I own 30 Invictas and counting. For the money, they can’t be beat. We in the Invicta community couldn’t care less about the haters. It’s a personal choice and, let’s face it, a $100 watch does exactly what a $20,000 watch does. It keeps time.
If you are buying to please others, something is wrong. End of the day, as you said, a lot of Invicta buyers aren't into high horology and I'll add that those that are don't always find it worth the exorbitant price tags. Enjoy what you buy is the motto and Invicta does well at making that possible for lots of people, which was the original mission of the actual founder in 1837. It's the brand that got me into watches, and, while I don't ever mistake them for high end pieces, they actually spec very well for their price point, comparatively. I went on to buy Breitling, TAG, Longines, Tutima, Hamilton, Tissot, Certina and many more, but Invicta remains very affordable fun, and props to Eyal for the marketing machine. Minus points for deceptive marketing in some cases, but many brands are guilty of that, unfortunately.
That INVICTA cruise put chills up and down my spine. Difficult to put into words how that experience would be, but jumping overboard would look like a great option. But as they say, if they enjoy them and have fun with it, good for them. People collect thimbles, bells, spoons, whatever, why not ugly as sin cheap watches? But seriously, they are decidedly NOT for me, but the people look like they are having fun with it. I never knew INVICTA was close to a cult.
Great analytical video. I got 4 Invictas, one of which is a tehnomarine and they're all automatic chronographs except for one. My first auto chrono was a Valjoux 7750 Technomarine that I got new for nothing. The other two are NE88(8R39) and Dubois Depraz 2021 with the ETA 2892 as the base. My only non chrono watch has a Sellita SW200 in it. The service has been relatively good despite some hiccups here and there. They do deliver but other than these rare Invictas, I am no fan of the rest of the cheap quartz watches and their wacky cartoonish and gaudy themes. Even these ones are a tad gaudy but their movements and build quality make them well worth the price I paid. To me Invicta is a flashy trash can you can occasionally find some rare jewels in. You have to go through it.
what about aragon? looks like put together with stock invicta parts, i wonder if invicta is oem ing the watches or are they just outright invicta with another name slapped on

This is such a well put together video on a topic that has not been this well laid out before. Subscribed.

The biggest comment I have for public display is the narrator really needs to learn how to pronounce Eyal’s entire name correctly!
I like Invicta but some of their watches are too big and the color schemes are bad but not all Invicta watches are bad
