Hey I like to mix both for all leg days personally
Meg, you have very little knee drift back at the bottom of your hack. Would you advise if my knees were noticeably drifting back at the bottom to lower feet or stop short of bottoming out?
I've been trying to figure it out and I think it's shifting tension to my glutes.
Interested to hear your thoughts?
Knees shouldn’t travel back if your goal is getting max knee flexion - knees travel forward and hamstring sink into your calf’s

You say that the seated leg curl involves some glute - how can this be the case as the glutes extend the hip and the hips are fixed in position during this exercise?
Seated hamstring curl doesn’t involve glutes at all, hamstring isolation - you are probably getting confused with pelvis moving or me talking about the pelvis staying fixed
