Amazing video! I have an issue, in minute 4:28 , the only location available is Ecuador, the rest of locations(including US) show as pending. I have checked everything on my Shopify and TikTok account, but the location "Ecuador" is nowhere. Everything is set up for US. What can I do?

Yes you need to have a business account on TikTok first. Then navigate through this process of setting up the store.

Super helpful - I was shipping thru tik tok seller center, now I integrated the tik tok app onto shopify. everything got the green light- but how do I ship through shopify instead of tik tok seller center? I want to be able to have a batch scan bar code for all the packages - tik tok doesn't allow for me to do that- so I was hoping by making this move, shopify would let me do that. any suggestions?

It should be automatic. Check the status in the TikTok app in Shopify.

Thanks. Yes correct you do not have to. You can run ads to you products on Shopify.

I connected yesterday and I'm trying to be a patient panda, but does it really take 3-5 days? I'm seeing the marketing ready, and products approved to use in ad campaigns, but the shop portion still says set up in progress and when I click the sync button, I see a clock and this message: "Getting everything ready We're making sure your products are ready to go. Once we're done, you can go ahead and start syncing your products."

How long does it take for the products to appear in TikTok after set up. Shopify is showing that TikTok is set up however products are still not showing in TikTok.

Hi Steward, I was watching your video and I have a problem when I try to set up the TikTok Ads Manager. It says there are no accounts and it prompts me to create one, even though I've already connected my TikTok business account. Do you know why this might be happening? Thanks! :)

Did you figure out this issue? I’m having the same problem. Even when I’m able to “link my account” it only shows a user number (not my business tiktok account) and when I click connect nothing will load, only a white screen.
When I’ve tried to create a new one, it says one already exists since my account has been made already
I am currently facing some confusion while editing categories, specifically in relation to the mandatory fields such as "Cosmetics Packaging Labelling" or "Product Model." These fields seem to be product-specific rather than category-specific. My question is: How on earth can different products within the same category have identical compositions or share the same model? It appears as though each product requires a separate category, which raises concerns about the definition of a category itself.

Very helpfull video, but there is a small glitch that I saw more people complain about; when you try to connect Tiktok in the shopify account, it keeps on loading and does not give you the option to log in. What helped for me is to click on 'create account' and navigate in the pop up screen to 'log in'.

Hey Stewart Gauld, I am facing issue related to marketing catalog locations. "A country or region can't be selected for your storefront. Check that your Shopify store has properly configured language and currency for your intended location". This pop up is appearing. What's the fix for it where I think my location of store is properly setup. Would appreciate your help. Nice video tho :)

Hmmm that is odd. Make sure that your setting are all correct based on the message. You may need to change the currency with the locations that you had added.

Yes you can auto sync your products using the app.

I have already had a tik tok shop before this. It says “ WARNING existing products on tik tok shop will be marked as lost and video product links may get lost. Existing tik tok shop orders and any updates will not be synced to shopify”

Hi! Thank you for video. Regarding Tik Tok Shop itself how do we integrate the Shopify pixel/catalog? My Tiktok Shop is created / Approved, Tik Tok Business Account, Ads Manager and Shopify however the Shopify catalog did not integrate into the Tik tok Shop the way it did for the Ads Manager. So I can run ads technically and all of that but those products are not pulled into Tik Tok Shop. As in the Tik Tok Shop that is on the profile, with affiliate marketing etc. There is an option to use a 3rd party app however that means full approval on each product and when you go the 3rd party route for Tik Tok Shop it is very difficult, many products denied and they need to be dealt with individually. Mind you these have all already been approved via the initial Tik Tok Pixel on Shopify. Any help would be amazing. If it is possible to use catalog directly I am very eager to find out because the 3rd party app is a mess of a process so far and not clean.
To clarify all aspects of account have been verified and approved weeks ago. The catalog and corresponding pixel never integrated and there is no where to manually integrate.

You can add your website link in bio, yes when you have a business tiktok account.

In the tiktok channel on Shopify, I go in to create a connection to my existing TikTok Shop account. It seems to accept the login, but when I tap "authorize" in the screen where it shows the connection from Shopify to TikTok, it takes me to a blank page and nothing apparently happens.
How do I get past this?

@@StewartGauld I was able to get it to work. I had to start the process over fully in Chrome. I logged into both Shopify and TikTok inside separate Chrome tabs (and not the apps) and then the authorization worked. Now the apps are connected.

I've been trying to do this, but as soon as I try to connect thru the shopify app, I get a "warehouse information error." There's a link that takes me to my Shopify location settings.
The info in my Shopify account is correct. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but I still get the error.

@@StewartGauld please do. I'd love to know how to get it resolved. I've contacted both Shopify and TikTok, both are pointing the finger at each other. Both have told me to verify the address in my Shopify account, and it is 100% correct, legitimate, etc. But so far, no solution from either company.
I've done everything here - but in the tiktok shop seller center, I have no products and it's prompting me to sign up with either SKU IQ or Silk Digital Connector... Shouldn't I be able to do what those paid services do with the Shopify connection?

@@DinaLorr I ended up getting the SILK connector - I had a google meet with someone from their team and he helped me set it up. It works, but it is certainly a new product... the stuff DOES get pushed to Tiktok though - so it's just a matter of getting people to buy it now..... anyone have any good videos for suggestions on how to get quality affiliates to sell your stuff?

Yeh same here. Shopify is connected to TikTok, Shopify catalogue is connected and products are ready for TikTok marketing/ Shopping. But in TikTok there are no products pulling through

You can check the status of your products inside the Shopify App.

We find enhanced more appropriate. However, it's up to you. You can read more about the options online.
