- We continue in our verse by verse Bible study through the Book of Daniel on Sunday Mornings with Pastor Gino Geraci at Calvary South Denver in Littleton CO. This week we look at Daniel 10:1-9 in a sermon called "Spiritual Warfare 101."

The Supernatural Celestial Being described actually sounds like Daniel was the one and only man in the Bible who got an actual glance of God himself
Isaiah said "I saw the Lord; He was high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. " The angels cried HOLY.... After that, in same chapter, he said his mouth was unclean; then they put a coal of fire in his mouth to cleanse him. Isaiah chapter 6?
In the days of Moses, the elders went up to meet God, and had a meal there. Exodus 24? They saw the Lord; they ate and drank; they saw a translucent pavement of sapphire, etc.......
In Exodus 24, it was a group of 70 elders who went up, and saw a sea of blue glass, translucent or transparent.
There were some other things similar to this -- although these may have been Jesus Christ in an appearance as if He were an angel -- Like when Joshua saw the Captain of the Host of the Lord (army) ... Or when Samson's parents (Manoah and his wife) saw the "Angel of the Lord"....
And of course --- When Nebuchadnezzar saw a 4th person in the fire, in the fiery furnace, with Shadrach and Meschach and Abednego (Please excuse my terrible spelling --- ?!?! )
