I use it nearly every day. I purchased it from Sheaffer's Town and County Tractors. I can get anything I need from many sources including Sheaffer's, Hoye and the like. Common things I just get from NAPA like my radiator hoses. These tractors are workhorses one must get a true made in Japan Yanmar and not one built in places like Vietnam where Yanmar sold the tooling to make tractors. For real the Montana tractors were bad. However, I grew up around tractors my first time to roll one was in sixth grade a Massey Harris 20 mowing hay. The Yanmars are far safer have good brakes and are more stable. The Massey Harris kicked out of gear in thick grass while mowing with a sickle bar. Actually the brakes were shot on the tractor and did not exist; needless to say the Massey had new brakes and worked many more years. You are also right about the Kubota 3350; I see many of them for sale yet. However, for me I see some of the worst tractors running Mitsubishi engines. I don't give a rats a** who makes the tractor if I see a Mitsubishi engine in it I walk away. I grew up with a grandfather who was a mechanical engineer and learned allot from him. Mitsubishi in their cars uses poor quality rings and the like; once I into their tractor engines I found they have the same level of quality, marginal. One tractor I will not buy is an LS they sub out far too much and like Mitsubishi keep changing rather then refining. LS built the four wheel drive units for Farmtrac; they were not well balanced or though out. Escort built the two wheel drives for Farmtrac; these tractors were Ford clones as they were the ones manufacturing Ford tractors before they ended production. Have you ever heard someone say they didn’t get a good deal on the car they bought? Nobody wants to be perceived as a fool. Same with everyone’s opinion on the tractor brand they purchased. I’ve had the unique opportunity to operate many brands of tractors and I can say without a doubt, that nothing compares to a John Deere. They are over engineered and just feel so much more solid and stable than any of the other brands. All the others just feel cheap or have the Kubota rattle. The difference is hard to articulate, but it’s like driving a honda civic vs a full size f150. Just an honest opinion.
your dog is a pointer? I think TYM is phasing out all the Yanmar engines in the 48-55hp size. they are using the Kukje A2300 engine in the 48-55hp. both Yanmar and Kukje are two of the finest engines made. I think more people need to understand the Kukje A2300 is the most simple modern tractor engine. do you think they will put a mechanically fuel injected engine in the 65-75hp models? the Yanmar has 7 computers and 22 sensors the Kukje has one computer and 7 sensors. I think one of them there KU-BOATERS has a mech fuel injection in one model. I think this is the master plan when they bought Kukje/Branson PS the Yanmars are loud engines. (yanmar is a fine engine. just loud and complex. the Kukje can be worked on by anybody.
We will have to agree to disagree on grey market tractors , 24 years ago i bought a 2020D Yanmar , i put a Koyker loader on it, never have had any kind of issue , and it gets worked, parts?? One water temp sensor, one nylon bushing for the three point control , and one altenator, took me all of 10 minutes to order them and have within 2 or 3 days. All the filters ,belts and oil? Napa has them in stock, MAYBE you meant the grey market tractors that are " rebuilt" in Vietnam,,, you are correct there i wouldn't touch one, my other tractor is a 1952 Allis CA ,all restored and still can put in a full days work.
Most entertaining stickers on any tractor or implement are on wood-chippers. Check out the stickers on any new chipper. Someone should do a sticker video. How 'bout-cha Hank?
I have a Montana T7074. It has a TYM cab and body and a John Deere engine!! So far no problem with parts. Get body parts from TYM and engine parts from John Deere
My buddy bought a Farmtrac about 12-15 yrs ago. Company went out of business before his ink was dry on the title. He never had any support and was tough trying to get some repairs done. That’s why I have been really afeared of buying any equipment/tractors not having long term dealer support. But I’m entertaining Tym. Mostly because of UA-camrs like you and others. Their marketing has to be working…. Because I would never have said that 5 yrs ago.
You may want to clarify your Kubota comments, they are not all grey market tractors, rather the best utility tractor ever developed. We like the looks of all of your TYMs in the background!
The Kubota L1500 is a gray market tractor. My neighbor has one that we are in the process of restoring. It was not supposed to be in the United States. As I have heard, there may be around 500 in the States. It's a project tractor. He is correct, the name plate is stamped in Japanese. I have not had problems getting parts. Found a great supplier in Alabama. It's a fun project to work on.
To be honest I think that back in the day tractors were built to last a long time 🚜🚜🚜🚜 and my uncle had a Massey Ferguson that he used it for a long time plowing fields for their gardens when people grew their own vegetables
You wrong about yanmar I had one (5yrs) and sold it to a friend and 15 years later still getting it don and several around me have them and other than a starter or water pump never heard anything bad and and parts are easy to get.
I don't know how those late 80s and early 90s first GEN US market Belarus didn't make the list. Not to mention those first US market Mahindra. I have a neighbor down the road that had one of those Kabota's he really didn't have much problem out of it but about a year into it Kubota in a letter saying they would trade him out of it for the value he had in it That standing pretty tall for a company to do that.
I think that Montana was FarmTrac in a previous life. As you say, the main, & arguably only, issue is they are now totally NOT supported. Unfortunate as they looked like good machines.
I have to disagree with you this time Hank. I bought a gray market tractor in 2001 and 23 years later she is still running as smooth as the day I purchased her. I never had any problems finding parts. I usually order from Hoye. I have a yanmar 3000.
Hank, the one I would add is simple and will piss off many.. All John Deere Tractors 50hp or less!!! They dont hold up worth a dang, and parts are through the roof...
How do you figure I’m not honest? You’re the one that said that you couldn’t get parts or Kubota doesn’t stand behind their tractors, my experience is good with Kubota!
All they had to do was reprogram the computer on the B 3350 , a dealership bought one back and reprogrammed the computer for the regen, he hasn't had a problem since
I really don't think there's "bad" ones out there now. I think all manufacturers now have gotten things figured out. It's all personal preference in my opinion.
I would not buy a tractor with DPF or expensive anti pollution cans hanging off them or with funny buttons or lights on the dash. I don’t live in the land of the free so am not subject to the stupid regulations inflicted on American tractor operators. Thankfully the recent Supreme Court decision means the faceless bureaucrats from a three letter agency that decided it was a good idea to make tractors use more fuel, be less reliable and more expensive, can now be challenged in a court. It is time for tractor companies to challenge this regulation.
If you're talking about LSE, that's a whole different ball game. As far as run of the mill dealers, I haven't heard anything saying they can't carry two or more brands.

I saw the video from "The dealer who shall not be named " in it he told the story of how an innocent dealer was selling kioti, then all of the sudden a supply chain left him with no inventory, a kindly brand (TYM) offered him inventory to sell, thus saving him from destruction, selling many units, then the supply chain issue corrected itself, rather than carry on with both brands, showing appreciation for the people who saved his bacon, he instead told his customers who were foolish enough to buy from him to look elsewhere for their warranty work. Love your channel but don't agree regarding Kubota, they're the most reliable and best tractor's to come from the Asian market, sorry coyote/TYM are probably the same quality as Kubota 20 years ago so a lot of catching up to do, Kubotas agricultural range is huge now 200hp etc I've worked on them for years now alongside John Deere, Massey, case and all the other big names and people love them, the big arable boys have started buying them and all the council's have Kubotas and have done for years for all their grass cutting etc, This is coming from someone who has maintained and repaired farm and grass cutting machinery for over 20 years , not a hobbyist!
II would not be getting anything that is electric. Kubota is made in the United States right now. I would not recommend that getting any more tractor's that are green,l and yellow .I think that this regeneration on tractor's is not the best way to do it.
Look if you have researched the tractors and compact tractors…. Even John Deere is built by an I’ve seas company that builds the same cheaper tractors with the same parts as the John Deere’s …. So the cheap tractors are the same as a John Deere for the most part … they all pretty much run the same motors from the same companies same with the hydraulic systems … there is not many American made anything anymore….

Kubota makes everything on their tractors. Open the hood on anything else and you'll find parts from who knows where.
Kubota does make fine machines
So does Yanmar.
So does kioti
I've had to walk back to my barn several times from the house just for my drink.
Most entertaining stickers on any tractor or implement are on wood-chippers. Check out the stickers on any new chipper. Someone should do a sticker video. How 'bout-cha Hank?
Hank, I love your dogs. I have a 6 year old black lab and she has tons of energy. I agree with you on the tractors. Thanks
My neighbor has a Zetor...65 hp mowering my hay meadow I can't hear the tractor mowering..unbelievable..
Never heard of “mowering”… is that like mowing really low …by adding a lowering kit to your mower? 😂
I love my TYM 474 Cab, AC feels great on a hot day.
I have a Montana T7074. It has a TYM cab and body and a John Deere engine!! So far no problem with parts. Get body parts from TYM and engine parts from John Deere
Made in Mexico for some John Deere
🚜🚜🚜🚜 Bob Hostetter, from Central Idaho, Little Pecker Homestead. I have a Kioti Ck 2610. Love it ! Best tractor for the money . 🚜
I have a 2009 Kubota BX and love it no problems at all.
Knock on wood. I've got an old s175 bobcat. The Kubota engine in that thing is unstoppable. I got to go knock on a lot of wood now.
I was thinking of a kobota B2216 I was impressed by a front flail mower
My buddy bought a Farmtrac about 12-15 yrs ago. Company went out of business before his ink was dry on the title. He never had any support and was tough trying to get some repairs done. That’s why I have been really afeared of buying any equipment/tractors not having long term dealer support. But I’m entertaining Tym. Mostly because of UA-camrs like you and others. Their marketing has to be working…. Because I would never have said that 5 yrs ago.
Yeah I hear ya. But I'm totally honest when I say I'm happy with them. They have been great tractors for me.
You may want to clarify your Kubota comments, they are not all grey market tractors, rather the best utility tractor ever developed. We like the looks of all of your TYMs in the background!
Hopefully I didn't mean all
kubtoas were junk. Just the particular model I talked about in the video. I like Kubota a lot.
My Kubota does anything I ask of it and doesn’t give me an ounce of trouble!
Yanmar isn't one of the tractors he mentions.
1. Gray market tractors
2. Montanna Tractors
3. Kubota B3350
I own a kioti ck2620 Very good tractor no issues
I don't know how those late 80s and early 90s first GEN US market Belarus didn't make the list. Not to mention those first US market Mahindra.
I have a neighbor down the road that had one of those Kabota's he really didn't have much problem out of it but about a year into it Kubota in a letter saying they would trade him out of it for the value he had in it
That standing pretty tall for a company to do that.
Yeah those are good candidates for sure
Great Vid. Does your old tractor 🚜 parked in the yard run?
Sure does!

I think that Montana was FarmTrac in a previous life. As you say, the main, & arguably only, issue is they are now totally NOT supported. Unfortunate as they looked like good machines.
New sub. Great video Mr Hank. Very well put.
Thank you. Welcome.
I have to disagree with you this time Hank. I bought a gray market tractor in 2001 and 23 years later she is still running as smooth as the day I purchased her. I never had any problems finding parts. I usually order from Hoye. I have a yanmar 3000.
Thanks for sharing👍
🚜. What do you think of the summit tractor
Are SUMMIT TRACTORS GARBAGE?

John deer just sent 600 more jobs to Mexico.
Poor girl, she just needed some relief.
My black labs name is Pepper also.
Awesome! She was a rescue :)
Hank, the one I would add is simple and will piss off many.. All John Deere Tractors 50hp or less!!! They dont hold up worth a dang, and parts are through the roof...
Don't buy any of the newer EPA trackors go older pre computer is best
Kubota tractors are Kubota from front to rear, not like TYN, Koiti, and the others. Kubota has a super customer service network.
Yanmar is all Yanmar.
How do you figure I’m not honest? You’re the one that said that you couldn’t get parts or Kubota doesn’t stand behind their tractors, my experience is good with Kubota!
All they had to do was reprogram the computer on the B 3350 , a dealership bought one back and reprogrammed the computer for the regen, he hasn't had a problem since
What about cub cadet tractors
Good call
Nice job and God bless y'all
I have to disagree about Kubota, I have owned three and had good luck with all of them. I traded up twice to increase horsepower.
Yeah Kubota makes a fine tractor... just that particular model had some issues. But they are a good brand for sure.
Have you had any experience with Rural King
Not personally, but my neighbor loves his RK55.
They were made by Tym or Branson
@@dawn20 I have an RK 37. They are TYM's with Rural King branding.
I like your channel but your information about kubota is way outdated
Good info to know!
🚜 New to channel. Referred from Peek's Peak Hobby Homestead 😊

You couldn't buy name brand ramen noodles if you had my money😞
I suppose if TYM gave me a tractor I might talk down Kubota too!
Then you're not an honest person. I actually like Kubota a lot. But wouldn't buy that particular model.
So what do you think are the best tractors out there.
I love my Kubota mx5400 no problem with my tractor
Any news on Dealers being forced to be a one brand dealership? IE Kioti dealer being forced to cut TYM drom the line up?
If you're talking about LSE, that's a whole different ball game. As far as run of the mill dealers, I haven't heard anything saying they can't carry two or more brands.
@@hhamilton1970 Largest selling Kioti dealership located in Tennessee just dropped TYM from its 2 dealership. Will try and find the link. It's in the Dealerships website . They opted not to post it on You Tube...
Yeah Larry Stovesand Equipment (LSE). That's why I said it's a whole different ball game when you're talking about a dealership that size.
That video is on both Facebook and Vimeo, i doesn't really take any twisting of his words or that video to make him into a villain. That is some top teir weasel moves.
My local Kioti dealer also sells Massy.
Did you know that rk tractors are made by tym?
I do know that
Belarus Tractors
Parts are very fun to find.
@@jasonbusch3624Not a problem, most things that fail are generic, ie hoses, bearings and seals. BEST TRACTORS IN THE WORLD.... PERIOD 💪
If you had my money, you couldn't buy a lawn tractor.
I know the feeling bidenomics is killing me
Belarus should have been at the top of the list.
I have a 2014 Kubota 3301. 1000 hours now. Perfect tractor. Dealer 7 miles up the road. Built in TN. I have no Idea what your talking about. Dealers dont have parts, huh. Stickers. Bullshit
you must be one of the lucky ones...

Hank, where did you get the negative information on the B3350 Kubota?
All over the internet. Do you have one? I'd love to hear some stories from actual owners👍
@@hhamilton1970 Don't have one, but being a tractor guy, always interested in tractor related information. I must not be looking in the right place, because I can't find negative information. It was made for 11 yrs. and shared the 1.5L 4 cyl. engine that several other models had. The engine, like every Kubota engine I'm aware of, has a good reputation. I've had a Kubota around since the first boat load (L200, 1972)....all under 50hp. They have always amazed me in the power they get out of such small displacement. I did see a cab model online with an asking price of $29k.
@@hhamilton1970 Hank, please tell me you didn't delete my reply. If you did, it tells me all I need to know!
Your reply is right here.... but the snide remark at the end bc you don't see it/ didn't see it tells me all I need to know.
If you watch any of my videos you know I'm a big believer in freedom. I'm not gonna delete a UA-cam comment bc it has something in it I don't agree with. That's not who I am.
When u got to go GOT TO GO. LOL LOL
Kubota isn't grey market buddy. Nice try though.
lol.... Kubota definitely has some gray market tractors out there. Thanks for the comment though.
There are some gray market kubotas out there. Talk to your dealer...
Man I take just bout any of them for free. Didnt even know they had grey tractors. Gonna get on that black market and get me one
I agree with you. It's only that particular model. Kubota is an awesome tractor. But they missed the boat with that one.
Thanks from replying! Love your show from here in the UK !

Do not put down Kubota and John Deere down they are the BEST tractors

II would not be getting anything that is electric. Kubota is made in the United States right now. I would not recommend that getting any more tractor's that are green,l and yellow .I think that this regeneration on tractor's is not the best way to do it.
I should've mentioned Electric tractors. That's a good call
@@hhamilton1970 exactly!!!!
Green paint is expensive! Just saying.
