If I had a nickel for every final boss that was a scary floating face that turns into a wacky cartoony guy running around, I'd have 2 nickels Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice

If we take Pizza Tower as a whole to be a representation of large restaurant chains, I'd say Pizza face is kinda like a high ranking member of the company (perhaps even "the boss", the company chairman) of the restaurant chain, while Pizza Head (aka Pizza Boy?) is the corporation itself. Going to take a completely arbitrary example here: Mc Donalds. How difficult would it be to get any single person working for McDonalds fired? Like, not get the current chainman of Mc Donalds fired- I mean destroy the corporation called Mc Donalds, have all Mc Donalds brand restaurants closed. No rebranding or mergers allowed either. Bro dont even take the fight seriously which makes the song sound goofy while also kinda sounding scary.. like going up againt a entity that can destroy reality yet decides to toy with you and mess with your emotions out of pure amusement.
originally phase 3 was going to be the opposite with Pizzahead being visibly pissed and throwing himself at peppino trying to take a swing at him or even an attack where him yelling get out was a projectile but it was scrapped because they wanted to portray pizzahead as a clown (he’s based off Ronald McDonald) this is documented on the TCRF wiki page for the game
Gustavo: Peppino what’s the matter? Peppino: Pizzaface! He’s… he’s some sort of clown, and his attacks are unpredictable! You could say this is some sort of Unexpectancy.
Don't know if this was intentional but this is giving me huge Majora's Incarnation vibes. Think about it, you just get done beating up the looming presence haunting you the entire game and it reveals its true form by sprouting limbs and acting like a cartoon
And its the goofy 2nd phase sandwiched between 2 serious phases, and the fact that it starts of a just a face, then gains body later on, and as a finishing touch, both final bosses summon the previous bosses to attack you!
In my time playing I think each boss represents a pillar of the corruption of the pizza industry take for instance pepper-man,you see him make weird art and never really ask why you fight a pepper instead of a more common pizza topping such as mushrooms or pepperonis that’s because in my theory he represents how pizza now is more wacky then it is like putting meatballs or pineapple on pizza it doesn’t make sense but it enjoyed by some people so let it be a strange art. Next is vigilante which from what I gather he represents those who are wrongfully integrated into a corporate pizza franchise but try to escape it the reason is because unlike the others he does not smile rather has a more angry and annoyed look and his intro image even shows him with random items stuck inside him perhaps meaning that he has became one with the tower but is fighting back but as for going after peppino I think it’s him hunting the fake version. Now onto the noise who is obviously representing a pizza mascot which are always meant to entice you into the franchise but has shown to be self absorbed due to his stage having everything that’s him like the tower in the background and even the newscast which in my view represents how you become obsessed with the fame rather than the food such as another “mascot” like John Schnatter aka papa John himself. Next and my personal favorite fake peppino who I think is a parody of how other restaurants say there the real and original restaurant but they are obviously not how you say an imperfect clone of the original founder. Finally we have pizza face who represents the pizza industry as a whole I mean for his true form stage he starts throwing tvs at you not including the other bosses who are mascots for the tower,Pizza face is meant to show unlove but rather wanting to gain more which is why he plotted to destroy peppino’s restaurant because he wanted no competition,no other to challenge him but most of all no one standing in his way of his pizza empire
so, i know the lyrics are supposed to be "you want, you don't want" but hearing it as "you want ya dough want" also kinda makes a bit of sense because both peppino and pizzahead want "dough" in the intro we see that peppino's not in a good position, he's got a lot of debit, and possibly risks loosing his restaurant while pizzahead HAD a restaurant, which went out of business at some point so in a sense, both of them "want ya dough"
Weird note and wanted to see if anyone else found it odd too: the little walking animation pizza boy does during phase 2 seriously reminds me, of all things, a boss from a Wario World level (specifically the Mean Emcee). Might just be because this got the lable of being a Wario like but did anyone else happen to think about this when they saw it?
I see people talking about this being a fight between a small business and a large corporation and tbh that's pretty much what the entire game is, an indie game that is sticking it to triple A titles by actually being good and being made with love instead of greed Pizza Tower funny

I love how this part perfectly embodies what was on Peppino's mind while fighting s goofy cartoonish character, the fear, the cartoonish, the desesperation, because that thing defies all laws of the universe and blends reality at its will.
're-coh, after!' The cartoons going insane. 'E, O-A-O-E, oh' The voices in your head freaking out 'YOU WANT, YOU DON'T WANNA, YOU WANT, YOU DON'T WANNA, YOU WANT, YOU DON'T WANNA, AT ALL, AT ALL!' I love it when a game comes out that’s deceptively simple but can be analyzed for hidden complexity and depth that can only be found by those who wish to seek it out for themselves without being a necessity for the average experience ^ Case in point ^

at first, i thought i wouldn’t like pizza tower, but i decided to just look at a video to see what everyone was freaking out over. im in love now
Bro dont even take the fight seriously which makes the song sound goofy while also kinda sounding scary.. like going up againt a entity that can destroy reality yet decides to toy with you and mess with your emotions out of pure amusement.
originally phase 3 was going to be the opposite with Pizzahead being visibly pissed and throwing himself at peppino trying to take a swing at him or even an attack where him yelling get out was a projectile but it was scrapped because they wanted to portray pizzahead as a clown (he’s based off Ronald McDonald)
this is documented on the TCRF wiki page for the game
@@jess648 yeah ik
This is arguably the best part of the song
@@rr53213rr yet it happened which is why I love it
Bro went analyst mode and made one hell of a theory, god damn. Amazing…
I love how this song is deranged, twisted, and makes no sense.
Fits Pizzaface's theme perfectly.
so, i know the lyrics are supposed to be "you want, you don't want"
but hearing it as "you want ya dough want" also kinda makes a bit of sense
because both peppino and pizzahead want "dough"
in the intro we see that peppino's not in a good position, he's got a lot of debit, and possibly risks loosing his restaurant
while pizzahead HAD a restaurant, which went out of business at some point
so in a sense, both of them "want ya dough"
I hear it as "who wants to go, who wants to go, have a battle?
I heard that the first time I listened to this song
you want ya dough (or) what?
Weird note and wanted to see if anyone else found it odd too: the little walking animation pizza boy does during phase 2 seriously reminds me, of all things, a boss from a Wario World level (specifically the Mean Emcee). Might just be because this got the lable of being a Wario like but did anyone else happen to think about this when they saw it?
0:40 the proof that an utterly crazy person made this CRAZY EPIC song!
I see people talking about this being a fight between a small business and a large corporation and tbh that's pretty much what the entire game is, an indie game that is sticking it to triple A titles by actually being good and being made with love instead of greed
Pizza Tower funny
1:23, absolute banger
Pizzaface just being some dorky farm boy instead of the pizza demon we were expecting is the greatest twist I didn’t know I wanted
What a maddening track I love this

An anthropomorphic pizza throwing a gun at you so you could shoot him..that’s how you know it’s a good game
Dude doesn’t even take his theme song seriously lol.
i'm boppin' vibbin' to this shit. i like this! this is the best final boss song i've ever heard in my life, better than "your best nightmare" (Undertale(another GameMakerStudio Game)).
1:04-1:24 gives big Pepper Steak vibes
the drums 100%
I love how people in the comments are breaking down funny pizza game

*takes out and sips redbull*

we sure love roblander :D
this is my favorite song in the soundtrack
something about the way the samples were used and the general cheerily deranged vibe the song and the fight give off is just awesome
0:40 "I'm the king and you're the jester! Love to see your anger fester! I'll take the game back, I'll take my fame back! You don't have a knack for chaos, your loss!"
0:55 "Thought it was funny, watching you running through the tower for hours, you coward!"
"IT IS NOT FUNNY!!!!"(sorry,i fixed)
@Chico-Games2353 "It not? Whoops 🤭"
@@loonysanity9638 "Oh,Santa Maria...🤦♂️"
Best game of 2023
PizzaBoy is just the pizza version of Drake
@BirbMask I AM ADOLF HITLER! COMMANDER OF ZHE THIRD REICH! Little known fact... ALSO DOPE ON ZHE MIC!
This really is Ren and Stimpy versus Old Disney Cartoons.
I love how this part perfectly embodies what was on Peppino's mind while fighting s goofy cartoonish character, the fear, the cartoonish, the desesperation, because that thing defies all laws of the universe and blends reality at its will.
this part hit haaaaard: 2:02
Agreed fr
Pizza Head: is made of pizza, sells pizzas
Also Pizza Head: "WHO WANTS A DONUT WHO WANTS A DONUT WHO WANTS A DONUT AT ALL AT ALL"
"you want"
"you dont want" 3x
"at all" 2x
This song fits him and him only
the way this samples the song "after you get what you want, you don't want it" is just insane
This has some great OFF vibes.
For some reason I hear
"Who wants a doughnut,
who wants a doughnut,
who wants a doughnut,
at all, at all"
I don’t care what you say. One of the best pizza tower songs
EEEEEAI AYEEEE OIIIII EEEEEAI AYEEEE OIIIII YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT? YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT? YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT? YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT? ALO ALO
When the banger is as sticky as pizza cheese
're-coh, after!'
The cartoons going insane.
'E, O-A-O-E, oh'
The voices in your head freaking out
'YOU WANT, YOU DON'T WANNA, YOU WANT, YOU DON'T WANNA, YOU WANT, YOU DON'T WANNA, AT ALL, AT ALL!'
The voices in a conflict if you want something or not
'E, OH, AY, E, OH-E-E, OH, AY, E, OH-E-WADAYWAWA-WADAYWAWA-EEE-WOOO-LEE-MEEE-GO-GO-GO-GO'
The voices in your head finally getting dealt with.
Not gonna lie, this theme low-key slap hard
The way pizzaface's face opening and revealing pizzahead reminds me of warner bros animation opening logo
Love how before the game got released, no one even commented on the possibility of... Spoilers
Pizzaboy being Pizzaface

This sounds so goofy.
And I absolutely adore it for that.
0:45 I can’t unhear the vocals(?) saying “Who wants a bobuk”
Idk, i think it says "you want it dont want it" lol
"For you, the day I threatened to blow up your restaurant was the worst day of your life, but for me it was...Pizza Day"
*1920* : Unexpectancy part 2
*1928* : Mickey Mouse
1:12 hahaha what a good time! 1:24 a women was murdered last night. The body was not found. 1:34 hahaha what a good time!
That last bit at 2:29 slaps HARD
2:26 Wow
favorite part from this boss phase
I love it when a game comes out that’s deceptively simple but can be analyzed for hidden complexity and depth that can only be found by those who wish to seek it out for themselves without being a necessity for the average experience
^ Case in point ^
eee oh ai ah ee oh
such deep lyrics😔
