They are respectful your not wrong and they are also really good people that the world needs more of and in every country, but if they do not ask permission its call trespassing and if the owners there they can shoot them or start and case on them or they could even go to jail they have to ask they ask for the safety of them and to make sher they have themselves legally ok like nothing can turn on them. In any cercomstacs you should ask anyways but yea happy new year.

Also.. as the officer said, they rather not have to subpoena them in case of foul play and they'd have to testify in court.
At the moment there's a crime scene, the police is responsible of it.. if they let a civilian without any legal qualification handle it, they will be liable for anything...

Thanks! I realize my donation seems small but times are hard for most, and I myself is no exception.
I am blessed to be able to follow this group and to be able to see these heart wreching videos. This video is a very touching one, to see Jared and Sam choke up on finding Ethan after all this time. Even though he may have felt he needed to end things there, I am sure that he hoped that someone would find him so his parents can bring him home and lay him to rest.
It may be of comfort that they have found the body that once held his soul and can now let his soul rest peacefully. However, the way that they dismissed AWP as if they aren't welcome anymore, and that the team of people that should have found him just as easily as Jared and Sam has, now want to swoop in and take the credit for the find and recovery
I feel these two men deserve to be apart of bringing Ethan out of that cold water so his family can now have some closure, and for these two guys to know that he is recovered in a manner that is dignified and respected.

I see this video has hit the youtube algorithm so ill give you guys this: If you ever find yourself in a similar situation do this. Don't panic, the car will float for a minute or two, first remove your seatbelt, then try to open the window, if the window does not open get any sharp item (you can remove your headrest) and break the window, if there are no sharp objects you can use you can break the window with your elbow. If you can't break the window wait for the car to fully fill up with water, take a deep breath right before the car fully fills up, now the pressure inside the car is the same as outside and you can open your door after which you can swim to the surface safely.

Just a minor observation. I get confused with the licence plate, the Missing Persons Poster at 1:04 indicates it would read AUZ 382. That's what I read at 11:40 under water as well. Nevertheless everyone refers to it as AUZ 387 numerous times. In a serious matter like this I am surprised nobody ever raised that mismatch during the process.

As for the local dive team, and emergency management, I can see them wanting to run the show, even if more professional people are available, and even though it’s just a recovery, it’s an excellent chance for them to go through their protocol and do the job, which they might not do much, and in doing so maybe they might be able to act fast enough to actually save a life.
God bless everyone involved in this recovery, but especially those from this channel who choose to go out, on their own, without any government backing, and help find loved ones so their friends and family can get some closure, give their loved one a proper burial and hopefully move on from this multi year nightmare of just not knowing where their loved one is, or if they are alive. I just subscribed to your channel after I came across it a few days ago. I've been binge-watching some of your videos and will continue to do so. I love the fact that you show the joking around among yourselves, but when you find a body, everything turns to respecting the dead and calling the authorities. Please keep doing what you're doing, because you're bringing some long-needed closure to families who desperately need it - as well as cleaning up the environment. My heart goes out to Ethen's family.

I've been an AWP member for a couple of months now, and I can't tell you how impressed I am with everyone involved with AWP. I am a gay old man living in a nursing home, but feel if even I was underwater, you'd look for me. God bless all of you.

As I posted elsewhere here, many years ago I was on vacation in Miami. I saw on the News a case where they found a car at bottom of a canal out towards Everglades. It had 4 or 5 (I think) missing teens inside, who had been missing for years. I forget how many years. This was probably 35 years ago or so. I think they had been missing for a lot of years.

R.I.P. Ethan, a sad ending. So glad his family have closure and can lay him to rest. That police officer looked really emotional and shaken up at the end. Well done for finding Ethan and getting him back to his family.

Small towns do not get much of this type of stuff. However, recently, my town has been getting a lot of messed up stuff. Car accidents is easy to deal with. Murders, shootings. Ect is not.

@@brandoncaldwell95 , I felt really sorry for him, having to be professional, whilst giving an interview, when he was obviously so upset. I am really sorry that your town is going through such a difficult time. So many young people here in the UK are killing each other, and it seems that suicides are also on the rise, especially since COVID. It is heartbreaking to see. Take care. Sending best wishes
