Both Venturi Injectors and Venturi Tees are equally as effective and does an excellent job at aerating the system. Before purchasing as mentioned keep in mind the waiting period. The Venturi Injectors are being shipped from China and the Venturi Tees ships within the USA. If you have patience and extra cash flow, buy the Venturi Injectors, it's not as loud as the Venturi Tees as seen in this video. I, on the other hand did not have the patience, so I bought both. :)
hey did u measure dissolved oxygen values to ensure one is more efficient than the other. By what i am seeing the injector is more efficient than T because it creates many small bubbles while the latter several large bubbles. Smaller bubbles means larger surface area between air and water therefore faster diffusion of oxygen from air to water. btw good job on putting water/air input at bottom of tank, rather than on top as most ppl do. This inc diffusion rate as well because of inc. H2O pressure
Because I want to use Venturi for my tank too but don't know which one is more effective and where to get them, can you help?
