It was 1972 December first weekend. I was in 7th class and returning home from my evening shift school after 615 pm. Rajouri Garden Nehru Market New Delhi. Local govt vehicle was there with AKASHVANI DOORDARSHAN team and this movie just had started. I sat on ground and watched full movie till end to leave for home with heavy heart and fear of punishment from father. Still I watched this a number of times whenever I had a chance. Great and marvelous philosophy played by RK. GOD Almighty gave a chance to watch a philosophy in perfection.

Absolutely disagree. All credit for this film goes to its director, dialogue writer, lyricist and music director. Even on the front of acting, Ramu Kaka and Ramesh Deo is more natural than Rajesh and Amitabh. Amongst these two, obviously Amitabh is more natural. Rajesh Khanna was best fit not because of his acting but for his innocent face which creates sympathy in the mind of audience.

@Shiva I second that. Was speaking of Alia in comparison to the others mentioned who I don't even consider actresses. They are glam girls and Insta models who try to act. Sara Ali Khan is the mascot of nepotism. Love Tabu. Tapsee is also a good actress. And the advent of item song girls such as Sunny, Jacqueline, Nora etc has produced a new marker for these non-actresses to take a firm hold of the limelight.
I hardly comment on UA-cam but after watching "Anand" I just felt like commenting. Wonderful movie and it touched me on so many levels. I am not someone who takes life lightly but in all this seriousness I had forgotten to be myself and live life. I met someone recently, It was unplanned, not visioned even, and never in my rarest thoughts I had imagined meeting that person, but it was the call of the universe as I believe it, and after meeting that person, I realized that life is so delightful if you live and appreciate your small moments and stop trying to make it grand without the actual need. The universe did conspire for me to meet that "Someone" and to make me realize that life is indeed beautiful, and believe it or not that "Someone" is the reason that I watched this amazing movie. Well, as beautifully as this movie was written, so was my fate to watch this movie. I am literally surprised.

Basically we all wish to express ourselves in every moment possible, and that's why most of them share their thoughts.
