Hey man, love what your doing this is great stuff. Have a couple questions, I'm only getting very few planes at my VHHX on FSX, usually no more than 5 and they don't seem to move at all, just parked. Am I just not waiting long enough or something? And how do I get more planes? I want the airport to be PACKED with this AI traffic, I don't have that much traffic installed so far, maybe that's why. You installed some of the flightplans and only see 5 planes? What airlines? If they're installed properly, Cathay and Dragonair are the only 2 airlines that will normally have more than 2-4 planes at Kai Tak. They follow the real life schedules, so the planes would move whenever their next departure would be. Are you talking about the static fake aircraft that come with the FlyTampa scenery? Because those do not move. If you installed Cathay Pacific but some aircraft types aren't showing up, then look at the tutorial because something is wrong with the installation in the aircraft.cfg ("model=" needs to exactly match the "model" folder, "sim=" needs to exactly match the .air file , the "[fltsim.]" section needs to be in exact order and can't skip a number or repeat one, etc). The other issue is make sure you are using the FlyTampa parking file with the max gates, the default one meant for using their static planes only has a portion of the gates available to AI planes as the rest are taken up by fake static planes
@@bayviation The airlines I have installed currently are, Air Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific, Cathay Pacific Cargo, ANA, JAL, JAL Cargo, Japan Air System, Japan Universal System Transport, Malaysian Airlines, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airlines, and United Airlines. At VHHX I get no more than 5 planes and occasionally 6 and the only 2 airlines present are Air Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific, and sometimes 1 Cathay Pacific Cargo 747-400F. I checked my scenery/world/scenery location in FSX and all my traffic BGL files for each airline are there, I checked all of my aircraft cfgs and everything seems to be in order, model matches the aircrafts model, the sim matches the air file, and the fltsim numbers are in correct order from 0- whatever and don't skip etc. I turned off the static aircraft that come with FlyTampa so it is just very empty except for the couple planes that show up. I'm not sure about the FlyTampa parking file, I don't know if I have that. Where would I be able to get that?
@@chessbox4776 open up the VHHX ADE file somewhere in your flytampa\VHHX\scenery folder or whatever, that is the parking file for aircraft. Make sure it has more than a few parking spots. With 1998 traffic, you should never have just 5 planes at VHHX with Cathay installed, ever. Make sure the title= matches the aircraft titles in the flightplans also on the "Aircraft Cathay Pacific 1998" file or whatever its called. Should 100% be at least 12+ CX planes at VHHX in 98 at all times usually if you have the A330, A340, 777s, 747s, etc installed
@@bayviation So I managed to get it working but only somewhat it seems, I have quite some airlines installed and some different aircraft types (FAIB 737-400 L, N, and W, FAIB 747-200, FAIB 747-300, FAIB 747-400 and 400F, FAIB 767-200 and 300, TFS A300, TFS A310, TFS A330-300, and TFS A340-300) but the only aircraft that appear are the 747s, none of the other ones. I managed to get a couple of the airlines to start working at VHHX but the main area in the tarmac is still very empty, occasionally a plane or 2 will appear in that center area. Do I just need to keep installing airlines? A good portion of it is starting to fill up but like I said, every airplane there is a 747 (also not to mention every single airline on those 747s are Cathay Pacific, occasionally a JAL 747 will appear and/or a Qantas but that's all I've seen in passenger variants) and there is still a lot that is empty, I'm pretty sure I installed the other planes correctly just like I did with the 747s. If its possible and if you don't mind, could you make a gameplay test of your VHHX's traffic? I just want to see what it looks like in action when properly installed. Another thing, I'm really not seeing much movement, the planes very rarely taxi and I don't really see any departures and arrivals (my arrivals seem to be on the wrong side of the runway at 31), I don't know if that's just how the flight plans are or if I just simply still don't have enough airlines installed but yeah I am pretty lost right now. Yes, FS2004 is the same. Note that may of the repaints made in the last 3-4 years will not work in FS2004 as they are for models that only work in FSX or newer or even P3D or newer

this will still work for fs2004 yes if i do it all manually? its a great project been searching for this for a while :)
