- This is such awesome news! I knew days ago that the DC/Dark Horse Superman vs Aliens and Batman vs Preditor were going to be released at this years 2019 SDCC as Exclusives from NECA Toys, but I didn't have time to make a video about it until today. Both of these fantastic sets will be at SDCC and also up for pre-order on Jun 5th, 6th, and 7th 1pm EST.

So it’s just came to my attention that although attendees of SDCC 2019 will be able to purchase these separately for $60 USD, those purchasing online are only able to obtain these as a bundle for $120 USD. WHAT?!

I have a love-hate relationship with NECA. What pisses me off is that the San Diego exclusive's are going to be so hard to get for the real collectors like ourselves that we're gonna have to pay scalper prices on eBay just to be able to get them and that's stupid for a company to do where there is a legitimate demand for these items.
The Sentinel but it isn’t their call. Blame DC and Mattel for the DC aspect. Look what they did with the Movie tmnt when Nickelodeon pushed playmates into agreeing to let them.
Seriously that superman feels like it's going to be THE definitive Superman figure. Articulation? only imports have better and those are mostly only movie ver, Sculpt/paint? excellent, Accessories? Very good, Size, is 7 inch, supes is a big guy, it fits him. Only thing I could wish for is for a wired cape.
You have to drop $120 on both sets just to get superman as other pointed out. With the hassle of dealing with the Neca site, wasted time, and frustration, it's just not worth it imo. I am going to hold out hope Mcfarlane gives us a great classic superman.
Brad, you do great work. Like you, im a passionate DC collector. As such, I’m pretty upset that no one outside of the States will be able to pre-order these. I would love if you made a video about NECA’s handling of this. I’ve spent tons of cash on their products and supported their lines up here, but this feels like a hard slap in the face. I realize pre-ordering these will be tricky even for Americans, but not even being able to have that same chance seems so, so unfair.
After dozens and dozens of Mattel and DC Direct Superman figures, NECA comes along and perfectly NAILS the look with a nice crisp blue.
I really hope we still get that Batman vs alien. That is one of the greatest looking Batmans I ever saw

Randy runs the Neca twitter account and I have seen on several occasions Randy being assholes to people for various reasons, like having a different opinion than him, or people being upset that they will probably never own these dc vs darkhorse sets unless they pay at least double, and I hate his hypocrisy, on several occasions he has proudly stated that he has never and will never pay one penny above retail for a toy.....yet he releases figures that almost forces people to go to scalpers to get these toys, I would love for Mcfarlane to get all the horror license back so I can say sooooo long to Randy and Neca toys.

I'm living in Europe, and i'm very dissapointed about the damn exclusives, i was waiting for these two figures since a couple of years ago, and Neca put them in form of exclusives! Unavailable a reasonable price for people that don' t live in U.S.

Has anyone had problems getting DC Multiverse figures from BigBadToyStore. I ordered the Lobo wave when they when up for preorder back in the fall. It’s June, and I’m still waiting. Anyone have any suggestions?
mannn i saw it was taking forever soo i bought just LOBO on ebay for $80. didn't want the other figures anyway.
I am just praying that the majority of attention will go to the NECA Turtles exclusives more so than the DC sets that way it will be easier to grab them.

Welp, I just placed my order and they accepted it so fingers crossed. I ordered two (they were only available in the set of Batman and Superman) so I ordered two sets (oooof). Keep me posted if you still need one.

I’m disappointed that, at least online you have to get both two packs as a bundle. You can’t just get one two pack by itself. I was going to get the Superman two pack and the turtles set which would have been like 210 which was okay but 270 is just a bit too much for me right now

So I only got the sets for the alien, if you are willing to do without the black Resurrection warrior I would be more then willing to sell you a superman
Is it true that if you do somehow get through the internet traffic to make an order you have to buy BOTH sets? I thought I read that somewhere. (which would suck...)
I read that too, I hope is not true.
Isnt that the worst? knowing about a figure that you would just about sell your grandmother for, and then not being able to get it... that's kinda how I'm feeling about the multiverse wave that's "coming soon" but at least I'm relatively sure I will get it since I pre ordered so I guess I'm just getting impatient. I am however pretty worried that we will never get a lot of the other multiverse figs they showed off last year. Seeing as how Mattel will no longer have the DC master license come 2020 I've got a feeling many of the figures they have shown won't see the light of day. I guess only time will tell.
This is a great Superman figure, but the wrong one for Superman vs Aliens...Superman had long hair in that story.
Unless this is supposed to be from Superman vs Aliens 2, but it's not advertised as that.
I thought that too but figure that they know a short haired Supes will be better received making him a mix of the two. I preferred the second story better anyhow. Having Orion and Darkseid in it made it more fun for me and helped it to be a bit more connected.

Roughly 7 inches. The scale NECA seems to work in quite a bit.

Gotta get them the day they release on hasbro site usually what happens every year but you have to be prepared otherwise you won't see it. They won't release it in stores unless they repaint the figures and rerelease but that's unlikely
