Hello everyone! I'm excited to bring you this video focused on two awesome characters from TWD. In this video, I felt it was important to focus on more than just the friendship and eventual downfall of these characters. I wanted to focus on how their choices impacted the other characters around them (like Lori and Carl) and how Rick dealt with Shane's death long after he was gone. And for any comic readers out there, I edited it to look like Carl killed Shane, just for fun ;) Gosh, its been forever since I've done a video this long. However, this is the slowest video I've probably made thus far. Which is super weird for me since I mostly do fun, action videos or sad videos. Well, I hope you guys enjoy my 50th video. Man you got EXTREMELY creative with the parallels and transitions this time around. That bit pairing the Rick/Shane fight with the shootout was something else bro. Plus the lyric interpretation, "didn't ask you why" with "Why? Why now?" Or "losing you" with Shane being dead. Man this is a masterpiece, and that's not just me hyping you up, I mean that, this might be the most professionally crafted video on the channel. Excellent work, man.

Shane's philosophy was correct, and used by Rick now, but Shane's insane obsession with Lori collapsed the entire friendship.

Not only does this perfectly showcase Rick’s every thought about Shane after the whole ordeal but flashes back to how toxic it all was. Shiver me fuckin timbers my men, alright i will cut the dramatics. This was a trip down memory lane with those scenes from the first few seasons. Good thing shane stuck around longer than he did in the comic or we wouldnt see videos like this one! Love everything about this & how u put that line rick says to morgan in at the end too! This is some stunning editing on a technical and emotional level. really loved all the little editing subtleties in this video

Unpopular opinion : shane was a better leader than Rick, Rick turned up and everything went to shit but whilst shane was there it was all good. He was better for carl and lori aswell. Not many shane edits out there and almost no good ones, great job
I see where you're coming from, but Shane was too reckless and was losing his mind over Lori. Shane was a better leader short term. Rick is a better leader long term. Also, thanks!

Under their (Rick and Shane) leadership, the pack was crazy strong. And that's a fact, shame that was short-lived.
I know this was a while ago but I do just want to say Rick was the far better leader. Things going to shit was far more of a testament to Shane's lack of leadership qualities than it was to Ricks. So much of why things went sour was because Shane lost it, mostly because Lori was back with Rick. He even tried to rape lori that's how poorly he handled it. The whole lori situation should have actually been harder on Rick than it was Shane because they were married for years and even raised a child together, yet Rick handled that whole situation so much better than most people would have. And Rick was definitely better for lori and Carl.
