Kinda strage, this 2 pack should be practically the top quality, they're not cheap at all, but I notice lot of issues that shouldn't be on This kind of figures

People talks and brag about how cheap and affordable neca figures cost but Don't realize how cheap the plastic is. Only if they can use better plastic
Definitely! I wouldn't mind paying 5-10 dollars more and having a quality figure that I don't have to worry about it falling apart.

Same. I have like 12 neca predator figures and not one of them have these issues.
I have 3 Predator figures and every single one of them have the same QC issues and more. The shoulder cannon always breaks or is too loose, I have the same issue with the disc blade not fitting, and various joints are either stuck, loose or broken. They have these issues because they reuse the same body molds for way too long now.

Unfortunately this has always been the case with the alien and predator line..very hit and miss..I've lost count of the times I've had arms pop off..very loose joints at the hips..warped legs etc..sometimes a little glue here and there does the trick but it does take away the articulation at the said joint..still, for the price point I dont suppose we can complain too much..!! Nice figs by the way but I'm sure I wont see them here in the U.K as they're exclusives..keep up the good work my friend..much appreciated..!!

Man i just got that predator today and damn was it a day of work, mostly stuck joints. i pretty much had to take the whole thing appart and fix it little by little, but damn is it fun to handle now.

My most recent qc issue from any line is the new Legends comic Cap with bike. One of his wrist hinges was so stuck into one piece. I tried to warm it up and with exacto blade I tried to separate the hinge from the hand. Just ended up staying a gummy mess even though I opened up the room for it to move. So I just got it back into cold water and yeah it's never fun when we get hit with some surprises issues. I own a ton of Neca and the positive times outweigh the negative for sure, for me enough to keep cherry picking neca figs for my collection. I was able to get the superman and alien set from a buddy who bought the bundle. Out of the 2 sets it's the one I wanted more. I will be careful posing them for sure when I get it in. Still yeah I do dig these sets and I cant wait for that normal looking Batman to come out somehow. Dope review as always bro
Great review. Good luck on getting the feet replaced for Superman. I never got the part for my SDCC exclusive from last year replaced after emails from them telling me they would replace it. They stopped responding to my emails so i gave up asking for the part.
I feel your pain with the QC. I have this set and my Batman’s thigh pads won’t stay on. The Predator’s left knee and his shoulder mounted to weapon is broken.
The predators are good, its just neca has qc issues. i hope they make it right.
The plug hole on the predator is for his net launcher probably from that piece being reused from the city hunter/predator 2 figure(they threw a predator that didn't sell well and had a lot of qc problems in every incarnation of its release with a couple of kit bashed pieces glued on) in the box with some new paint apps.with Neca you need to heat their figures before handling of you will break them. The plastic and way they're painted is how Neca can give so much at such a low price point. You can tell when the figures are outsourced for additional paint apps because they come with silica packets in the box to ensure the extra paint apps continue to dry completely after being packaged(Chinese don't give a shit, they throw wet painted items in a box to rush out the run/get as many done as possible by the time they need to be ready to ship). Now, The ultimate line of their figures are built to a higher standard so all you have to really be careful with are the small plugs that go into different pieces of his gear and if he has an arm cannon don't fiddle with it too much. You'll either get one that's nice and snug or one that's floppy and will snap the skinny piece of weak plastic that holds it in place or the little peg that pops it in place. Predators are amazing figures for the price point and really meant for adult handlers with some being better built than others. With the aliens I suggest chucking them (every release ever made)into really hot water right when you take them out of the package. One more cool thing about the predators is the helmeted heads are really easy to disassemble with boiling water so you can peel the helmet off, cut the eye holes (out of the helmet) and add a small l.e.d. And clear or tinted plastic film so you have their eyes light up. Takes about 1 hr when you first do it after that you can get it down to 15-20 mins. There aren't very many figures that look as good or come with as much for 24 bucks, especially with red glowing eyes if you pop a small light and battery under the helmet. I suggest looking at top 10 lists to see the best the line has to offer. Oh and a quick tip that applies to pretty much every adult aimed figure(I say adult aimed because the build standards are way more relaxed depending on the age group the figures are going to be listed as being made for. Marvel legends for example have much stricter requirements and tests they have to pass which is why you don't see double jointed female elbows) use some sort of rubber/plastic conditioner/shine/etc like armor all on smaller pieces if you have them displayed out of packaging so the plastic doesnt grow brittle over time. That goes for capes and coats for high end figures like mezcos as well. Eventually the jackets and capes will crumb if they use that pleathery material(like most of their batman capes and other figures trench-coats)

The plug hole is because that piece is a reuse from the city hunter predator. That figure comes with a net gun that plug into it. As far as joints not wanting to move, every Neca figure requires a “baptism” in very hot water. A hair dryer won’t usually do the trick on its own. It’s a pain in the ass to have to do it but it’ll save you a lot of heartbreak later.

I had an issue with a prior years tmnt eyes being crossed and neca did send me replacement heads but it took time
The hole in the predator's leg is for the City Hunter predator's net gun.

Honestly I’ve never had any of those issues and I’ve owned over 10 neca predator figures. You definitely deserve a replacement.
I collect a lot of predators mainly the ones with updated articulation I havent ran into any breaks. That sucks about the qc especially since it is an exclusive
A few years ago I got a Legacy of Kain, Kain and had it in my bin for like 2 years and it somehow came apart at the waist and I had to glue it. So I know these are older molds so the joints suck but damn, all 4 look great. It sucks that the right arm on my right Batman arm snapped, I hit up NECA. Now should I just glue it in a decent relaxed posed or what? I dunno if NECA will want to exchange or just give me a whole new Bats, but yea I hope my others don't break, especially Supes, cause he looks perfect.

My mask guard for Batman is loose too. I hate it, I don't want to glue it..but I don't know what to do to keep it on.

I immediately put neca figs In hot water and let it sit.the warm to hot water gets into the joints better than hair dryer. Not boiling,it can damage paint and sculpt sometimes
I gave him the hot water treatment just didn't work out like it usually does.
Crazy that they wouldn't put a bat symbol on Bruce's chest! It would've been so easy and I know a lot of people are getting these just for a neca sculpted batman and superman in 7 inch. Btw do batman and superman share the same sculpt? Can bat's armor fit on clark?
I hope Neca makes it right and replaces that Predator figure!
On a side note that little Batman fun reminds me of the little fun from Men in Black the one that Will Smith used lol

Damn bro that sux I got a few ultimate predator figs including the big ass assassin predator . I’ve had a few semi stuck joints no breaks though I love they’re shelf presence for 30 bucks a pop I really dig m. Sorry you had a bad one but think you should give m a shot if your inclined to do so
So that's an older buck for the Predator which may explain the qc issues the newer Predator figures are better with updated articulation.

I love neca and there detail work on there figures but I would be lying if I didn't say thier quality control is a big issue...the type of plastic that they use cracks and breaks over time and like you just seen right out the box...it really is a shame...sucks to pay so much for these figs and have them break like that, anyway nice detailed review at any rate.👊🏾

Predators can be hit or miss when you see them in hand, but never get them from online stores. It's way more likely to get bad qc. I got a serpant hunter predator from amazon, which looks very awesome, and his shin, not at the knee joint nor the foot peg, the shin was bent 75 degrees too the side. There was no way to fix it so i just refunded it, but yeah always do in-store predators if you want/ can. I recommend the newest ultimate jungle predator because it's the first one i got without any serious issues.

So this video convinced me to kinda never try Neca tbh lol. They look really cool but with so many QC problems on both Neca vids you made from exclusives that should be more limited with more time for them to make sure it's good and they still had so many issues?
Don't let this experience taint you're view, I've got a ton of NECA figures, and in general, I've no more issues with them than I have other lines. I've had Marvel Legends with discs that tore from paint rub, I've had DC figures sheer off at swivels from born Mattel and DC Direct, etc... but it isn't common, and neither have issues been sith my NECA stuff.
That said, having QC issues sucks, and doubly so on exclusives that aren't likely to get replaced. It looks bad for the company, it's frustrating for the customer, and it leaves a lot of bad impressions, like the one you've now had. It's sad, but it's not a fair reflection of their usual product. The Predator line has produced now over 100 predators, and most have been top notch in design and function. Don't be afraid to try one or two out and decide for yourself if they're worth your continued support.
Btw, this is not in any way an indictment of the review, it's pretty clear that UU got a dud. He wasn't being unfair or untrue, he demonstrated the issues he talked about, so I'm not challenging his assessment, just advocating not to dismiss all NECA figs just because the Con exclusives have some issues.
I can't for the NYCC Neca Batman.
Its been a while since Ive read batman vs predator but form just googling images the armor on Batman looks to be based of the cover of the third issue (I dont know of which of the many crossovers) and his armor is like this one that has exposed areas that are not covered by the armor, they probably just threw in the bat just to pay omage to that scene in specific, aside from that I think they probably went with the "removable armor" not to be able to remove it but mainly just to not have to sculpt a whole new figure, just sculpt the pieces that would fit over the regular batman sculpt that will be offered with that Joker colored Alien for their NYCC pack, I still think neca should have either glued the pieces to the body or at least painted the bat symbol on his chest under the armor, still its a shame you got so many QC issues with these packs.
That helmet for bats kindda resemble the xenomorph

Neca have been going a bit overboard with the gloss on the Predator figures lately. Darkens the colours too much and lose some detail, this one the body has too much so the colours don't match up well with the head and the two Emisarry ones especially. The emissaries look nothing like their original images released by Neca because of the amount of gloss / varnish on them! Still love the hell out of Neca though!
The fact that this is an exclusive AND they’ve delayed the release of these, it makes me wonder how NECA screwed up so much

I hope mine isn't as messed up as your set dude. They look great as per usual Neca but they make their figures brittle, they come apart too easily. Usually just meant for posing rather than playing. Turns out the Supes vs Alien figure was much better than this. All these issues suck man, they should be way better for them being sdcc exclusives and for the price point.
Just use the Mafex BVS armored Batman and make him fight any of your predator figures. Love the comics but I'll pass on this.

Overall neca figures look amazing they have good sculpting and painting but their quality sucks. Bought a neca Marcus Fénix from gears of war, and 3 of them came with the arm broken. Same as other figures I’ve seen break down mid review
I have quite a few neca predator figures. None of them have this many qc issues. What a huge bummer this exclusive set is so shitty.
I own about 50 Predators and have had a breakage issue once, that’s it...and never had any quality control issues with Neca figs, which I own almost ALL of them. You guys aren’t yanking these out of the packaging like Legends are you? You ALWAYS heat up the joints before posing....beginner shit
