It's really awesome to hear from people that have operated tractors and have the experience and operating them I don't think that that's ever going to happen for me because I live in an apartment where I'm a renter so I really don't live in a place where I would ever own a tractor in my life but I'm really do love to watch about tractors seeing them getting fixed up and just learning all about them how they operate in what you can do with them

Now I'm in Pennsylvania so I'm up in the east coast but we get up in the 90s or so up here in the summer and we get the humidity plus heat so it feels hotter but I'm glad I don't live in a place like Texas

How boutcha Hank.. I have watched your channel for a little over a year now under a different account, and I noticed you are pretty knowledgeable about TYM tractors. I am STILL trying to decide between a TYM T25, and a Solis H24 with cab. My question is regarding the 3rd function setup. My understanding, the TYM uses a full 3rd function valve, and the Solis uses a diverter valve. My question is, how much does this effect the usefulness of this feature. I know both "work", but is the full 3rd function worth the extra money? I know you are a busy man, but thanks for the reply

I have a TYM 494, bought brand new with 3rd function kit and cab. 300hrs later and not 1 problem. Orange and green are overpriced junk. I saved almost 20k vs the junk.

Carb needs to be gone back over and re-adjusted with the needle valves. Running too rich or too lean.... either one.

Hank, just a thought....you could record this, or spend a couple of days recording an online tutorial, then sell it like a class? This might help you reach out to guys like me, half way across the country that are burried in work, I just cant break away for it. Great idea though, Im sure you will sell out. Good luck!

Have you or Tony ever had front axle seal leak on your TYM? Reason I ask is mine had it at about 100 hours and just curious. Other than that my TYM 494 is a beast and really impressive tractor. You guys rock and have awesome videos!!!!!!!!

why dont you guys ever use red diesel? I dont know why you would pay road tax on diesel when you can get red diesel and not pay road tax. You cannt put this into anything that would be on road, but all construction and farm equipment can use this, As much diesel as you use you sure would save some money.

Hi, I do cut brush on my life working for the state and I would not do it with the open cab no more you will have poison ivy all over your body and you can get one for your bobcat too and better use tracks because if you leave this route of pie, you’re gonna get flat tire on your tractor and you won the podcast hi in the hi precious and you should be wearing safety glasses just letting you know it’s better to work with close cab. Are you beautiful bobcat do a very good job too. Don’t forget got poison ivy out there somewhere. I don’t think you wanna get it. I don’t.

I had a big 4' pine stump ground in my front yard. He did a great job but it took me several days and truckloads of to clean up the mess. Then a lot of dirt to gill the hole. Would have been better to have an excavator dig ot out.

Good job Hank. Great video of you branching out doing new things. I have a T474 and would love to have a mulcher like that. I have watched Mr. Lay do some incredible things with that set up and this video was somehow close to home so to speak, as my woods look just like that on our 250 acre lease. Literally the whole lease looks just like that.

I'm sure that Baumalight stuff is good, but, they are out of reach for almost all of us normal folks.

I bought a Yanmar SA425 in 2022 when Kubota could not source loaders on their tractors. I originally wanted a Kubota. Yanmar wasn't even a consideration for me but I came upon the dealer in Mt. Vernon Ohio by accident when looking at other tractors. SOOO glad I did. They are a great dealership who have been around for several years and really know their tractors and have an amazing tech. there. My next tractor will be a YT347. Saving up for that guy. There isn't a better tractor out their in my opinion. I have owned Kubota B7800, Ford 1210, MF GC2400, Case IH DX24e, MF 1750M, Case IH Farmall 40B (LS Made) and the Yanmar beats them all. They start amazingly easy in the winter. My one knock on the SA425 and don't think this is an issue on other models, the hood is crap. It supposedly is repaired when you have issues with it and I've been very careful with mine and I still think I'll be calling may dealer on that.

Dang Hank, by the time it takes a feller to figure all that electronic stuff out, the tractor will be wore out. 😅

To me that looks like a very uncomfortable implement to run. It appears to do the job, but I wouldn't want to have to constantly back up and look behind me.

What is the PTO power level required for that mulcher?

I would LOVE to have a forestry mulcher ... then I priced them ....
