In 1982 as a twenty two year girl I saw this movie in Tamil. In Thanjavur, T.N. While attending contact seminar class for M.A correspondence course inTrichy. My college senior recommend this film, but that time Iam ardent Kamal fan, like Sridevi. I loved this film for all faculties. I justwatched it in hindi for comparison. Nostalgia. It was said that film was the interpretation of personal tragic events of the Director & a great artist actress Shobha. ( urvasi awardee died at age of 17).18-5-24 10.20.pm.
I really admire the character portrayed by Kamal Hassan, though the ending was very painful.😞 We need more such compassionate and sensitive men in our society.
