Okay it's much better than the original! :D I when my teacher forced me to play this from time to time at university, I so hated it, but your version puts it into a completely different perspective. Thank you! edit: I just read that it's not your arrangement, but still, awesome work, thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Yeah, the composition is by Chrystian Dozza inspired by the Villa Lobos etude. He also did one for Etude no. 2 which I’ll be posting probably in January
Thank you! The link is to the site where Chrystian sells his music and I believe it only comes in standard notation (no TAB). All of my other videos are my own arrangements and I sell them with both standard notation and TABs
It's nice and simple, like pop music, aside from the right hand pick pattern, it has little to do with the original, and to me it is not nearly as interesting as the original
I see your point, but I would argue that the RH pattern is the whole point of the original Etude so saying it’s rewritten was just an easier way to make a more concise title. Thanks for watching!
@@AcousticOST My two favorite themes from the Ori games are The Ancestral Trees and Ku's First Flight. I got your tab for the Ancestral Trees and was wondering if you would consider arranging the other Ori theme, Ku's First Flight.
@@graydencheney I’ll take a listen and add it to my list. It’s a pretty big list so I can’t always get to everything lol. Hope the ancestral trees is goin well for you!
@@AcousticOST I only listened once but it sounded like you varied from the original Villa Libos pattern and used the RH pattern that Brouwer used in his Etudes Simples #6
Ah that’s really interesting, I’ll have to go back and listen to those Brouwer studies. Good ear cuz the pattern is only on 5 strings instead of 6 like the Villa Lobos. Also it’s not my composition just my performance. Thanks for watching!
If you had just given it a name, and said that it was inspired and (very) loosely based on the etude would actually make me take this more seriously... If this is what you call rewriting a song, there are a thousand different "rewrites" of villa lobos etude which does not call themselves that. Just following the fingering pattern can't really be called a rewrite can it? This just seems like going after clout and clickbaiting, it takes away from your actual version, which IMO isn't really that interesting (in comparison with Villa-lobos) considering that the motif and harmonic arrangement are pretty dull and something that I've heard a thousand times before, without anything that really makes it stand out melody-wise. Take this as you may, I've got to admit that the clickbaity and arrogant feel of the title for something so simple and poorly arranged, made me pretty pissed so I'm sorry if I'm being too harsh on my take. I would probably not care at all and even find it interesting that the fingering pattern was inspired by the etude, and enjoy it much more otherwise. Edit: Just read that it's not actually your composition. My point still stand regarding the composer, and if he actually called it a Rewrite of the etude... Also noticed that the title of the video isn't the same as the thumbnail. Hated the piece, your playng is really good though. Very clean and smooth.
@@planktonsilva9883 na realidade, essa música é de Christian Rozas, compositor brasileiro. E na realidade se trata mais de uma elaboração de ideia (a variação do padrão rítmico da mão direita) do quê uma reescrita. ;)
this does sound better than villa lobos etude no1. etude no 1 is kind of crappy musically it has some moments though this doesn't sound like it's a rewritten piece you just based it on the etude loosely and made your piece
Glad you enjoyed it! This isn’t my composition but yes, essentially it was just the composer making an original composition using the RH fingering of the original Etude
@@guitarskin9758 thank you! That right hand took many years to develop. I think a lot of people try and play too fast too early in their development which causes extra tension and bad habits which can be hard to break. Best thing is to work really slowly and focus on keeping no tension in your hand. Also I practiced the Villa Lobos Etude for so many hours 😂
Crappy musically? This is a strong argument. I think the composition ended up being very different from the original. To be honest, I prefer the Villa-Lobos version with the beautiful bass line inspired by the Brazilian choro.

Thank you! Super happy to hear this😄
Wow! This is incredibly beautiful. It sounds significantly different from the original, more melancholic I would say. Fantastic playing!
Thanks man! Definitely melancholic. I love this one and have had it on my concert program for a few years

Onde o erro?
Ele reescreveu a música, cara. Não é a composição de Villa-Lobos em si, mas sim uma reescritura.
