  • Woodworking every day is a Mission. People work out every day because they love it and It makes them feel good. Well Woodworking does the same for me. My goal is to provide Woodworking videos as often as I can to help people fall in love with something. Woodworking provides a tangible object that you can keep forever or sell for a profit. Woodworking has changed my life and I want it to change yours grab a cup of coffee, beer or whiskey, depending on what kind of day it is and watch my video with me.
I mentioned a scroll saw on homedepot.com and while I think that is a good option for the budget person, I don’t think it’s the best option for $100. Please do your research and look into different kinds of scrollsaw‘s. This will assure that you find the best one for your budget.
I think it’s important to find a hobby. I think it’s important to find a drive other than just work and family Woodworking has done just that my hopes is that I can help one person fall in love with Woodworking and get them selves out of any rut that they find themselves into. Mental health is all over this world and it’s a real thing but with anxiety and depression comes the chance to take action and change I am hoping that my videos can help somebody in need of that kind of change.

I read your description about doing wood working every day. My friend, woodworking and more specifically scrolling are what keep me interested in life some days. Appreciate the video and I did fast forward during the sanding. 😊

That is awesome! I’m thinking about getting a scroll saw competition going. Where I create a pattern and everyone completes the same pattern and adds stain or different woods. Best design wins a Amazon gift card or something.

Did you join scroll saw village?

Your stuff looks great! I'm just getting started in intarsia, after doing other types of projects for a number of years now. Can you talk a bit about the inflatable sanding drum? Specifically, I would like to find out where to get one. Also, do they mount to any standard bench grinder? I saw that Grizzly makes a drum/flap sander that would work well for this, but it doesn't get very good reviews, and it's not an inexpensive machine. Thanks!

There’s something about being told to, “sit back and relax” that makes me want to sit back and relax. I paused the video to say this, now I’m going to relax and watch the rest.

Your video popped up on my home UA-cam page. Your comments about the process are helpful. Had the harbor Freight version of your belt sander , Returned it as it would not track using finer grits belts. Thanks, and yes some editing required . LOL!

Haha! Yeah I need to produce some more videos.. I do a lot more wood working in the fall and winter vs the summer since my shop isn’t insulated. Are you working on any projects now?

That looks amazing man. I bought a scroll saw and used it five years ago on a project for building a Adirondack chair. Haven’t used it since and thought I should look to see what other people were doing. I saw your video where you introduced the works you’ve done and my attention went straight to the fish… looked at your channel and landed on this. I’m super impressed and looking to tackle it. Thanks for the idea!

Wow thanks man! I am in the processes of trying to figure out a way to make us scroll sawers share our builds and event compete. Hope to have some new videos out soon!

So I just finished the eagle. I was wondering if you had any advise on sticking it to a backer.
I used softwood maple for the whole thing and I’ve decided I’ll stain the wood. Haven’t stained it yet.

Great job! Thanks so much for sharing! I was wondering if you could share all the steps you mentioned earlier. I am just getting into it and it would be greatly appreciated if you could even show how you glue it and then stain and prime. What glue do you use? Do you have to use clamps? Etc. All the details matter 😊 thanks so much in advance! 🙌

I believe I bought them from Judy gale Roberts website. She has those sanding drums for a reasonable price. They are so great for taking the edge off for intarsia!

It was good to see the detail. I must ask. (amateur hour here) what is the sander that you have attached to your Delta grinder?
