Peter still seems to forget Oscar got to turn 1 before LN at Hungary and then drove off into the distance. He also forgets that as leader Oscar had pit rights yet BOTH TIMES they serviced Lando first at a track with a large undercut effect.. This Hungary talk is just mental illness. They service Oscar first both times he's gone.. Oscar was reassured just after that first service that they'd sort that out later.. FCOL Peter it's getting old mate..
Unfortunately Peters heart rules his mind. EDIT: I heard him mention the Piastri move on Lando in Monza cost Mclaren a 1 -2 finish, ignoring the fact that it was Leclerc's 1 stop strategy that affected that.
Oscar had that slip up and hit the gravel during his second stint. Would he have had the confidence at that time to hold off Lando ? It's one of landos favourite tracks and he could have chased Oscar if they swapped early. Ironically I predicted Oscar would win Hungary but I reckon Silverstone is when the stars aligned for him. Can he pull off the WDC.... Keeps doing Baku performances yes. Austin and the Flexi wings red bull brings that weekend will decide if verstappen can do enough though.
@@fhoenixx5185 oscar does NOT suffer from confidence issues in the slightest. he’d fight lando tooth and nail for a win no matter if he went into the gravel on new tires
@@hafbintsam he kinda mentioned it in a interview over the European races that he got down the technical issues. His tyre wear etc. he obliged at Australia by team orders to let him through and he did. I don't think that's gonna happen again. All I'm saying is pre Silverstone he had some teething issues but as in politics so in F1 a weekend race a month ago is a long time. I'll dispute Hungary but every race since he is iceman with a lethal look on his eyes.
Very short memories re what happened in Hungary. Lando was gifted an undercut on Oscar on the BASIS HE GIVE THE POSITION BACK. Lando didn’t gift Oscar a win, just gave back the unfair advantage he was given earlier!! 😮
Oh yeah, been commenting on that quite a bit. People want to talk about team orders !! One very simple team order, which almost all teams do, is prioritise pit stops for the leading driver. McLarens (LN) have been undercutting OP every chance they get. LN wouldn't have anything like the WDC point advantage without it, plus the four times (including Australian GP) "move over Oscar
Peter Windsor, on Oscar's win at Baku: "the guy that made the race boring from start to finish"! For me, I was on the edge of my seat for most of that race...
I’m just gonna say it, Piastri is the new iceman. Cool, calm, composed, drives brilliantly to the flag and deals with the hubaloo after the race. I love Lando but he and McLaren are not ready to win full heartedly. Car dominance will always change between teams but you have to be ready to capitalize when it’s your turn. Piastri came in with his head down focused solely on driving the car. That’s the right mindset, he doesn’t concern himself with being the number 1 or number 2 driver or the drama that happens over the course of a race weekend. He has the championship mindset of give me a car and I’m gonna push it to the flag just leave me to it.
I really have respect for Peter and his f1 knowledge. I find this year he has gotten very biased which i suppose we are all guilty of but i thought as a journalist you should be unbiased. I just feel he was slightly deminishing what Oscar had done by saying it was easier than racing lando against a ferarri.
Agreed, I like Peters analysis, but he definitely has his biases. He keeps emphasising how good the McLaren is, but doesn't seem to credit how good the Ferrari is. Charles was on pole, Charles gapped Oscar by 6 seconds in the first 16 laps, Oscar couldn't get away from Charles on the hard tires, you can't do that in a bad car. At Monza, Oscar, apparently, 'racing' Lando. according to Peter, could only get 5 seconds on Charles after 3 quarters of the race, and Charles was looking after his tires ! Lando couldn't get by Charles, until the undercut, , you can't do that in a bad car. . The McLaren may be the best car, but it's not THAT much better than the Ferrari's, and even the Mercs are improving.
Lando has never had a problem with wheel spin coming out of corners? You know he was botching coming out of turn one and coming out of the first chicane at the start of Monza just days ago right? He was driving so poorly it isn’t any surprise that Piastri passed him. But he had to lift to control the car after snapping so much trying to get on the accelerator that Charles got through too.
Piastri is 150% the real deal, zero hype, and unlike Lando, has that true champions spirit which manifests itself in geting the job done, he also holds his nerve and composure when the going gets tough and the pressure is on - a genuine future champion, with one on one race craft, hard racer without the overly aggressive, run em off we've all too often seen with a certain petulant, and to think he's pretty much not long arrived on the F1 scene - bravo to the young man ! and more please.
@@thethirdman225You could see at each race, Oscar has been getting better and better at tyre management, which in turn has led to better race pace management.
@@Toro_Da_Corsa Bull and not Red. Truth is sounds like you are triggered by praise for Piastri, praise that is more than justified. This has jack &hi77 to do with Hamilton, unless like all haters you somehow decide it is. Lando has been around a long time now, long enough for many to have recognised that he struggles to get the job done, despite the excellent car he now has underneath, might be an inconvenient truth for you but truth all the same, get over it. Whereas his team mate Piastri, who has been on the scene only a short time shows all the qualities of a genuine champion to be - fighting spirit, excellent hard and fair one on one race craft, stays calm, focused and composed when the going gets tough/under pressure, and that he can ultimately get the job done, all areas where Lando tends to be found wanting. This why folk are here - leave Hamilton out of it and leave us to give Piastri his due credit - you've come across a bit desperate.
@@Toro_Da_Corsa no..at least not by me. I'm a Max'fan, but asa Oscar joined F1 at McLaren (when Max was still the dominant driver) I already thought 'oops, Oscar could be the near future threath to Max..not knowing yet Max's dominance would vanish like it has. There's just something about him that made me aware already in his first season. Winning Sprintrace even before Lando winning any race. So nope, not trying to put Lando down in favor of Lewis. Just an unbiast observation. 😉🏎🏁❤️
Ouch 😨 But this shows what Lando has to swallow. He has been loyal to McLaren for years driving their crap and now that he can finally harvest McLaren is like: Sorry your on your own mate. I find Lando and Piastri both really great but McLaren is not a team I will ever become fan of.
Remember how bad McLaren was in the beginning of Lando’s career. Not a fair comparison. I get it, “what have you done for me lately “….Oscar didn’t have that experience so all we can do is judge them 2024 onward..Oscar has been right their with Lando for the most part.
Having seniority is not a thing if your ‘junior’ teammate is better than you, your team has to back the driver who is going to win more races.. and that’s what will happen. Just ask Mark Webber or Danny Ric
Oscar has now beaten lando in 5 of the last 6. If lando can’t beat his teammate, maybe he isn’t up to challenging for the championship. The pile on of McLaren by all the Brits in the media the last couple weeks has been a bit unbecoming, but not surprising. They can’t see their own biases.
@@thetraveldrunk Mathematically, there is at least as much chance that Piastri will finish in front of Norris this year as there is that Norris will be World Champion.
Oscar has the 'TOUCH' or "The FEEL' for driving on the edge. Lewis has it, Max, Schumacher certainly did, Senna etc... He'll win the WDC next year if given the car.
Was finally worth the wait.....to see Lando Norris eat some humble pie. After all this "papaya new rules"........just took one slip up from Lando......and Oscar took full advantage, took his chance, and didn't............bottle it

I'm sure Pete "Winsor" Will admit that he was maybe a little dismissive of Oscar. Also, I regularly watch and enjoy Pete's content, but that doesn't mean I always agree with him. He might think I'm full of shite today, but we might see eye to eye at the next race. Please don't mistake my rebuttal for rudeness. 👍
I think he took it as an excuse , cause he already made a mistake in that lap prior to the yellow flag. He was so fast with his decission to go into the pitlane. In hindsight,it feels like he 'copped out' (not sure if that's proper English, but okay).. instead of keep going. I could be totally wrong here. Leclerc under estimated Piastri in lots of ways. How far back he'll attack from, how good the breaks on his car are, ability to withstand pressure, ability to look after his tires. He'll be prepared for all that in future
@@SaintKimbo Those two are top tier. I remember watching Leclerc at Baku in his Alfa Romeo days and thinking how clean he was and how well he managed to stay out of trouble. Piastri is very similar in that regard, IMHO.

Lando exceeded damage limitations, starting 15th and finishing ahead of the championship leader. Basically , Lando proved once again that he would have won the race if he was out front. His first 2 sectors were faster than Piastri in qualifying
@mvd4436 these SIMPS don't see this. Oscar has a couple of good races and these guys go crazy. Where was Oscar in the Start of the year? Who was performing for McLaren then.
Ok I understand Peter’s take on team dynamics now. Everyone kind of has their own take, I think if the team sets it up, that’s their intent given all of the facts. The mistakes of it, are correlated after the facts. I think McLaren underestimated Oscar. Does anyone think Alpine might have underestimated Oscar. Now take that a step further back, how the hell did Renault get its self defeating nose anywhere near him. The paddock underestimated Oscar. His demeanour is his secret weapon. No one expects it, he just does it. Leclerc realised after the first reporter said to him it must of been a great race given how the rookie just gave us a master class in passing and blocking you the fastest man at Baku for 31 laps. At that moment Leclerc realised he was the NPC in the narrative and it wasn’t a commiseration of his error, he underestimated Oscar and realised how badly he had been had. Everyone just assumes he is a rookie I can deal with later. That is freaking scary when no one on the grid has thought about dealing with him yet, too late it appears. I will add that sly fox Lewis has been quietly enjoying guys like Oscar, he most definitely loves that these people who think that they are entitled getting upset by new drivers. Hey George meet Kimi, see Alonso for instructions I am too old dog for this garbage.
I noted Oscar's throttle control out of corners pretty early, and with DRS, this is a extra valuable asset. Whether you're trying to pick up DRS and or get a run onto the straight, or to break or defend DRS (sorry if I have stated the obvious for some). I was calling him Professor Piastri. Not exactly like Prost with the calculation of points and places, and Piastri has that sometimes ruthless aggression, which reminds me of Jack Brabham, or Jones, I suppose. I read a comment of someone comparing him to Jim Clark. I reckon that's about the best compliment you could get, whether you're a racing car driver or not.
I think Cameron must have relayed to PW the summary of Cam's last video and comments. ie "Get over your man-crush on Lando and give Oscar some real credit".
The biggest criticism PW gave McLaren is putting Oscar next to Lando, because he predicted it would create issues as Oscar is too good for a no.2 driver. He has repeatedly taken this point. Sounds like he values Oscar, don’t you think?
Oscar is everything we wish Lando was, and we may be wrong as to who the real McLaren prodigy is. Colopinto Driver of the Day=given the car yes and it being only his 2nd race in F1 and getting into the points (2) is more than worth it given his whole weekend performance.
Why was no one else’s lap “aborted” from the yellows. There were two in the last minute of Q1. Max was in sector one (50 seconds on the timer) behind Ocon when the puncture happened - yellow flashed for about 8-10 seconds. He improved on that hot lap. Didn’t abort. Hamilton was behind Norris and Sainz behind him during the second yellow. I checked - all of them improved their time. And the yellow flashes on the wheel for EVERYone. Why was no one else affected and complaining? Norris screwed up. Why did he go wide on turn 16 if he had aborted? He hadn’t until then. You can watch a plume of dust kick up with how wide he went - probably let off to avoid the wall too. After turn 16 it is flat out to the line with good visibility. He screwed up turn 16 and is blaming a yellow. It’s weird that people are defending him.
Lando is all hat, no cattle. Most overrated driver in the field. He's pretty much WASTING a "cheat" car because he can't get through a weekend w/o making one fatal mistake. He's just bad under pressure.
@@chestermarcol3831 I agree that he’s lost at the moment. I still think he’s great - I like him. People forget so quickly how beloved and praised he was. But he is a bit lost. Spiralling in negative thoughts. Seemingly making a big mistake every weekend, compounded by the management mess at McLaren.
Peter is saying that McLaren does not need Piastri if they have Norris. But this is absolutely incorrect, as Norris still makes a ton of mistakes and bad calls DESPITE having 120+ races experience. It's very logical to take a good driver when your "main" driver is not really reliable. I would say that it is similar to Ferrari situation with Leclerc who is also capable of driving great but is ultimately volatile and not fully reliable compared to Verstappen or peak Hamilton.
7:37 as usual, bad take from Peter. Leclerlc literally had checo breathing down his neck, he couldnt just sit back and distance himself from Oscar to cool everything, else he would be doing it from checo in 2nd
Does Lando pays to you for publicity? Last week you seemed so devastated, this week maybe you realize Piastri is the better driver... Have a nice day Sir.
I can only surmise that if Oscar wins in Singapore, the smiles will leave the paddock. Should Lando & Oscar tangle like Carlos & Sergio did in Baku, well then....
I always appreciate your chats with Mr. Windsor. One of the highlights of post-race conversations for me. The analysis and the respectful banter is always so great.
How he emphasises that it is the yellow flag destroying Lando's qualifying. He was down by 2/10s on his own time in sector 2 and slipped on the curb on entry to sector 3 (where he probably lost another couple of 10th at least). He might have qualified but no where near the "I was on track to be number 2 if the yellow flag hadn't come". Peter makes no mention of this. I mean he noticed Lando having a better sector 1 and 2 than Oscar but not the yellow sector and slip up from Lando Also, what would have been the consequences of driving through the yellow flag like Oscar did? A slap on the wrist, lap time being deleted, a ten spot penalty. There wasn't much to lose and he should know that after 6 years. If the team has to tell you over the radio to drive through the yellow, definitely a harsher penalty
In a fair world Piastri would be ahead of Lando on points but luck and team management were against him earlier in the season. In hindsight McLaren would have been better favoring Oscar at the start of the season but that was never going to happen. The next few races are absolutely critical to the future careers of Lando and Piastri. If Piastri continues his trajectory he may become the clear dominant driver. But Lando is still excellent and I don’t think this is over yet. Lets see how Lando reacts
You got people saying lando is better cus he’s ahead of Oscar but my guess is if you let them race to the end of the season it’s very possible that Oscar could beat lando
Oscar is the leading points scorer over the last 11 races, not just 7 as all the so called experts keep saying. Don't they own their own calculators or do they all just parrot what others say?
Yeah my money is on Oscar to jump Lando. Hes been putting in great performances all season but had a run of unfortunate strategy calls and damage inflicted on him in the early part of the season. So i think up until now his performance has flown under the radar, just now we are seeing what happens when circumstance lands his way.

PW being way too soft on Lando. If Russell has enough wits about him to only come off the throttle just enough to demonstrate he obeyed yellow flags, Lando could have done the same. Lando was up 6 tenths from the cut off time to get into q2, he could have easily come off throttle enough to lose a couple of tenths and still make it through to q2. Thats putting aside the misake he made on the exit curb of T16. Lando just too conservative in that instance and lacking the wit and ruthlessness that he has also lacked in many other circumstances. Such as the disasterous attempts to overtake on Max in Austria. If he had his wits about him, he wouldve let Max cover off the inside, make the corner tighter for him, got a better run on Max into turn 4 with DRS and make the move stick. Instead he tried multiple dumb moves into T3. That also was a 17 point swing in Max' favour in the championship. Norris shows he is not consistent enough, not calculating and ruthless in the same away Piastri showed with his precision move on Leclerc and placing the car exactly where it needed to be to keep him behind. Bottom line, Lando COULD HAVE backed off AND still finished the lap to get into q2. All the stupid comments about a marshall breaking an ankle or a cat going across the track, seriously? That would be double waves yellows obviously or a red flag. Stupid analogy and so frustrating to hear these garbage excuses. Im glad you didnt let him get away with that rubbish and maintained your position that any logical f1 pundit should have.
He wants him to back up the trash talk he was giving Hamilton about having the best car where he has it now n can't even get a podium with it. I've witnessed Hamilton do it plenty of times in a good car as good as the one land has now. So lando needs to prove his shit, but he bottles all the time 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He went to p6 don’t forget two place gifted cause Checo.. also GR woulda been p5 but of course gets lucky again. Started p3 and would have ended up further than he started again
Lando should have been 3rd or 2nd or 1st, not 4th by accident. Lando only gained 3 points. Peter wants McLaren to stop being bush league. Bad q1 strategy, insulting instructions to Lando on tire management where Lando is best at it, failing to coach Lando to better corners, failing to coach Lando to better emotional space, 3 race too late dropping Papaya rules, and having two number 1 drivers.

Peter's obsession over Lando is becoming outlandish. And on just what basis is he able to make so many and such dramatic about or on behalf of Lando? Lando is confused. Lando is devastated by Oscar's drive. Lando is feeling sick as a dog. Lando has the worst feeling in the world. He does not even state them as his opinions. He voices them as facts. Just where does he know it all from? Is he Lando's manager? Does Lando talk to him and reveal to him what is on his mind and how he is feeling? Why should we give any more credence to his claims as opposed to what Lando himself actually says?
There is a spectrum of acceptable outcomes associated to following safety procedures and Norris was far too conservative and lacks the ruthlessness. Bottom line, Lando COULD HAVE backed off enough to follow safety procedures AND still finished the lap to get into q2. He was 6 tenths up from the cut off time for q2, he could have eased the throttle, lost a tenth or two and still finish the lap to get into q2. If Russell has enough wits about him to only come off the throttle just enough to demonstrate he obeyed yellow flags, Lando could have done the same. Lando just too conservative in that instance and lacking the wit and ruthlessness that he has also lacked in many other circumstances. And this is where Peter Windsor is missing a trick, its entirely connected to his race craft and how he handles himself on track. For example, Norris' disasterous attempts to overtake on Max in Austria. If he had his wits about him, he wouldve let Max cover off the attempted overtake into T3 on the inside makeing the corner tighter for him, got a better run on Max out of T3 into turn 4 with DRS and make the move stick. Instead he tried multiple dumb moves into T3 that resulted in a DNF. That race alone was also was a 17 point swing in Max' favour in the championship. Norris shows he is not consistent enough, not calculating and ruthless in the same away Piastri showed with his precision move on Leclerc and placing the car exactly where it needed to be to keep him behind.
Lando will be annoyed about Baku because with his usual excellent qualifying, tyre management and race pace, that victory could so easily have been his. But as an Oscar fan, I’m so glad Oscar had, and took, his chance to show us what he can do.
For Peter to even ponder whether Danny Ric could’ve won yesterday is frankly blasphemous. For such an erudite scholar of the sport, I’m shockened by his very blatant and overt support of certain drivers. The only time I’ve seen Daniel show that level of race craft was back in 2018 Monaco but he was a well established driver by then, 8 years deep. To coin one of your beloved phrases ‘what have you done for me lately’? His last win was in Monza and we all know what happened there but I’ll remind those at the back… Lando had far superior race pace, but for the good of the team he defended and settled for a 1-2. This is a clear example of helping a teammate. Lando schooled Daniel in 2021 and easily could’ve won Monza. Any suggestion that Daniel could’ve won in equal machinery is utterly laughable. He’s neck and neck with Yuki for crying out loud. This sycophancy of Daniel and Lando makes me wonder if Peter’s actually Horner in disguise. There’s only one no1 driver at McLaren and his name isn’t Lando. Do better gentlemen!

Cameron, I'm yet to watch your breakdown on Max underwhelming performance in the last 7 races. I hope you haven't caught the bias bug like Martin Brundle. Surely, you hold SLH feet to the fire when he underperforms regardless of the state of the car 😅
I commend Oscars drive, but i wouldn't blow it out of proportion just yet. I will be convinced if he performs at this level consistently in the next races. Otherwise, he's indeed a force to reckon with in the immediate future.
Again - great combination of you and Peter. You focus Peter on current issues and Peter has such technical/team management insights. I was blaming Lando for mistaking white flag for yellow in q1 - I forgot that McLaren got him in that box at 30s to go. And I was wondering why Max fell back to Perez - very slight wrong damping adjustment into Parc Ferme - that's why a good set up engineer with confidence is required to set up for Max. And I was also thinking good job Leclerc putting pressure on Piastry, when Leclerc should have backed off, cooled his tires and then waited to the last 5 laps. Great race because the cars are so close, and the track is not Monaco.
Im a mclaren guy - Im very happy to have Lando and Oscar. Peter has got the driver dynamics within the team so wrong imo. Lando wasn't given a a lucrative extension to be the face of mclaren - he was given it because he is one of the fastest drivers on the grid. I don't believe oscar or lando will dominate each other - they will continue to both win races if they have a competitive car. They are very different, they have very different strengths. This is ideal for Mclaren. Peter says how upset Lando will be waking up after Baku - but I think he will be quite confident. Did you take a look at his pace? it was rediculous. When it comes to drivers, Mclaren have always, always preferred having the two best drivers they can get in the car. This is actually the case for most of the teams on the grid right now. PEople seem to think that the greatest priority to a race team is winning championships. It isn't. Winning races is what they want. It drives their competitive spirit, attracts the sponsors and the headlines, and is ultimately why people spend stupid hours trying to get the job done. The lifeblood of racers is winning races. Having oscar and Lando will give them more wins than having some lesser support driver. Finally, they didn't dump Ricciardo at great expense just to get oscar in as a support driver - they wanted him as they saw in him what it seems the world is just waking up to now. What Mclaren have with their drivers now was their objective, not a problem.
Tires weren't the issue for Gilles, he went out for a late qually run at Zolder because Pironi had pipped him for pole...and after Imola he HATED Pironi. Sadly his intense passion bit him hard.
I don't know what McLaren changed in their cars but it seems almost "too good to be true" if you catch my drift. Lando not having problems with wheel spin? Are you f*cking kidding me? LOL Have you WATCHED his starts? Piastri is the better driver. With the "CAR" they've given Lando, HE is the only thing holding it back.
Love mr windsor But always going on and on about how you should only have one good racer in the team … F1 would be quite boring if that was always the case. Glad it isn’t

Yep they just don't get it
Unfortunately Peters heart rules his mind.

His tyre wear etc. he obliged at Australia by team orders to let him through and he did. I don't think that's gonna happen again.
Piastri the new iceman.

I really have respect for Peter and his f1 knowledge. I find this year he has gotten very biased which i suppose we are all guilty of but i thought as a journalist you should be unbiased. I just feel he was slightly deminishing what Oscar had done by saying it was easier than racing lando against a ferarri.
PW will diminish all of Oscar's race moves in 2024 as he is so invested in Lando.

Good point. Lando underestimated Oscar too in Monza. He got pole, got a clean start, then suddenly he got mugged.
All that is well and good. But never ever say “must of”(line 8) ever again. It makes you look like an idiot
Not exactly like Prost with the calculation of points and places, and Piastri has that sometimes ruthless aggression, which reminds me of Jack Brabham, or
Jones, I suppose.
Yeah for once it seemed like he gave him some sort of 👍
The biggest criticism PW gave McLaren is putting Oscar next to Lando, because he predicted it would create issues as Oscar is too good for a no.2 driver. He has repeatedly taken this point.

I mean he noticed Lando having a better sector 1 and 2 than Oscar but not the yellow sector and slip up from Lando
Also, what would have been the consequences of driving through the yellow flag like Oscar did? A slap on the wrist, lap time being deleted, a ten spot penalty. There wasn't much to lose and he should know that after 6 years. If the team has to tell you over the radio to drive through the yellow, definitely a harsher penalty
In a fair world Piastri would be ahead of Lando on points but luck and team management were against him earlier in the season.

Lando just too conservative in that instance and lacking the wit and ruthlessness that he has also lacked in many other circumstances.
Yeah, Windsor backed my opinion on the Q1 yellow when everybody else questioned Lando's reaction.
Why the low grade hate for Elon Musk?
Because he is woke and the media. Glad I wasn't the only one to see his unwarranted BS comment.
@@kjay5056 The disdain was palpable & it certainly felt like political virtue-signaling.
Peter didn’t like that 65 year old comment last pod cam 💀💀💀
Lando will be annoyed about Baku because with his usual excellent qualifying, tyre management and race pace, that victory could so easily have been his.
But as an Oscar fan, I’m so glad Oscar had, and took, his chance to show us what he can do.
Sad that's the last time I listen to Peter Windsor. A Elon hater is someone I can't respect. Shame.
Need more of these! 🙏
If you're going to critique someone with the achievements of Elon Musk, you'd best have some quality arguments! Or at least, have one

Amazing video, brother. Love it. Keep up the hard work!
The motivational words to Yuki are for NETFLIX, not for Yuki… they know drive to survive is listening.
Urgh drive to survive… 🤮
@@yassverthat corona virus got DTS the views because people didn't have nothing to watch and all of a sudden F1 has become one of the most popular sports and has a shitload more fans and of which most of them had probably never watched a F1 race in their lives but are now experts 😂👍
That had nothing to do with DRS, it was a game of chicken with Carlos far enough ahead that Checo could see what the score was. All Perez had to do was drift left to preserve his race.
It needs getting Fernando Alonso, now of Aston Martin, to answer the question, "How does it feel to have been Sir 'LionHeart' Lewis' so-called leading No1 driver and experienced his 'rookie' team mate at McLaren, totally outshine him?" (a then back-to-back, double F1 world champion) and all he could do in response was to block/hold him up in the pit lane and blackmail Ron Dennis boss of McLaren, with releasing incriminating e-mails (that culminated in a FiA imposed fine of USD $100Million), unless Hamilton's successful enthusiasm was curbed big time, allowing him, (Alonso), a clear path to win Grand Prix . . .
After 20 odd years on The Grid in racing and to show for it, he has only a rep for some great drives in truth and a couple of F1 GP WDC TITLES (2005 & 2006) won before Hamilton was even in Formula 1.
Whereas, the legendary 'Dark Knight', Sir 'LionHeart' Lewis, has so far:The sport's only claim to be a CENTURION
105×F1 GP VICTORIES
104×F1 GP POLE POSITIONS
201×F1 GP PODIUM FINISHES
USD $100MILLION p.a. salary and a multi-year contract
in 2025 & soon it'll be:
Ferrari red's th' colour,
F1 Grand Prix's th' name;
Then y'hear Sir 'LionHeart' holler,
"Y'know, winning is my game!"
🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
8×F1 GP WDC TITLES
***sung to Chelsea FC's mantra:
"Blue is th' colour,
Football is the game;
We're all here together,
And winning is our aim!"😊
Just Sir 'LionHeart' Lewis Hamilton signing to race for Scuderia Ferrari put USD $7BILLION on Ferrari share value.
Ferrari sell supercars internationally, at a USD $MILLION a pop or more, so the only head that needs to be troubled at present, is Toto 'penny-pinching' Wolff - part owner and team principal of Mercedes AMG. He lost the team its most orized asset.🎉
The Netherlander, Max Verstappen, is also finding out,
"Uneasy lies a head that wears a crown!"
The English Immortal Bard: William Shakespeare's play: 'King Henry IV, Part Two'; that conveys the difficulties of being a king or someone with great kingship responsibilities.
(The line appears in Act III, Scene I of that famous theatrical piece).
Hamilton also knows all about that syndrome . . .

Funny stuff! Nice conversation gents.
I can't believe the way Lando has been driving lately is almost like he didn't spect pastries attacks since he hasn't been attacking him
Glad to see Windsor agree with me… lando’s problem was how late he was out in Q1…
Regarding DOTD: Hats off to Mr Windsor
Piastri seems to be step ahead Leclerc and Norris
Peter Windsor introduction never gets old 🐐🏎️🎤🏁
except that he cannot take anymore! :)
🤣
I love Elon! Backing trump was his best move!
This is why we want to hear from Peter Windsor: his nuanced take on that Q1 yellow flag incident schooled me!
I appreciate peters view on F1 but he can really keep his political views to himself. No body is here for that
Yup, but you know that is the new main stream media...tow the line for the left and woke crowd. It's pathetic and in full view!
I agree. The woke virus is insane
The civilised world loves Musk, the loons don’t, I wonder if Windsor has had his opinion created by headlines, or actual knowledge
Love mr windsor
But always going on and on about how you should only have one good racer in the team …
F1 would be quite boring if that was always the case. Glad it isn’t
He’s looking at it from a competitive standpoint though, and is quite right.
He was a former manager so it’s easy to see where he’s coming from.
PW would demote Oscar in a second, but would Lando be Peter's WDC?
@@bensynewsshoedown4999no he’s keeping Oscar all day he’s a short corner driver
Checko should have attempted the overtake on the inside of Charles at turn one, not the outside. He mucked it up. He's no Oscar.

Every botched pass from now on, "that's not an Oscar"
Wasn’t he blocked by Charles taking the inside run?
@@SaintKimbolet me Checko that 😅

Maybe Peter needs to be reminded of rules 1 and 3 of the comment guidelines. Be civil and respecful and challenge the argument rather than the personality. The first minute of the podcast is crap. If you don't like Elon fine then don't use his product. Leave your leftist bullshit at the door.
Are you family or summink? I mean jeez
@@Cameron-Cc Jeez no buddy, we don't want to hear his leftist political views. Why is that so hard for a journalist like Peter (or you) to understand? There are plenty of comments here not appreciating PW bad mouthing an accomplished business man like Musk.

We need to understand that McLaren could possibly have the best two drivers on the grid for years to come. They have the chance to develop both of these guys to be superstar. Let them race and gain experience so they can learn to race competitively.
Piastri definitely has Senna serenity, I genuinely believe he's Senna reincarnated 😎
