I always thought that girls in pair had the funniest part but after seeing Lloyd being a human stretch tool 😂😂😂 I guess a lot of women envy you now 😂😂😂
@@IceCoachOnline Yes you could be a lil more flexible - you have an olympic tattoo cmon lol - but you have so much muscles that the yoga mat look tiny lol and it wasn't just for you, you had to lift people... ;) Also doing show stuff along with your coach work and your yt chan must be time consuming, and it's all about support. Don't be too hard with yourself man and ty for it =)
Time consuming is the right word for it! There aren't enough hours in the day to do everything I try to haha. Olympics was 6 years ago and my flexibility was better back then, but I am stronger now. I need to find time to stretch more, that's for sure!
I used to have better flexibility, but now Im stiff. 😩 thanks for this exercise! Btw, how long does it usually takes to stretch and do you have to do all the stretches before practice?
Sorry for the late reply, don't stretch before skating! You should do a deep stretch like this as the last activity of the day. Stretching sessions vary based on how many stretches you are doing, but typically we try to keep it between 40 and 60 minutes. If you can only spare 20 minutes per session due to time constraints, that's fine too! It's still better to do it a bit instead of not at all.
Ice Coach Online oh wow I didnt know that we are not supposed to stretch before skating. 😱 I thought we should stretch and warm up so that we didn’t get stiff on ice. Well, not a surprise cuz Im still a newbie in sport. 😂 Thank you for taking your time to answer!
Nadiah Dono hi I know this is superrr late but yeah really not a good idea to do stretches like this before skating because it can cause lots of problems. You should always warm up but don’t do stretches like these just do light stretching as a part of a warm up x
@@Idontknowwhattoputlmao11 Thanks for explaining! At first, I thought that we shouldn't be stretching at all before skating. Its good to know now before I actually get the chance to skate
Nadiah Dono no problem hope it helped💖 I’m in scotland and the only rink opening here after lockdown(6 months with no ice!) is 2hrs away and opens next week and I’m going then😁⛸
@@IceCoachOnline Done. My mom ran out of steam for the split stretch at the end (it's kinda late here), but otherwise I was positively surprised how well I did (my mom is very flexible, so her performance was to be expected). We compared some of the exercises with similar exercises and were pleased to note that the small differences completely changed which muscles were being affected in ways we didn't expect. Thanks again for posting!
Sorry for the late reply.... I would recommend having a good stretch session 3 times per week over a long period of time to see improvement. You have to make small steps towards your goal. Don't neglect strength work though as being too flexible and not strong enough leads to injury!

Can you do more of these?? We really liked it but there's not enough content out there. Especially for the Upper body! 😭😭

Haha Stretching isn't my favourite thing to do 🤣😅 I used to be good at it when I was 17.

Man, I wish I had Anastasia's flexibility, Lloyd, I swear you were trying to torture her at times lol
I was straining myself trying to fad the position where Anastasia would actually feel a stretch 😅
Ice Coach Online I’m guessing it would take a lot for her to feel it
