Need to do a little research on what chrome is. Chrome is actually a process/finish. For example. Steel bumper is coated with copper then nickel and a final special clear coating. Even on plastic/aluminum parts with age you can clearly see the hard coating peeling off. Painted surfaces flake.
The problem is, these things will do nothing other than hog parking spaces at Walmart. People rarely use these vehicles for the utility they're supposed to provide.

Went to a Ram dealer last week and they were asking $80k for their half ton trucks. They had a $10k market adjustment on just about every vehicle.
