Missing the real talented artists. Ashok Kumar ,Dina Pathak, Shasikala played their part so well.
Such a beautiful, innocent and what a lively movie it is,although Iam 89 born person but still like old movies and songs like I was born in that era only ☺️

Because today commercialisation and business aspect has overpowered the primary reason behind movies! People no more want to watch movies because of relaxation and entertainment. Demands have risen in life. People have that bloody cellphone from where they love to watch nasty web series that has simply nothing to do with fun, entertainment and simplicity. I recall the famous words from a movie called Bawarchi that Rajesh Khanna sir said onscreen “ It’s simple to be happy, but very hard to be simple”. Life is no more meant for living.. it’s more of flaunt, earning money and fulfilling your greeds.

That time of people demand was something different. But now today's people demand is something different and that is cheap.
No violence, no love, no drama, everything is real, I saw this movie several times, it's one of the most beautiful movie of Rekha 👌 melodious Music by Pancham Da and great voice of Asha Ji. Evergreen songs and heart touching story. 👍👍👍

Watched this film many times. One of hrishi da's best films. Rekha carries this film on her own shoulders. Dina pathak also did good work. And what to say about dada moni is he a legend.

when ever i watch khobsurat it always reminds me of how india was, india was so beautiful in the 80s we will never see that india or that era of people again, how its changed today. One cant even reconise it. This movie always makes me happy I recall watching Rekha in an interview she said making this movie was one of her happiest funniest and favorite time and movie she had ever done. Its shows

Rekha really succeeded to have place and honour after leaving Amitabh Bachan. With Amitabh she always has second leading place, but with other heroes she always had first leading or top role in the films , so became even more successful in her career.

Ashok Kumar was an actor par excellence. Great film. All actors did a fantastic job.
The movie is overall very good. It has an interesting and plain story.Almost every actor is a well-known film personality. Rekha is a major character in the story of the movie and she has really performed an amazing role.. There is also a lot of comedy in it. The events appear so beautiful on the screen. Old times were really beautiful and peaceful. Wish that time return back.

I decided to watch this film as a Rakesh Roshan movie. Came to know that this is directed by Hrushikesh Mukherjee only when I saw the titles.
Hrushikesh Mukherjee , in this film, reminds us Basu Chatterjee. The same family set-up and humour. I prefer his films like Namak Haram,with a political tint.
