    I believe that the reduced pressure is actually not at the outlet but at the throat of the venturi; the pressure should go back up at the outlet of the venturi (although probably not completely to where it was at the inlet due to frictional pressure loss). nice video, but a bit confusing on that part.

      I have done a similar set up still my venturi doese not suck but instead flows in to the bucket. I have tried on a 1" and 2" venturi.
      Any idea or explanation that can solve the puzzle for me? Its urgent for my corn project fertigation ...

      @@dennyphiri4370 This is too late for you, being a year later, but for future reference: while I'm no expert on such devices I know a little so I would say that discharge from the "suction" port would be due to a high head pressure (output pressure). A valve downstream of the venturi mixer would cause this, or having water delivered to the mixer at, say, 5 GPM but the output only allowing 0.5 or 1 GPM to pass which would cause very little pressure differential across the venturi. Installing pressure gauges as shown in the video would show this condition. Again, I'm no expert, I could be wrong.

      This ^. Well said Ben.
      It causes a lot of headache (and butt scratching) if you can't get them to provide proper suction. The pressure at the outlet is [near] the same as inlet (minus some losses/drag), but often cavitation causes issues. This was my case where pipe angles and elbows were too acute. Hope that helps.

    Question would this work on a 4inch irrigation system? Also what would the pressure loss be with this type of setup? And last do you sell what's needed for this system for a 4inch irrigation main line?

    ok, on the assembly#1 diagram , say your incoming pressure is 50psi, how much difference on the outward pressure will be to draw up the solution? Also on your booster pump video, is the max suction occuring?

    I have a question, can plug a waterbomb to pump water to hose absortion water on venturi, mi problem is one of 4 sectors no function with the venturi with 6 bar, and some days only have 4 bar and can't work woth anyone.

    I have failed to get a 1" and 2 " venturi to suck, I have tried several times but all I get is a flow back into the container . I need to resolve this puzzle so that I can begin to feed the corn ...

      No Brian, I just packed everything up . sad that my corn could have faired better had I managed to feed it adding soluble fertilizer along with the irrigation...

      There has to be enough outflow from the irrigation system to get the suction going. If you can't increase the outflow of the irrigation system then you could put a pressure regulator before the venturi so that pressure is not building up in your lines and forcing the water back through the venturi tube.

      Hi, I think that the fact that you are trying to feed a variety of lines creates a bunch of restriction, so causing back pressure, so you are not actually creating a pressure drop across your venturi, so you cannot suck in your soluable fertilizer.

    Hi, may I know, if install with valve in both inlet and outlet, the valve can use to create pressure difference by adjusting?
    How do i reduce my outlet pressure? Had buy the product but not working still...
