I've followed many teachings on this chapter over 30 years.
This is the first time that I've been convinced from the scripture on the dates etc where the teacher isn't making big assumptions, ignoring verses, introducing biased opinion. All in a clear, unhyped and accessible manner.

This makes me think of when we're kids and we see our sibling getting caught doing something really bad and dad is about to whip their arse and you start crying for your sibling.
We need to cry for out brothers and sisters that dad doesn't whip them too hard. We need to beg Abba not to go too hard on them. Cuz we're all brothers and sisters.
He's gonna send us out of the room while he deals with them...rapture.

So during the rapture, we, body and all will go up to meet Jesus in the air ? I just assumed that we would go in spirit only. Can you give more detail with this, using scriptures please. I love your teaching.

Thanks… I was confused about this. Was Daniel praying for Judah’s disobedience before exile or was he praying for forgiveness of sins while in Babylon or both. Someone explain .
Love how you explain things, thank you! I do have a question: you said 483 years in 31:32 (62 wks) but later show a period division that said 62 wks (434 yrs)?
62 weeks translates to 434 years, and 7weeks to 49 years. Add them together, tot get 483 years... That is the 69 weeks he spoke about
457BC Is what history records, I don't know where you got 445BC from.
And again looking forward to where you got the law of double reference from. Drop a verse or verses for that too.

As The Lord to prepare your heart to receive the messages in Daniel.
Life is all about preparation before reception.

is the law of Moses that you talk about in 11:36 also the same as the curses and the blessings that Deuteronomy 28 speaks about?
In verse 11 when Daniel mentions the oath and the curse and the law of Moses he's referring to the laws in Leviticus chapter 25 verse 3 where you're supposed to plow the land for 6 years and then leave it alone on the 7th year.
The word weeks comes from the language used in Leviticus 25:8, counting off seven sabbaths of years 7X7.
In Leviticus chapter 26:18 God warns that if they don't obey him he will punish them Sevenfold.
So Daniel's worried that the 70 year exile has been turned into a 490 year exile.
What Daniel doesn't know is that Darius precedes King Cyrus by about a year.
Cross reference this with second Chronicles chapter 36 verse 21, the land enjoyed it Sabbath rest all the days of the Desolation until 70 years were completed.
