn and doing nothing all game long. And Medic should already start revieving players. its way too often that there are at least 2 medics not even 5m away from me but refuse to revive and instead just running away being useless. i get it that you cant always help mates up but its rediculus how many attacker tickets are wasted because of medics. If you dont want to revive mates, then play another class
Some form of cover penetration im not sayin a weapon should be able to punch through solid concrete or sandbags but you shouldnt be able to just hide behind the thinnest palm tree or street sign without anything to fear same goes for drivers inside of their vehicles
There needs to be no lock on range limit with the Javelins and stingers. Also it’s not an anti air turret?? It’s a ads to stop grenades and projectiles
There needs to be limit or air vehicles are useless. Nobody wants to fly a helicopter if the moment you spawn you're insta locked by 9 Stingers. What a completely brain rot take.
I'd like a hardcore mode, with limited GUI, realistic weapons and no specials and servers with admins, this would solve a lot of issues I don't get the headglitching issue, when you bring a gun up to aim, it is, in fact, at head height, unless people are talking about hire fire also coming from head height, it's just the animations need to show this, that is the issue.
They're going to add thermal scopes.....which imo is a big mistake. They just shouldn't have given so many operators smoke grenades. Only the one support dude should have had it. So the thermal scopes feel like a bandaid.
I've been playing for a while. But helicopters in the right hands are too strong.Especially on the Ascension map.The enemy took a helicopter and sits above 500 m. height. His weapons have no problem hitting you. And you have nothing to respond with. The AA guns on the map are slow and he easily dodges them at this height. The personal AA missile that the operator may be carrying cannot engage him either.I don't even know the range, but somewhere around 450m. and up does not want. You also can't get hold of a helicopter to take his out.And he sits in sky and you can't do anything to him
The Recon Arrow literally prevents you from actually *playing* the damn game. It's absurd the arrow made it to its current state after all the feedback from the alphas. It's a joke.
Smoke spam... Hero like abilities like Luna's detection wall hack arrow... and worst of all. Lack of Server Browser and maps. Just not worth the frustration and kills the fun, I uninstalled it. If the next BF is like this it's in an instant no buy for me and my friends.
*squad members seem to run past my body yet team members rush to your aid. *vehicles are very poor. *unfamiliar players just constantly spamming their abilities for cheap points for the hope of a missile. *need the ability to change squads. *leaving the game after every map ends is utter crap. "I can't go make a cuppa team while the next map loads" there's more but.....others will cover
For the smoke, I think they should do it so that when ever there is a certain amount of smoke in an area, the smoke won't open. u will lose it but no smoke opens some u can't only have much nmoke in a radios like 15m can only have 3smokes active
I disagree about the vehicles somewhat. Tanks themselves should not generally get into the action. They are basically anit-armor artillery pieces and should not be as effective at destroying exposed infantry. They should be extremely good at destroying buildings and other armored vehicles. I think tanks are reasonably balanced, but they are too good against infantry at range. They need a buff to their anti armor capabilities and maybe should have better acceleration and turn rate. Tanks should stand no chance against enemy infantry at close to medium range, due to manpads. IFV's however should be fast and manueverable, effective at close to medium range against infantry and lightly armored vehicles. Perfect for getting into the action fast. They have weak guns in Delta Force that reload slowly and are super ineffective. Lightly armored vehicles should be the fastest, effective at dealing with infantry. They are bad in Delta Force right now. Slow, clunky and you can't shoot drivers out of them? Specialized vehicles like the tank destroyer should be glass cannons. Fast and good damage against armored vehicles, but dead in two or three shots. I think the armored destroyer in Delta Force is too tanky and a bit too slow.
Not just this game, but Battlefield as well, needs server browser. I played 10 matches and got 3 different maps, 5 of them the same one and all on defense. Agree with every point in the video. Menus everywhere, smoke gadget spam vehicles weird af
• Custom HUD color • Custom flag UI scale • If you are a vehicle player you can't see where the missile coming from • Mini-map faster update for now it feels like 15fps mini-map. • Loitering Munition (Uluru Gadget) BIG icon can be seen at any range any angle, in BF2042 you can only see the Lis's missile that coming toward you.
I agree smoke is nuts. reduce it to support class grenades and call it a day. i have a few things that drive me nuts. Vehicles sitting in spawn and not being able to do anything about it. That needs to end immediately. I dont even care how. make is to vehicles wont shoot in the starting zones or something. SMGs some how being more OP than rifles at range is bananas. Example: the AK74 range is around 30 meters. HK416 is 20m. AK74 has better stats in every single category compared to the HK416, smg45 is better in every category except stability.
Delta Force has filled the void that Battlefield 3 and 4 left, filling the gap as a large-scale, modern first person shooter. However, I agree with every point you made in your video, and like many others, it's because of those reasons you mentioned (and a few others) I'll be uninstalling Delta Force and returning to Battlefield once its next installment is released.
Yeah honestly I don't know if Delta Force is going to be able to survive, at least the Warfare mode once the next Battlefield comes out. Then again it depends entirely on if DICE and EA cock it up this time around or not!
People and their toxic sense of self preservation,,,, meaning,,,, God forbid they, as a whole team push through the smoke to stop the senseless camping battles that happen in this game. Sure, some will die... but it's a game... it doesn't hurt in real life. Stop sitting in hallways spamming smokes and explosives. Rush through and overcome the enemies by mass.
As you said initially its not been out for a month yet. Give it time and constructive feedback to devs and we will build a game that will stand the test of time. Hackclaw also causes a temp visual disturbance when hacking and her flash drone follows one of the lines of the players found. Each of the operators all have there positive traits and strengths, you trade one ability for another. RE: Smoke grenades, great if your medic and need to revive or want to be revived, absolutely essential on more open maps to get away into cover, dont see the problem with them at all. Yes it can be a bit OTT at times just push and or flank dont sit in a corridor! Vehicles are ok, except not having a practice mode thats customizable. Helis are OP and modern AA veh can shoot 1km or more, so its a trade off. The only thing i agree with is the so called head glitch. Surely the bullets come from the gun not the eyes or chest?? Although seen it less and less recently. Kill cam is a must imho. Dont get the menu issue, FPS drops are insane sometimes making it almost unplayable even on low ping, sometimes drop from 220fps to 30 fps., then shoot back up, then drop to 140, constantly changing dramatically, much bigger issue than anything imho. Im using high end gpu and 240hz monitor, good internet speeds/ethernet obvs, makes no sense how erratic it is.
%100 agree with you. From start to end. My first 3 complaints are wallhack ability, smokes and headglitches and you counted em at first 3. I'm being frustrated already just because of these 3 things and there is so much more... I love the idea and work ethic of the develoeprs but they need to think like a gamer. Hoping the best for DF
I couldn't agree more with you. I believe that especially Luna's arrow thing, is definitely a legitimate cheat - wall hack. These things as abilities are mostly well known from Call of Duty that is for little kids. Other than that I feel like I ll wait for the next Battlefield game. Delta Force is not fun and has many miles to walk till it becomes a fair and also fun game.
Id like to offer cracked, as much as i dont enjoy the visual impairment amount in this game, the line drone smoke is necessary to push out of doorways and hallways that are getting choked.
one thing i faced constantly is the defense holding all entry points with unlimited smoke n nade spam. hackclaw desperately needs buff. snipers are only useful against another sniper or engineers. Both sr n mr suks in almost ever maps. Also i feel like there was a nerf/change in trench map attackers sniper position.
Why doesn't anyone mention the absolutely worst AUDIO in any fps-game??? Truthfully, in the better days of multiplayer fps, this game would be greeted with a shrug and then it would be forgotten.
Luna's spotting arrow need's completely removed from the game along with her passive ability where when she shoot's you or you get hit by any damage from her you're spotted through the walls an easy rework would be to give her a drone that she can manually fly and spot enemies with not like the wall hack spot but like a normal ping spot, that way she'd have to at least manually put in the work also replace her grenade why does a recon class, that deal's with long range engagements need a grenade? replace her grenade with dwolf's smoke and give him her grenade to help bring down some of the smoke spam on the front lines, also increase the muzzel velocity for the sniper rifle's and buff dmr's the SVD the strongest dmr in the game take's 3 headshots and 4 body shot's to kill someone passed only 100 meters thats pathetic considering the 357 revolver remain a two shot headshot and 3 bodyshot killer pass 150 meters the revolver actually performs better then all the dmrs in the game single shot dmg wise lol
Happy New Year mate! I tried the game after watching your earlier DF video's and just uninstalled it after 40 hours because mostly of the reasons you highlighted. The final straw is the toxicity seeping into the game chat, too old for that foolishness. They got their $9.99 battle pass money from me which was quite fair for the amount of time I played but I don't work all day to play a game to sweat.
When it comes to tanks and other armored vehicle's, the concept of pushing up with the infantry and parking on objectives is extremely counter to their design and irl usage. The last place you want to take a heavy armored vehicle is into a close quarters confined space as it both turns you into a sitting duck for anyone with rpgs or explosives, and it also limits you ability to fire at targets. A tanks primary role on the battlefield is to provide ranged fire support against hard targets and counter enemy armor. If anything the thing they should do is limit the amount of rounds you have access to to start with and then add a longer cool down, so the tanks have to pull back and regroup occasionally instead of just sitting on a hill the entire match. To be clear I am not saying they need to go to the extreme like battlefield 5 and force you to retreat back to your base to go sit on the resupply box, just nerff the rounds slightly so you need to prioritise your shots more.
Its a game my guy. If you want a realistic representation of vehicle tactics, forget you will ever see F35 or other 5th generation fighters. Vehicles in game should be, above all, fun to play both as drivers and as enemy infantry. Sitting on a hill a kilometer away from action is no fun for either driver or opponents. By making main cannon cool down longer you will only completely kill any other playstyle except sitting on a hill which will still be the same. You will simply kill fewer enemies...
@@chrisuuu393 as someone with thousands of hours of gameplay experience across the battlefield franchise, im not just talking about irl effectiveness. The instant you close the distance in a tank you increase the chances of getting taken out exponentially, and driving onto an objective is a near guaranteed respawn. Friendly infantry just cannot be consistently relied upon to cover you when you try and drive onto the point. Any knowledgeable driver will resort to the "sit on a hill" strategy because experience shows it's the best way of keeping alive and supporting the team. You accomplish nothing by driving onto the point just to be taken out 30 seconds later by someone with c4 or an rpg. Even if you buffed the tanks to be more maneuverable and be more effective in close quarters, it does nothing to counter the downsides of driving onto the point directly and would only serve to be a flat buff to the tank, and do nothing to prevent more experienced players from sitting on a hill. The only way to fix the problem would be if there was a shift in how players approached the game and they started providing more support to tanks, but there is no real way of forcing that to happen.
i dont think you understand the usage of tanks irl, their primary usage is to be an primary offensive infantry support tool how can they support their infantry if they are sitting 100m behind friendlies thats what the artillery/mortars are for. in cqc infantry and tanks are next to eachother cause guess what what if theres enemies dug down on a objective if only you have a tank 1m from you that can shoot them oh wait you do. tanks irl dont really snipe like they do in battlefield unless it depends on the terrain if its open fields than they will but if its mountainous than they cant. this is typically why in battlefield people who snipe in tanks lose matches than those who play tanks following their team cause eachother covers eachothers weaknesses
@@toastybread419gaming Most modern tank engagements irl take place distances of multiple miles. Tanks haven't operated as direct infantry support since ww2 There was a small window of time during the start of the middle east wars where tanks were deployed alongside infantry units but this quickly fell out of favor again for the above stated reasons. I'm honestly not sure where your getting your information from but you clearly dont understand the history of armored warfare. When it comes to ingame, yes a well organised team that is working together will do better than a team that is not, that's just a given. In the overwhelming majority of matches players do not co-oporate, and will routinely abandon their team to go solo, or just constantly bumrush the most hotly contested objective point with no regard for strategy or teamwork. for a tanker to play the objective, they must have infantry support and as i've already stated that is extremely rare and inconsistent. if you want tankers to stop camping, then maybe spawn into ones squad and play a supporting role for them, then they will be more likely to want to push up.
@@SPITSPHIRE_GAMING armies still use tanks in urban warfare its a major component albeit they are probably not the ones you thinking of like the m1 abrams or the t14 but they use lightly more maneuverable armoured tanks that are designed for urban combat to help aid in urban combat if you want even in the russia-ukraine war tanks are still being used in urban warfare although their roles have changed to provide fire support and suppressing enemies but with tactics and used effectively can win a urban combat. now for gameplay you are right about teams are random and wont play like that but i play flex if you are tank player ill play engineer and everytime i see tanks needing repairs ill repair them and after some time of doing this they will stop sniping and eventually start following the team more closely now if you need me to play tanker i will and ill play as far back as 15m behind my team providing support and eventually my team will start pushing up with me using me as cover and such they will start relying on me
AA is a bit OP but I'm learning how to avoid it. The zoom on the Heli's is really good so you can usually spot the AA from a safe distance and either avoid it or sneal up on it. Cracked is a difficult map to heli on i think.
Spread is needed to make gunfights fair and reduce beaming Not wanting spread is like wanting to play with cod disgustingly op aim assist Spread adds abit of skill instead of just beaming and praying... It's a fair opinion they just need little bit of spread and not much so it doesn't ruin the game
@baldgaming90 Adding spread does the opposite. If you want to reduce beams then add more severe damage drop off. Penalizing players with random spread makes better players worse and bad players bad.
If there would be less Smoke i think everybody on the defender Side would just hold their explosives back to spam in the Smoke bc they know they definetly have to push through that now bc they not get it back soon. With how the Maps are designed the Smokespam is kinda necessary imo. Lunas Bow could counter just that and it would be still viable. Maybe make the bow detection time shorter but qicker so thats also more a momentum thing.
There is no "casual" or ranked mode in that sense. The ranked mode has absolutely nothing to do with your skill as player but rather your ability to gain points in the game. SBMM is the least of problems with this game.
Happy new year! Between the specialists and the things you criticized in this video I'm going to keep avoiding the game. I don't see it as a Battlefield killer without a metric ton of changes. It will be a decent F2P alternative to the Hazard Zone though.
So the smoke wont be an issue. They are adding thermals to the game next patch. :) I see your point with the spam but there is a skill in hit marker tracing players running in smoke.
Vehicle gameplay is horrible. You do too much damage but you can get almost insta killed by launchers & helis. Both sides need to be nerfed so the vehicle combat has more depth & people stop seating in their spawn because they can shoot far/are afraid to get insta killed
The sounds, Sometimes I get shot by a tank 10m away from me, but I did not hear it at all. Or footstep audio, sometimes I hear them but most of the time I don't. When I hear them it's hard to tell from which direction.
I started playing the extraction mode, but after a month, frustration, anger, and hackers, especially hackers, I stopped playing that mode and now I only play the "Warfare" mode, which I have fun and doesn't stress me out so much because I'm not losing my precious loot because a hacker kills me
Completely with you on AA and the need to rework vehicle movement. The only map where a Heli stands a chance is Threshold due to the Renewal style wall splitting the map in half and giving you cover. Re: the EMP launcher, I've had success with it. Try equipping it with Wang Yi, shoot it at a tank, burst in and slap the magnetic C5. You can one-pass an MPT doing that.
11:08 the fact that you can see the direction that someone is locking on to you at is just ridiculous to me dont get me wrong you should get a warning that your being locked on but haveing the excact direction that its comeing from is just bs game mechanics and for example every time i use that god dam javalin to lock onto a tank i have to stand there perfectly still and wait 5+ sec for it to lock on only to be shot in the back by someone or have the tank lob a round at my face because he knows exactly where i am and befor anyone says a recon can spot the tank for the javalin yeas i know this i have asked for someone to lock onto to it and i wallways have to take up tank busting myself all the time because no one else wants to do it
Totally agree with everything, but you forgot the horrible sounddesign of footsteps. People can literally jump on your head and you wouldn't hear them. Also very hard to hear were bullets are coming from. In Battlefield and can hear were people are and also were bullerts are coming from. I feel like this is a bit better in Operation mode. Don't like the operators in both gamemodes. Yesterday I got killed in Operation by the guy with the camera rocket that was behind a wall.
A game where players use smoke and now people are complaining, makes no sense, 2042 more smoke is needed. Yeah Pike wall hack was the worst decision ever for 2042. All the wall hack gotta go.
Content creator global nerfs never fix anything. And creates more problems then fix. All they have to do is fix the major issue(s) on a per map basis. And buff assets as needed.
I disagree about AA. it heat very quickly so you will be lucky to kill small heli fast but you can't kill attack heli before it can flee. when heli flee they went off the map behind the hills trees etc. if you loose mark on them that's it they are safe. your example on 1 map 1 case is not good enough. also if heli fly above AA then AA can't do anything to you, only miserably die...
Half the abilities are even worse in extraction lol, Warfare your individual life doesn't matter its a respawn mode with nothing to lose but in extraction Luna's scan is annoying, especially as a solo, Vyrons's ultimate that throws anyone on their back for long enoigh to die 3 times over, a guided rocket that has mini explosions after? The upcoming operator sounds like a nightmare for an extraction mode
I agree to some degree with the smokes, but with how open most of the maps are, smokes are the only way I can get to the obj and push since I dont use vehicles. Subjective of course.
@GhostGamingg I actually want to point out, try playing shafted without smokes. I play king of the hill to avoid getting stuck in linear attack lines, but they made this map KOTH and it sucks. But you absolutely need the line smoke to push out of a hallway that's just getting bullet and nade spammed
OMG I thank you so much for bringing up this issue. Its really the most frustrating issue in the game for me. So a firefight starts and immediately YOUR team lays down smoke from three or four operators and you absoultely cannot see the enemy for at least 30 seconds. What is the point or purpose in that. At the end of the smoke you are still in the same position. You got nowhere!
Appreciate the detailed feedback and suggestions♥Lots of good stuff on the horizon for 2025, including optimizations and improvements.
great. Im hesitant to play on ps5 now. I hope things are fixed.
u guys gotta nerf luna bro please 😭😭
@DeltaForceGame if you delay the console version until summer, then that's a big miss because it's too close to battlefield release.. I will lose interest in playing and I am sure a lot of people will. Iim not waiting until summer. If the console version comes out in the summer, it's going to fail on console.
@@str8boogerflikn102 they are being really transparent about the console release
@Exelilr13 Well, they waited a few days before the mobile release and pushed that out until summer. I am expecting the same for console.
I get melted by AR’s up close when I have an SMG and I get melted by SMG’s at range when I have an AR. Makes perfect sense.
Fr dude . I thoug i was the only one whit that problem
Yeah I agree they have no identity, you can get a great hip-fire AR or a fantastic ranged SMG it's just about how you kit it out.
@@GhostGamingghi new here will come to ps5
I watched the tournaments, nobody used snipers..
Why use Snipers when smgs are jack of all trades, monster at close, monster at medium, monster at long range.
Essentially if u play anything other than an smg, you are at a disadvantage.
Agreed. And it's a huge issue. SMG's should not outperform AR's are medium to long range. Over all the game is just very badly balanced.
totally, the devs could at least include underslug nades in the assault rifles
Meanwhile marksman rifles are also very bad at what they're supposed to do. At the very least they need twice the damage drop off and higher headshot multipliers.
@@YCNJSN Not definately this. I mean really, this is the worst idea to solve the issue.
Lol, the MR 24 Mini dominates. People don't know how to snipe and SMG's really aren't that great long range at all.
Reduce the number of currencies. Why do I need a ticket for this, a key for that, and bronze coins for this, and silver coins for that, and so on?
It's all about hiding how much things actually cost in real money.
Totally agree, that being said I'm not sure how many of these they will actually work on but we'll see.
Hey Ghost... You need to mention a call-out for the smoke barrier and artillery when playing in Shafted map which is underground..
Its just too much combining with smoke spamming..and doesent make any sense when you are deep underground😮
And second thing, Delta Force is going to implement thermal scopes that can see through all smoke grenades.
Biggest issue is you cant use audio to tell where shots are coming from either.
This honestly just sounds like a player issue. B'cuz you defo can the only times you wouldn't be able to is if you're literally pushing a whole 5+ ppl.
Yeah I don't have this issue either, are people using 3D audio with their headphones in the game settings, because that helps a tone!
@@shingoji-i3n like i told the other dude, you're speaking logic to a fully grown toddler, cognitive functions are optional to that dude
All I can hope is that EA and DICE can actually learn from another developer copying their mistakes and failing.
you forgot to mention drop shotting and the lean left-right spam..
Yep you covered e rrything that's wrong there i agree, just one other thing vehicle spamming on objectives is just tiresome and needs to be nerfed
It's worse than CoD: ua-cam.com/video/oca6T71RKhE/v-deo.htmlsi=zNHuhXd6Gmaj1nW_
Lol
But the thing is that most issues here can be fixed with some fine tuning, while BF2042 would need to be redone from zero to be good.
You missed explosive spam from rocket launchers, grenades and the throwable c4 that assault character has. But yeah it's getting pretty unbearable.
Great comment man.
Honestly for warfare they need to limit the amount of players in class, been seeing too many recons, medics and assault not doing their jobs and getting mowed by vehicles they can't or aren't destroying.
Assault: 13
Medic: 8
Engineer: 7
Recon: 4
This would be healthy vehicle destruction, plenty of res's, maybe force and reduce the number of scans flying, and healthy front line for both obj pushes and vehicle destruction assists.
Spread is an awful mechanic. Just increase the recoil or increase bullet drop.
For the detection arrow, just stand still or quickly go prone and don't move lol
Smoke spam = add thermal scope
Coming in S2
I haven't touched the game in a few weeks. I enjoy it but each match is so sweaty that I can't sit back and relax
Yea Thats happening a Lot now
1. Turn off ability's in warfare. Doing this will allow them to make more unique abilities in ops mode
2. More recoil. Lmgs can't play there intended rolls because other types are better due to being able to be mobile and have Lazer beam like accuracy.
3. 1 class should have smokes.
These imo should be the first changes
They need to fix the damn netcode/lag comp. Another game where I’m punished for having good internet.
Dropped a 72 kill game and guess what was different? I had a 300ms delay images of my typical 30.
Its crazy how over complicated they make games.
Fr . Some times i miss the simplicity of Battlefield 3-4
5 maps at launch
(for the Battlefield mode), next map not coming til March/April, then the next another 3/4 months after that.
DF gets a big free pass as its FTP, which is fair enough and understandable. But for all the hype it got/is getting...if a Battlefield game, even a FTP one released in this state, it would be crucified.
A BF game wouldn't be crucified if it was FTP, not even BF2042.
My top 3 reason why i dont play:
* Operators and their gadgets, they need to be gone in Warfare.
* Footsteps or the absolute lack of them in Warfare. (dying over and over for the sole reason that you cant hear other players is just too frustrating)
* "Screen Spam" (i despise it so hard that its and instant quit)
Yes sir. Right on the dot.
Same for me.
This needs to be addressed ASAP. Even before the cheater problem.
I can personally play a game with limited amount of cheaters but I cannot play a game with operators, screen shake, and bad footsteps audio (audio in general).
2:55
What they need to do is remove all operators (abilities gadsets what not and keep classes) from the warfare mode.
Many times I cannot even hear the fire of my own weapon...its like 90 % muted
@@halrichard1969 Yeah, everything is very muffled in this game for some reason.
Audio and SBMM are the main reasons this game is no fun.
Feeling something is not proof.)
That being said, I do agree with you that right now SBMM (along with other things) has made the experience very bad. I quit playing the game because it is just not fun.
I agree about sound queue. Cannot ever hear a footstep if its not pitch silent. But they ain't gonna remove operator abilities whatsoever cuz if they do they wont be able to sell skins.
DWolf and Vyron are so damn ability spammy sometimes lol
@@cjhorton123 Found the Vyron player.
@@blalhoihreufoutskilled
@@blalhoihreuf Funny. Nope, I play medic primarily.
Operaters are a curse on large-scale FPS games... The trend needs to die
Head Glitching , Smoke , Spammy operators , stuttery movement ... will come back when its addressed
7:07 HELL NO KEEP THAT SHIT IN BATTLEFIELD
Good suggestions, but I'd argue with some:
@@mohamedb8562 actually enlighten me why do the operators only need to be in operations?
the COD bunny hopping, the SMG spams, the camping.....soo much needs adjusted...
Their reasoning is essentially ''to make sure we don't play too much''.
I'd like a hardcore mode, with limited GUI, realistic weapons and no specials and servers with admins, this would solve a lot of issues
I don't get the headglitching issue, when you bring a gun up to aim, it is, in fact, at head height, unless people are talking about hire fire also coming from head height, it's just the animations need to show this, that is the issue.
You also can't get hold of a helicopter to take his out.And he sits in sky and you can't do anything to him
detection arrow is a good balance to counter the players who are using external wallhacks
"I can't go make a cuppa team while the next map loads"
there's more but.....others will cover
Cool downs is all that needs to be adjusted.. Its just way too much, way too fast, way too often. This goes for both BF mode and Operations
They need to put the test your gun in the gun range ribbon on the page where you calibrate your gun not just the one where you change the attachments.
Not just this game, but Battlefield as well, needs server browser. I played 10 matches and got 3 different maps, 5 of them the same one and all on defense.
Agree with every point in the video. Menus everywhere, smoke gadget spam vehicles weird af
The spread change actually ruined 2042 imo. Gun play was sooo much more satisfying before it.
• Custom HUD color
• Custom flag UI scale
• If you are a vehicle player you can't see where the missile coming from
• Mini-map faster update for now it feels like 15fps mini-map.
You let people choose what grenade they want and no one picks smoke, just like battlefield.
What needs fixing is able to select map you wanna play. I been trying to play cracked for 6 days, haven't had any luck.
0:16 Can you share that gun and build please?
I couldn't agree more with you. I believe that especially Luna's arrow thing, is definitely a legitimate cheat - wall hack. These things as abilities are mostly well known from Call of Duty that is for little kids. Other than that I feel like I ll wait for the next Battlefield game. Delta Force is not fun and has many miles to walk till it becomes a fair and also fun game.
Imagine a shooter game where bullets come out of the gun and not the player
Id like to offer cracked, as much as i dont enjoy the visual impairment amount in this game, the line drone smoke is necessary to push out of doorways and hallways that are getting choked.
I counter smoke by using the m157 scope in every gun it tracks and marks the enemy so you can shoot evn through the smoke.
one thing i faced constantly is the defense holding all entry points with unlimited smoke n nade spam.
hackclaw desperately needs buff.
snipers are only useful against another sniper or engineers.
Facts.
Yeah I completely agree the footstep audio is really bad, I barely hear anyone.
Happy new year! Totally understandable man.
Tanks haven't operated as direct infantry support since ww2
There was a small window of time during the start of the middle east wars where tanks were deployed alongside infantry units but this quickly fell out of favor again for the above stated reasons.
Cracked is a difficult map to heli on i think.
the magnet mine spam at every objective is really cancer.
I'm a tank main and like to push with my crew but it is undoable in this game, same for 2042. You have to play extremely smart if you push in any way.
Yeah, add weapon spread, the one thing that ruins any FPS. Awful opinion.
Spread is needed to make gunfights fair and reduce beaming
Not wanting spread is like wanting to play with cod disgustingly op aim assist
Spread adds abit of skill instead of just beaming and praying...
What about completely removing SBMM from casual 32v32 all out warfare game so every match doesn't feel like tournament sweat fest?
There is no "casual" or ranked mode in that sense. The ranked mode has absolutely nothing to do with your skill as player but rather your ability to gain points in the game. SBMM is the least of problems with this game.
Already uninstalled, just feels so cheap. Looks good but don't like the gameplay at all
Happy new year!
I see your point with the spam but there is a skill in hit marker tracing players running in smoke.
i want a battle rifle asa medic.. gimi a semi auto mid damage gun
Yep. Sound needs rework as well. I agree.
Ngl i dont understand the audio issues. Cus i've been hearing everything, i havent yet lost audio like i do in apex
0:36 All those WHAT frustrations? (Yes I know, I'm just joking here)
A game where players use smoke and now people are complaining, makes no sense, 2042 more smoke is needed.
Smart Missiles can shoot just as far as the AA... I've sniped armor clear across the map so its a double edge sword
The upcoming operator sounds like a nightmare for an extraction mode
need to give people the option to have a smoke or frag instead of it being locked
I agree to some degree with the smokes, but with how open most of the maps are, smokes are the only way I can get to the obj and push since I dont use vehicles. Subjective of course.
Yeah I hear you on that one, it completely depends on the map.
@GhostGamingg
I actually want to point out, try playing shafted without smokes.
As a Battlefield player I completely agree with you
