Thank you for another great video! I would aproach this slightly different. At that diagram, power is shared, so no need to disconect all the components. Just check voltage at another component that share the same power supply and if there is no drop, the problem must be in the leg of circuit going to the starter solenoid. I myself and many other technicians have the same aproach as you do, to not fire parts cannon. But the problem is people don't want to pay proper diagnostic fee, and I would certanlly not spend few hours somethimes, and charge just code read. And all other mechanics they do not charge code reading and they sell it as diagnostics. and then parts cannon is fired and you could stil not explain customers that just code riding is far more expensive.
Excellent video, well done. I'm having a problem on the same vehicle Clio 1.2 16V with a pin number 20, it's for AC control to rise the RPM's when AC is turned on, but there is no voltage. The AC works perfectly with direct 12V. I like to put direct currency on pin 20 but i do not now exactly voltage for this pin od the ECU. Does it 12v ? Pls a need help to check and resolve this issue
GreatI repair but I have a fault Clio 2 2003. ! Engine cranks wont start. Stand by battery drain is about 500ma Seems high ? Key code tricks dont work.! relay stuck on ?
Hi I have the same problem, I don’t know where the other two power wire are, so I can change the voltage, and I’m not getting there the crank sensor wires ground wires go’s into the ecu. Please help
Hi I’m back, I have no ground Signal from the ecu control relay, when I give it a manual ground with a test light. The car starts and runs fine but when I remove it the stop immediately. Any help will be appreciated
